“The guy at the checkout was pretty nice. The items in the store are pretty well priced. Some CDs were hard to find and were cheaper than you would find at other specialty stores. A brand new cd was 5 dollars and on Amazon it is 19.91.”

“The best collective in Southern California for mid century furniture, decor and lighting. Very open/airy and clean. Good prices and they’ll help you load. You can also request to hold items after purchase until your shipper picks up.
This is a biased review because I’m a vendor here, but look around. The prices are better than Santa Monica or Pasadena, and it’s subjectively a better shopping experience.”

“Really enjoy the vibe in the store the workers are really nice and as a plus size person I thought there wouldn’t be anything but accessories for me there but It was nice to see they also had some cute things in extended sizes I told one of the workers this and said it’s so cute and should have more plus size they said they are starting to add more plus size Items which I’ll be looking forward to see and come shop

“This place was on 7th street but moved to junipero and Anaheim street in Long Beach. Place is small but always carry full stock of so many styles of vans nice inventory of so many other brand names as well. The KINDEST patient people work there. I think it's family owned. BEST prices I've come across. Brand new shoes at affordable prices .....WHAT???!

“I stumbled upon this place whilst looking to sell some “nicer” clothes of mine. The store itself is nestled in a somewhat busy shopping center, but offers plenty of parking and walk ability. Its layout was open concept, inviting, and visibly displayed merchandise. As for the the selling process itself, I have mixed emotions. The kind young lady who accepted my items clearly outlined that the store only accepts newer fashion as well as name brands. No problem, as their website clearly defines this. Now; I took an alo coat, UGG flats, Hollister jeans/top, and a Von Dutch hat. Everything was pretty much brand new or only worn once. And although I was informed about the 30% rule, I’m a bit confused as to how that was decided? Upon receiving a message that my buy was complete, I returned and was only told the amount that I was to receive. The nice worker gave me $34 for my items. Concerned as to where the rest of my items were, I asked for my tote bag (that carried my items) back. She just pointed to a bench right by the entrance and said I could look for my items there. Shockingly, my tote was completely empty! I do think that I was lowballed as $34 did not reflect the original price of my items nor 30% of their new “store value”. Therefore, I don’t know if I would want to sell here again. The process itself was quick, easy to sign up, and the customer service was good. I just wish that they were a bit more transparent about the payback situation. With my items being so close to the door, of course I also wondered if someone could’ve easily taken them? I wish they kept a closer eye on people’s bags and held them behind the register or something. Regardless, the store was beautifully organized and offered lots of “trendy” pieces. I would definitely recommend this location if you are searching for eclectic modern pieces to add to your wardrobe for a slightly cheaper price than retail. I appreciate its sustainability and ambience for sure! However, if you are looking to sell perhaps you will have better luck with brands such as Brandy Melville, BAGGU, etc. Sorry for my lengthy post, but I do want to be thorough for anyone who would like to come here.”

“I have been to 2nd Street USA about three times now twice as a consumer and once as a seller. As a consumer, I love the variety and style offered at this thrift store. I also appreciate not being bothered by the staff and allowing me to look around freely like a thrift store consignment, not a corporate fast fashion house. As a seller, I was offered more than a fair price for the designer clothes that I offered, I was very pleased with the quote. They gave me for items, such as Alexander Wang and supreme.. I would recommend 2nd Street USA to any Long Beach local as I do find them fair, honest and efficiently trying to run a Long Beach business.Thank you AJ thank you 2nd street.
