“Bicycle Outfitter has the most extensive knowledge and the highest level of customer service I've experienced in many years of bike shopping in the Bay Area. I recently shopped for a gravel bike and worked closely with store manager, Danny Brown. He was patient and knowledgeable in showing me the many analog/traditional bike options as well as e-bike options. He clearly explained the spec differences and nuances, and he added observations that were important to my decision-making. Danny offered me the opportunity to ride as many different bikes as needed, and I never felt pressured or hurried to make a decision. I felt like the mutual goal was to find the right bike for me, not upsell me to something I didn't want or need. In addition, the bike purchase included (at no extra charge) a very thorough fitting done by bike-fitter Chris. The fitting process was also exceptional, filled with detailed measurements and adjustments, thoughtful questions about my riding preferences, and excellent observations and suggestions from Chris' wealth of experience. The end result was a fine-tuned fitting that has maximized my enjoyment of my new Specialized Creo. The outdoor retailer plans to open a 100,000-square-foot store in College Station, Texas, in 2028. It'll sit along State Highway 6, north of William D. Fitch Parkway, next to a Costco and in front of the future South College Station baseball and softball complex. On Sept. 24, the College Station City Council approved a $10.84 million sale of 28 acres in a unanimous vote. Bass Pro gets about 14 acres for its store. Dallas-based Corinth Properties will build a mixed-use project with restaurants and an event plaza on the other 14.
