“Not gonna lie, I really loved living at Da Vinci Apartments. My experience while I was actually living there was great. The apartment itself was nice, safe, and super convenient, and I really loved the amenities. Everything was generally well-maintained, and I had a great experience with the neighbors and the leasing staff during the time I lived there.
My only major issue came when I decided to move out. After giving notice that I was leaving, I was billed for some pretty crazy charges that I’m still confused about. I felt like I was treated very differently once I was no longer going to be a resident, and that definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.
Aside from the move-out experience, I genuinely enjoyed living here and would have had no problem recommending Da Vinci Apartments based on my time as a resident. It was a great place to live; I just wish the move-out process had been handled better.”

“Wow! Leasing staff ultramazing however the HUD process not so ultramazing we and a lot of people who would love to move in property have been left in limbo of what to do with Pronto that handles 3rd party applications processes.
We completed pronto certification and have been waiting for call back for already approved section8 voucher we have in hand.”

“I don’t live here, I only toured, but I had to come on here to give some well-deserved praise. Although we ultimately chose a different property, El Centro was a very close second thanks to our amazing leasing agent, Iryna.
Her work ethic and knowledge of the property were outstanding. She patiently answered what felt like 10,000 of our questions and took us on multiple tours to help us find the right apartment.
Even though we ended up going a different direction, I truly appreciated her professionalism and dedication, and I wanted to make sure she got the recognition she deserves!!

“I came from an apartment that didn't have a leasing office onsite, didn't respond to emails, text, or calls even during actual emergencies, where I got my packages and laundry stolen, where it was stinky and dirty in the common areas, no elevator, and many pest issues soooo this place is a huge upgrade.
I see some reviews that are less than stellar but they're complaining about things that I've experienced at a worse apartment building so compared to that, this place is legitimately paradise for me. No clothes will be stolen here because the washer/dryer is in unit, I learned how to work around deliveries being stolen just from personal previous experience, and the leasing team is WAY more responsive than what I'm used to. The elevators are a plus, and it doesn't stink in there. Also, there's a decent amount of public parking, which is rare in this part of LA.
That being said, while people's complaints are valid, it could be so, so much worse. And there's a workaround for some of these issues.”
“I lived here for almost 3 years and honestly, I'm so sad to have left though the area is in a rough state- this building is wonderfully maintained and full of some of the best people I've come across in downtown
The staff at the property always made me feel heard seen and taken care of, as well as safe as a female living alone in Dtla
Carlos, the security guard is always taking his job so serious and I respect that a lot and the way he protects the property and residents. Vincent and other maintenance is absolutely wonderful and it's the only time I've ever trusted anyone to go into my apartment without me being home. I've lived at so many high-rises and never felt safe letting any of the staff in my place unattended, I even feel that way at my new place! I never felt this at the Brockman and anyone who came into my unit did everything properly and with care.
But the biggest thank you to Mike who really makes a resident feel welcomed from the beginning to the end and always took any of my needs or concerns so serious and handled things in such a professional manner. Brockman was the best experience I ever had as a renter in Los Angeles and if I could pick this building up and put it down in a better area, I would stay forever!”

“I’ve had such a great experience living at The Bora. I really love the atmosphere here. It feels welcoming, comfortable, and well taken care of.
Helen has been especially wonderful. She is always so sweet, kind, and genuinely willing to help whenever I have a question or need assistance. She really makes you feel cared for as a resident, and I truly appreciate how helpful and approachable she is.
I’ve also been really impressed with the maintenance team. Whenever I’ve had a maintenance request, they’ve responded very quickly, and everyone has always been kind, respectful, and helpful.
Overall, I’m really happy living here. The staff and atmosphere make a huge difference, and I would definitely recommend it!”
“The building staff is very friendly and respectful. I went to visit a friend and sensed a wonderful atmosphere, especially from one employer, his name was Manuel, if I recall correctly. I could feel his positive energy and his willingness to help me. I loved the place.”
“Affordable but really nice amenities. For the price point in West LA you rarely get assigned parking, dishwashers, security, a gym, pool, on-site laundry, AC/heating units and balconies, so this is a gem. Management is communicative and friendly and maintenance is quick and easy.
There is a lot of construction going on currently as they're updating balconies and upgrading the whole complex, but I was told this before moving in and appreciate the work going into the building.
The area is super nice, close to the 10 and 405 for commuters and easy access to Santa Monica, Culver City and much of LA. Lots of restaurants, natural spaces and things to do. There are multiple grocery stores in walkable distance if you don't have a car, and an endless amount available if you do, including international markets, trader joes and other chains.”
“I moved into these apartments in November 2015. At the time the LL was Elizabeth, who was an absolute horror story to rent with. She would berate residents, berate the UPS and Fed Ex drivers that were there to deliver packages, would often ignore service requests, and finally let her boyfriend help manage the building although he was not an employee of Beverly Hills Properties. However, about a year before I moved we got a new LL, Nary. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and I was so sad when I moved out (I was relocated to a new city for work). The apartments and residents are fantastic, and Nary is the absolute best!”
“From the website to taking a tour, the entire process has been stress and hassle free, which i really appreciated. Even applying after finding the right apartment was easy. Very professional process with getting checked on throughout the process. Highly recommend!”
“I’ve really enjoyed living here for the past year!! The maintenance guys (Ricardo and Eswin and one other!) are always so responsive and come in less than 30 minutes nearly every time I submit a request. Just this morning, submitted a request to check my AC filter and my sink and Ricardo came within 15 minutes and had both checked and taken care of within well less than an hour. They really make this place fantastic!
Only complaint of living here is I wish I had a washer / dryer in my apartment instead of shared. Other than that, would recommend!”
“Ava Toluca hills is an apartment complex I would recommend to everyone I know . Extra mention to the maintenance man Arturo, he was super helpful and attentive, great guy! Leasing office and Management was very nice. - p.s. Scenery is great, Deer, Hills and views. Just beware of coyotes at night if you have pets.”

“I’ll be moving to Verdosa soon and the apartments are spacious with really great views. Martin has been tremendously helpful, nice, and professional throughout the whole leasing process. Honestly can’t wait to call Verdosa home!
UPDATE: I've lived here for about 10 months now and love it. First, the concierge is exceptional. Daniel, Asante, Yvette, McCall, and Patricia are always friendly and helpful and work hard in maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for the tenants - thank you!
My apartment is spacious, and the views are pretty spectacular (the photo was taken from the balcony). Very quiet neighbors on my floor. The building is located in a great part of downtown, very walkable with beautiful historic (and modern) buildings all around. If you're unfamiliar with LA/DTLA, you should still remain vigilant and aware of your surroundings, like any metropolitan city.
I haven't used the amenities yet, but the pool and recreational area are very nice and serene. Highly recommend!”

“I stayed at 8500 Burton for a couple months earlier this year. Amazing property with gracious and responsive staff that you typically see at a luxury hotel and not an apartment building. The rooftop pool and gym are beautiful. Added bonuses to living in the building are the free pastries each morning and the the complementary black car service to and from LAX.”
