I had the best time and Danielle was the best host, so glad we stopped in and got some red wine . I came in with a few others on the way to a comedy show ...I was performing in. I enjoyed the red wine and am thinking of getting a membership there. I'll be back when I'm in the area, which is regularly.!One of the better places I've been !

Collins knowledge of the industry and his background was unmatched. Our time at the tasting room was fantastic and so incredibly enjoyable. Thank you Collin! The inside is nice and roomy and felt like we were apart of the family. Overall great service as well and a great experience. Recommend going if you're in the area!

The tasting notes provided by the host were spot on. When you perfect something don't change anything. That is what this place has done.The seating area in the back was very cozy. It provided good shade during the sunny morning, but not so much shade it was hard to see (or cold).The only drawback to this place might be that it is not super accessible for handicap people as the back is gravel and the front is a staircase. That said, they may have other entrances that I did not see.

Prolly would have gone home with a few bottles anyway but Becca made the experience even better. Plus they feature plenty of unusual varietals. Malvasia? Never even heard of it!

2939 Grand Ave, Los OlivosCarhartt Family Wines is about what they put in the name: "Family" and very good "Wines" that are a labor of love. I went up to the cabin a couple years back from a recommendation and absolutely loved it. I was not currently at a place to do a wine club membership, but Troy was great the entire time with fantastic hospitality and service. I have been following CFW over the years and feel like they are doing some very special things to try and revamp the industry to make wine attractive to younger crowds while maintaining traditional varietal wines that are awesome. The ambiance of the cabin is great for socialization, they usually have good food establishments right outside, and everyone just seems to enjoy working there. I would click the button on a membership if they had a beautiful vineyard for me to escape to each tasting to enjoy an escape from LA, but that could possibly be too good to be true. Great place, a must visit.

Brandon provides a lovely tasting experience, he is knowledgeable and we have learned so much from him you should give this place a try, it is awesome.

We stopped in with our newborn and dog to taste some of their wines on the patio and had an amazing time! We especially loved the carbonic Pinot Noir, but everything was great. Highly recommend!
