Tyler Stevenson has always been quick to act, thorough in his diagnosis and treatment plan, and a true professional. He’s a gentleman and an asset to the valley. Terre et Sang Tasting Room
2982 Grand Ave, Los OlivosThis place gets it. First and foremost, best Chardonnay I’ve ever tasted in my life (I’m not even a chard fan typically). The environment they’ve created is so vibey with a beautifully appointed cottage, deck and garden area. Duncan is very knowledgeable and intentional about his craft and you can tell him and his family put their hearts into everything here. Must go!

Future Perfect Wine
2933 San Marcos Ave #101, Los OlivosHow do we even begin to express our LOVE for Sunshine and her Future Perfect wines? My partner and I happened in one afternoon while stopping in the area for lunch. As we entered the amazing shop we knew we had found our people. We were greeted with such warmth, but what really blew us away were the WINES! I'm embarrassed to admit we are wine snobs, so tasting the bubbles they were pouring was a shock. They were so delicious! We have basically become super-fans, and stop there every time we are in Los Olivos now. We can't stop talking about Sunshine and her crew. We were lucky enough to be a part of their street fair, and couldn't believe the kindess and warmth of the people in the area. It's a stunning display of how when you love what you do, it shows in your product. Future Perfect for life!

The wines are consistently excellent, and the Pinot Noir is always a favorite. It really captures what makes this region so special—beautifully balanced, elegant, and full of character.
What keeps us coming back, though, is the tasting experience. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about wine. Michael has a great way of sharing insights about the vineyards, winemakers, and the region without ever making it feel overwhelming. Every visit feels both enjoyable and educational.
If you love well-crafted wines and want to learn more about what makes this area unique, this place is definitely worth a visit.

Refugio Ranch Vineyards - Los Olivos Tasting Room
2990 Grand Ave, Los OlivosThe wines are phenomenal, thus why my wife and became members a few years ago. This Gleason Family winery is also a very attractive and amazing facility. The grounds are beautiful, and the tasting room gets you right into the ranch vibe. The staff that work here are by far the reason we love to come. There is a lot of amazing wine in the valley but it is the people wine educators and the rest of the staff that make this place the one you want to come to. The staff here to include Dean, Janet, and a special shout out to our special Susan all make us feel like family. We try and make the drive up whenever we can to visit and see our friends here at Refugio Ranch. Thanks again to all of you for making this place a wonderful spot to spend our weekends. They also have the private Ranch tasting at the vineyard for members which is a very special treat. If you are in the area please come in and visit!

Fun lady taking care of people, the wine is good, it's just a gem in the rough.
Support this kind of wine tasting experience, stop supporting the insane $50-$100 tasting fees.

Great tasting wines that never disappoint with great service! Sometimes I read romance novels that mention Carhartt clothing and it makes me want to come back to Los Olivios...it is only a 4 hour drive

Prolly would have gone home with a few bottles anyway but Becca made the experience even better. Plus they feature plenty of unusual varietals. Malvasia? Never even heard of it!
