Tyler Stevenson has always been quick to act, thorough in his diagnosis and treatment plan, and a true professional. He’s a gentleman and an asset to the valley. My bills from Alamo are among the few I don’t mind paying because every dollar spent has been a rich investment into my horses. Thanks again Tyler and Mary!

Queen Cup Coffee
2900 Nojoqui Ave, Los OlivosStopped by the new location of Queen Cup and it was nestled away from the busy street, had fun music and chairs to sit at with my toddler while I waited for our drinks. The veggie burrito was delicious and their signature coffee options are great. They gladly made my child a chocolate milk. The atmosphere is chill vibes and as a local, I appreciate places like that!

Terre et Sang Tasting Room
2982 Grand Ave, Los OlivosThis place gets it. First and foremost, best Chardonnay I’ve ever tasted in my life (I’m not even a chard fan typically). The environment they’ve created is so vibey with a beautifully appointed cottage, deck and garden area. Duncan is very knowledgeable and intentional about his craft and you can tell him and his family put their hearts into everything here. Must go!

Future Perfect Wine
2933 San Marcos Ave #101, Los OlivosHow do we even begin to express our LOVE for Sunshine and her Future Perfect wines? My partner and I happened in one afternoon while stopping in the area for lunch. As we entered the amazing shop we knew we had found our people. We were greeted with such warmth, but what really blew us away were the WINES! I'm embarrassed to admit we are wine snobs, so tasting the bubbles they were pouring was a shock. They were so delicious! We have basically become super-fans, and stop there every time we are in Los Olivos now. We can't stop talking about Sunshine and her crew. We were lucky enough to be a part of their street fair, and couldn't believe the kindess and warmth of the people in the area. It's a stunning display of how when you love what you do, it shows in your product. Future Perfect for life!

Refugio Ranch Vineyards - Los Olivos Tasting Room
2990 Grand Ave, Los OlivosThe wines are phenomenal, thus why my wife and became members a few years ago. This Gleason Family winery is also a very attractive and amazing facility. The grounds are beautiful, and the tasting room gets you right into the ranch vibe. The staff that work here are by far the reason we love to come. There is a lot of amazing wine in the valley but it is the people wine educators and the rest of the staff that make this place the one you want to come to. The staff here to include Dean, Janet, and a special shout out to our special Susan all make us feel like family. We try and make the drive up whenever we can to visit and see our friends here at Refugio Ranch. Thanks again to all of you for making this place a wonderful spot to spend our weekends. They also have the private Ranch tasting at the vineyard for members which is a very special treat. If you are in the area please come in and visit!

Taste of Santa Rita Hills

Michael and Marlene are a wonderful couple to present local wines with their knowledge and passion. I tasted a wine maker flight which was exactly what I was hoping for. They were never pushy to sell, but I joined the wine club willingly.

As a member, I am thrilled to get my shipment every few months. I’ve loved every bottle - the complex flavors reflect the various vineyards and I appreciate the single varietal/single vineyard approach. Truly incredible wine making!!

2900 Grand Ave, Los OlivosTensley Tasting Room in Los Olivos was an excellent experience. The tasting server was very friendly, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome from the start. The wines were delicious with a great variety to try, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable for a Sunday afternoon. It was also dog friendly, which made the visit even better.
We ended up buying a few bottles because we enjoyed the wines so much. One of the best parts of the experience was how unpretentious everything felt. Their attitude was basically, “this is our wine, we produce it locally, let the wine speak for itself,” without trying to oversell anything or give a bunch of unnecessary hype. It felt authentic, approachable, and focused on simply making and sharing great wine. Would absolutely recommend stopping by if you’re in Los Olivos.

Grimm's Bluff - Tasting Room
2445 Alamo Pintado Ave #102, Los OlivosWe had the opportunity to visit Grimm's Bluff and were blown away. We loved the private vineyard tour. The grounds were beautiful and we learned so much from Ashlyn as she introduced us to the property. The wine is STUNNING - unique and delicious, and different from SY valley. Ashlyn was a wonderful host and we can't wait to come back.

The wines predominantly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay) are world-class. Our host was Danica and she was engaging, knowledgeable and a great ambassador for Brewer-Clifton and Santa Barbara wines in general. Go to Brewer-Clifton!

Prolly would have gone home with a few bottles anyway but Becca made the experience even better. Plus they feature plenty of unusual varietals. Malvasia? Never even heard of it!
