Their staff is very friendly to me and my dog who they know by name.
I trust them to not only groom but look out for my dog.
There prices are a lot higher now.

300 Storke Rd, GoletaGoleta Airport Hospital is absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, the staff made both my dog and me feel completely at home. I brought my Corso, Mochi, in for an exam—and she didn’t even want to leave the office!
The vet techs were wonderful, and Mochi clearly adored them. She came home spoiled with treats, a toy, and even a flower on her collar. Thank you to the entire team for such a caring and positive experience.

12240 Calle Real, GoletaI sit here on my couch after doing my own morning training session with both dogs and I am in tears. I cannot begin to explain the amount of relief from anxiety training my dogs with Ricky has brought me. No amount of therapy could touch how I felt previously. I have learned patience, clear communication (with my dogs), and appreciation of the minds ability to change after years and years of ingrained unwanted behaviors. Ricky does not sell a one size fits all package - each of my dogs are VERY different, and while the fundamental approaches and concepts in training are the same - the method and timing in which we applied and reinforced these were vastly different. Ricky is able to connect with two leggers and four leggers alike - he gives clear feedback to dogs and human and uses metaphors that we humans understand (driving the speed limit and getting speeding tickets haha) on how the concepts of his approach effects dog behavior. I couldn’t be happier. I am humble and I know I need to continue management (and one of my dogs I am holding to higher standard so we are going to continue our own sessions based on what I have learned) but my dogs are completely different. I’m getting complimented by family, friends, and people on walks - impressed with how well behaved my dogs are. I smile and tell them “thank you it’s lots of continued hard work” and move along.
This morning in particular we walked during trash pick up, had lots of people distractions, and both dogs stayed heeled and attentive to me on their separate walks.
Do not hesitate to consider Ricky for your training needs. Also, if you feel alone with your dogs behavior - please know you are anything but alone. The fact you are looking at reviews for dog trainers is a clear indicator that you want the best for your dog and intend to give them them best. :)

It’s fun that they have tasting rooms both here at home in Goleta and also in Los Olivos if we want to take a little jaunt into the valley. The wine is exceptional, especially the pinots. The folks at Samsara are such lovely people - Julie, Jack and Genevieve are especially kind and we love seeing them! The programming at the Goleta location is great (bands come to play, etc). Plus, there is a woman at the LO location who brings her guitar and plays/sings! What’s not to love about a free concert?!
The value is incredible. We have gifted membership to our parents in NYC and they also loved it.
Oh, and they’re super dog friendly! Our dog Pismo loves to hang out there, and everyone is so kind about his antics.

My issue lately is the bread has been burnt on the outsides; giving the bread a bitter taste. Also, the salt levels are not consistent. A few times the bread was very salty.
From their lunch menu, I had the vegan sandwich; it was delicious.

We arrived very hungry and left completely satisfied. The menu offers an impressive variety of fresh, healthy dishes, and everything sounded so delicious that choosing what to order was the hardest part. There are so many mouthwatering options that you’ll find yourself wanting to try them all.
After placing our order, we barely had time to choose a table before our food arrived. Everything was served fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. I ordered the salmon with pesto accompanied by an arugula salad, and it was absolutely delicious. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals as well, including the fish tacos, vegetarian burrito, and roasted chicken breast with marinara pasta.
The restaurant itself is bright, spacious, and comfortably air-conditioned, with plenty of natural light and greenery both inside and outside. The outdoor seating area is thoughtfully equipped with numerous umbrellas, providing welcome shade and comfort on sunny days.
Natural Café is a wonderful place to enjoy fresh, wholesome food in a relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Cold Noses, Warm Hearts
5758 Hollister Ave, Goletawe adopted Hourglass (we did change his name to Jasper, lol) from Cold Nose Warm Heart on August 2nd. I was nervous with 3 dogs, but he's been amazing. loves to cuddle, gets along with all the dogs and the other cat. He does get me killed in Fortnite because i can't see sometimes, but it's worth it, lol. we LOVE him. the whole transition was smooth, working with the foster parent as well as CNWH staff. Thank you
