Plenty on Bell
508 Bell St, Los AlamosI was told they served good coffee w warm creamer so your coffee doesn't cool. It must be only when you dine in, I poured my own out of a carton. It was good coffee we picked up a few sweets for dessert butter bar. Would love to come back so I can get the warm cream treatment. Small cafe w pretty flowers

Bodega Los Alamos
273 Bell St, Los AlamosWe went for the Bandito Burgers they have on Sundays. They opened at 12 and when we got there 1145 there was already a line. The line continued to grow behind us, too. They operate out of a food truck in the back part of the lot. There is plenty of seating throughout. While you wait in line, they have an open bar with beers and wines. Small, cute, nice little stop. Burgers were good. Prices were ok. I guess on Saturday they have a BBQ to die for, but people line up really early for that, and I've heard they sell out too, so if you're not an early bird, well....Maybe one day we will get the BBQ.

Pico Los Alamos
458 Bell St, Los AlamosThis was one of the only restaurants open when the rest of the town was closed on a random Wednesday- and we were so happy with our experience.Something happened to our server so we ended up getting helped by someone who ordinarily does other work busing tables etc and he was AMAZING!! He definitely should be promoted to server. He was so attentive, always approaching with a big smile and all three of us adored him! He also knew all about the food and drinks and had great recommendations. All of the food was amazing- next level! It was so good we even grappled over it lol.Obviously be prepared to spend a lot for small portion sizes but this was expected given the type of restaurant it is.There’s indoor and outdoor seating with heating. Both are equally charming.

Valle Fresh
380 Bell St, Los AlamosI was visiting friends in Santa Barbara and looking forward to this dinner. My friend secured the reservation as soon as it became available. It was worth the effort. We sat outside on a beautiful evening and had a delicious dinner. I had never tried uni before and was apprehensive, but I paired it with the caviar and found it delicious. The salad was excellent - fantastic date vinaigrette and then had the tomato tart. Excellent. I didnt want it to end!! Had the steak frites main - yum, and the chocolate dessert. All excellent. Did not drink but the wine list was comprehensive with many options at various price points. I really liked this place, found the service great, and the location charming. Would recommend if in the area..

Bob's Well Bread Bakery
550 Bell St, Los AlamosLOVE this restaurant! Ample seating with phenomenal food in a cute town. Little seating inside but there's a covered & uncovered patio outside as well. Prices of the meals (besides the pre-made sandwiches) are well priced especially for the area. The pastries are a bit expensive ($6-6.50/each) but some are well worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this place & will be bringing friends & family whenever they visit. Wouldn't order again: Reuben sandwich, chocolate-pistachio croissant, & beans on toast. I thought the reuben sandwich was a bit bland & underwhelming. The chocolate-pistachio croissant was okay but wouldn't order again for $6.50. Beans on toast is a British dish but the sausage tasted *just* like pork potsticker filling -- It just didn't make sense as a cohesive dish & I couldn't enjoy it. I would've liked it a lot more if they used a different sausage. Will order 1000 times: Cinnamon sugar morning bun, meatloaf sandwich, & egg in a hole #2. That cinnamon sugar morning bun is crack. Oh my gosh, it will live rent free in my mind for a long time & I will probably spend an ungodly amount of money on it. Highly, highly recommend. I was also a very big fan of their meatloaf sandwich (one of the best things I've ever eaten), egg in a hole #2 (though I wish there was a 2nd egg), & whatever the bread was in the egg in a hole #2 (again, one of the best things I've ever eaten & hands down the best bread I've *ever* eaten). Also good: The candied pecan morning bun, almond croissant, & regular bagel with whipped cream cheese. Can't go wrong ordering those.

Norman at the Skyview Los Alamos
9150 US-101, Los AlamosThe good things about Norman's definitely outweighs the bad so I'll start with the good. Fabulous unique drinks. Presentation is top notch. The bar tenders are friendly and knowledgeable and make tasty beverages. The view is gorgeous. Bring a light jacket or sweater as it can get chilly outside in the evenings. The inside decor is tres chic and inviting. Makes us feel like staying awhile. About 90% of the clientele are young and trendy and it's enjoyable to watch the next generation enjoy life. Now for the bad. The star rating was a toss between ok (3) or great (5) so I decided to go in the middle with good (4). Let's start with the parking. Hotel guests stay at the top of the hill for convenience to their rooms understandably. But us being locals, there is no need for an over night stay, so parking for only food/drinks is at the bottom of a hill. It is quite a steep walk, but it's doable, just not in heels, and the "ride up" isn't always available. But I guess I DESERVE THE WALK to justify the margaritas I plan to have once I make it to the top. Now for the food. Sometimes the food is a hit or miss so we usually stick with what we are familiar with so we aren't let down. There are some vegetarian options offered so that is a plus. We know they can make great food as we've had it before so not sure what the issue is with the consistency of quality. I won't go into much detail because we truly like going there and don't want to harm business, but the one thing I will say is, what's up with that "cold pizza?" Flatbread Full of Life's is right down the street. All in all, it a great place to have in town, they just have a few kinks to iron out.
