11441 CA-29, Lower LakeStopped by on my drive around the lake on a sleepy winter weekend to start my ClearLake vacation. To start it was just me with Kendall serving up my wine tasing. Got to chat all about Nebraska and how his family ended up here making wine. What an interesting story. Kendall is a true renaissance man.
Soon a group of friends and some wine members joined us.
Had a lovely chat with everyone and got recommendations on hikes, restaurants, etc. And I got super lucky- It's restaurant week in town!
The area is gorgeous. The tasting room is lovely especially with all of Kendall's stained glass artwork. The outdoor patio is super welcoming and if it hadn't been a cold/windy day sitting outside would have been awesome.
I'm told that in the summer they have Thursday night parties with food/music etc which sounds amazing. And they serve a Frose in the summer.
Can't recommend this place more. PS- The Pinot Noir was my favorite.
