“My PCP went out of business and one of the recommendations was Dr. Bredeek. I got an appointment right away, his office staff Lavina and Bob are friendly, cheerful and after a year the longest I have had to wait is no more than 2 minutes. Rudy is also a very nice, polite staff member. I sign in and immediately am shown to an exam room for BP/Weight/Temp and then about 5-10 min wait for Dr. Bredeek himself. He is always upbeat and interested. He's a PhD and extremely versed in his practice. Suffice to say, I feel fortunate to have found him, he is totally dedicated to my well being and good health.”
“Did a walk in on a Friday right before they opened at 7am & luckily I was the only one. In & out within 15 minutes. Only 1 lady working there who did reception & drawing. She was so efficient & pleasant.”

“The people at this lab are really nice. However, it is very hard to draw my blood, so I always tell the technicians to use a butterfly needle. And for whatever reason, the technician that helped me did not use one and was not even certified to do so. But she didn’t share that information with me. I wish that once I had told her about my situation, she had referred me to a more experienced phlebotomist. After sticking me twice, she finally asked for her colleague’s help. And the second technician was terrific and very sympathetic. But my initial suffering really wasn’t necessary. I will certainly return to this lab, but I have learned my lesson to be more assertive about my needs. I hope by sharing my story, other people in my situation might do the same, and maybe technicians will also ask or pay attention when someone shares what they need.”
“easy to get an appointment for same / next day visits online but wouldn’t recommend coming in without one due to delays with communication barriers and a SLOW elevator. bring print orders, they don’t accept digital except via fax and email.
Emily (one of the phlebotomists here) really takes the time to explain things in depth amidst the chaos and is very kind — almost like a character straight out of The Pitt TV show LOL”
“I’ve been here a few times for scheduled appointments, usually at 730a. There are already a handful of customers and almost all labs have only 1-2 staff manning the front desk and doing blood draws. These Lab folks deserve respect. They cover all parts of the office. They’re not set up for success to meet all walk ins. They do their job well and are efficient as can be.”
“Excellent service as I had to drop mom off for her appointment Friday and look for parking!Only problem here was reaching live people here to get directions and parking info just couldn’t get it so we were frustratingly on our own! So after half hour I was able to find parking on the street?????❤️✌️and we needed every bit of the two hour maximum parking meter rules! We drove in because of CoVid and my mom hasn’t had her CoVid vaccine shot yet so taking BART was definitely a no!( The staff of Dr and intern Veronica were super nice as I watched them take care of my moms’eyes:)I recommend this place to anyone having devastating sight issues like mom being legally blind due to immaculate degeneration and two messed up cornea transplants, which she never got compensated for.”

No appointments taken, just walk-ins. I recommend coming super early or between 3 and 5pm.
I’ve had to have a lot of bloodwork done after suffering through sepsis and hospitalization when I had a lot of needles missing my veins and subsequently scarring all over my arms, wrists, and hands.
So, I am qualified in stating that the phlebotomists here are amazing and make the experience super quick!”

Quest cancelled my appointment at the 15th St location, so I came to this one for a walk-in.
I have small veins which usually gives phlebotomists trouble. Trouble was had as usual, but everyone was so kind, continually asking if I was okay and eventually getting the job done. Usually at these kinds of places the workers are the least reassuring people imaginable. Thank you to everyone here!”
“I was really anxious about this lab since their reviews aren’t great on here. However, Oko was so amazing. She listened to my concerns and helped me through the process. She talked kindly and helped distract me while she effortlessly did her job. I am squeamish and have often vomited or passed out when getting blood drawn. So this is a big deal for me. Her empathy and kindness will definitely get my return business.”
“The Technician was pleasant, thorough and efficient. The only complaint I would have is the San Rafael location is not easy to find. It would be nice if there was signage in the front of the building. Otherwise it was a quick and easy visit.”
“This place is so much better than any Quest lab. First of all they have a receptionist who is competent and kind. The phlebotomists are talented and the atmosphere is competence and excellence. Run far from Quest at any location but especially Mill Valley and come to this good lab!”

“The technician, a young woman, was better than prompt. She was also personable and very efficient. I'll use Quest again when diagnostic blood tests are needed. A suggestion, if I may. If I see my physician for a physical, it would be nice to have blood drawn at the same time, then sent to Quest for analysis. This could speed things at Quest facilities while serving the public.”
