“They've moved to 805-C East El Camino Real in MOUNTAIN VIEW. My nav system kept taking me to Sunnyvale. Chris knows the business and is a no nonsense guy. He told me what to bring and what to expect with my order. I'm looking forward for his call to pick up my order.”
“Your sales people really know the products you carry. They know the drop of different running shoes, whether they are for neutral/pronating/supinating feet, and which styles come in different widths. They even volunteer the information the you may be due a reward on your current purchase. I had some unexpected things happen on a custom order I had on Hoka shoes. Every person I dealt with took ownership of the problem to get it resolved. I won't be buying athletic shoes anywhere else.”
“Was kindly welcomed Christopher who took all the necessary measurements for perfectly fitted running shoes. Vladimir was also very professional and super lovely. I am a beginner runner, I need wide shoes and I am new to Road Runner Sports, he explained everything to me in great details. The VIP Family Rewards Membership was a good option. The 90-day perfect fit guarantee is very reassuring. I am impressed by this shop, its assortment and recommend it.”
“Sonja went above and beyond to be helpful after an insane debacle with Keen Central. Basically, Keen had a batch of Versacore in the color Primose/Alloy size 6.5 that were mislabeled/missized which they vehemently denied was possible. 3 pairs and 6 Keen people later I gave up being treated poorly (Keen Central not Palo Alto store) and called the Palo Alto store. Sonja took time to measure the shoes to help confirm that the pair of 6.5's they had in stock in a different color were indeed smaller and true to size. She then held the shoes until I could arrange to be in the area to try them on and buy them. An associate validated that the shoes I had received were indeed bigger than they should have been and measured my feet and explained the measurements to me.
Sonja was so nice and apologized for all I went thru and expressed that this was very atypical. She encouraged me to try on different styles to explore fit. She was very knowledgeable about all of the shoes I tried on and Keens as a company. Ultimately She helped me get a pair of appropriately sized Versacore in a different color for very close to the sale price from what I had ordered from Keen.
She even was so kind that she found a pair of colored laces to make the replacement pair closer to the color I had been hoping for.
If you are anywhere close to Palo Alto deal directly with the Keen Garage versus online.”
“Kind of expensive. But when your a big person you have to pay that little extra to get something that fits well for you. Customer service is excellent. Every time l go the employees try their best to assist and connect with the customer. Good selection of clothes and organized unlike Burlington ?”
“Amazing service from the whole team. When the initial alterations took longer than expected, they really expedited the second round of tailoring to get the suit ready in time for my event. Loving how the suit turned out, very excited to wear it this weekend.
Time flies during the designing and sizing, so make sure to check the online configurator ahead of time to get an idea of what the options are. Try to wear fitted clothing, it will make measuring easier.”
“I am very pleased with the purchase of these shoes for my daughter for Christmas. they were in high demand and I could not find them anywhere except from Hansen’s. Not only did they have product availability, but the shipping was very fast and arrived long before Christmas. I will consider Hanson’s for all my shoe needs in the future.”
“Came in today looking for new work boots , Bruno helped me find exactly what I was looking for, also tested and recommended me my right size insole. Very knowledgeable will be back here for my next pair.”
“I recently visited Footwear etc. in Cupertino and had the pleasure of being assisted by Scott. His expertise and attentive service made my shopping experience exceptional. Scott’s ability to assess my needs without the use of measuring devices was impressive, and he guided me to footwear that fit perfectly and met my requirements. I highly recommend seeking out Scott for his professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction.”

“We don’t have a DSW in our town here in the Bay Area. So when I went in went out while I was in San Jose, I was shocked to find out that they sell betsy Johnson shoes! OK now you’ve got me hooked!”
“I worked with Alice to find my wedding shoes, and I just want to say — she was truly wonderful. She made sure that I received my shoes on time, kept tracking and updating me throughout the whole process, and checked in to make sure I felt good, supported, and confident. The shoes arrived perfectly, and everything turned out smooth and beautiful — just like I hoped. Thank you, Alice, for being patient, thoughtful, and truly caring.
Thank you for understanding how meaningful this was to me. Highly recommend working with her!”

“This location has become my go-to store since Palo Alto closed. I'm always being helped by a young man named Aaron. Aaron is an awesome guy. He's very helpful and friendly and answers all my questions and offers advice as well. He always remembers me when I walk in which isn't too often because my shoes last a long time. This is the best shoe store around for quality shoes.”
“I visit this store when I travel to San Jose. The staff is pleasant. I recently ordered some shoes to be shipped to this store. I wasn't sure if I would be there to pick them up. They were quick to offer solutions to make sure I would get my shoes. My shoes arrived the day I was leaving and the staff was quick to let me know my shoes had arrived. Georgina was fantastic. I love shopping at this store.”

“I was in the store for the first time today. It was an amazing experience. Christine must have brought out a dozen pairs of shoes and helped me with the tricky buckle. She was patient and also fun to work with. I now have two brand new pairs of shoes at a reasonable price and that fit well.”

“It's a club you don't need to join - anyone can walk in off the street and start shopping. They have a wide selection of shoe types and styles - from steel toe work boots to Air Force Ones. If you need hard to find shoe accessories (like crease protectors), then you can find them here. In addition to shoes they sell team logoed hats and Jackets. And the staff is helpful and friendly.”
“Such a lovely store! Smells wonderful when you first walk in and has a unique but nice flow to it. The staff are attentive but not overwhelming. I had a great interaction with one of the women working in the plant area and she helped me find a specific plant in an arrangement I wanted.
The one and only downside to me is the elevator since it was one of the scariest elevators I had ever been in- it was slow to begin with and then seemed to almost vibrate and shake and make some very unpleasant sounds. It didn’t seem to operate too poorly outside that but it was certainly a strange experience.”
“My go-to surplus store. I've made it a point to drop by every couple of months to see what's new.
A lot of stock tends to sit for a bit and doesn't seem to get marked down, so if you're in the market for a specific article, double check what it's going for online.
However, they tend to get more unique uniforms and equipment than just your standard USGI kit. But whatever your fancy, be it airsoft, collection, or reenactment, you may just find what you need here.
On top of that, it's also a large workwear store. You can find a lot of popular brands in multiple sizes and variance to fit your scope of work.
The staff are great too. They'll let you know if a certain item isn't eligible for return and are more than happy to help you find the right fit for your gear.”
“I was blown away by how awesome these guys are! I came in for a zipper fix on a jacket and they were so kind, efficient, and crazy quick. Plus the jacket was as good as new afterward and exactly what I needed; the shop is also very lovely and easily accessible. I will bring my shoes for repair here and only here from now on (plus other knickknacks like the zipper hopefully), and HIGHLY recommend that you do the same!”
“I’ve been wearing Cole Haan shoes for years, and they continue to be my favorite—especially the sneakers. The quality is excellent, and they’re consistently comfortable. I particularly like their leather sneakers and Zerogrand Stitchlite Oxford shoes, which balance style with comfort. The laser wingtips in Morel-Marmalade are my go-to for holidays when I know I’ll be doing a lot of walking—they’re versatile, stylish, and hold up really well.
I own multiple pairs and have been using them for years, and they’ve proven to be durable and reliable. Comfortable, versatile, and perfect for everyday wear or travel.
? Quick Tip: Highly recommend the leather sneakers and laser wingtips if you want comfort without compromising style.”
“Nordstrom Rack each has a different vibe. Fremont has better layout in the store sales and friendly staff. Palo Alto seems that everything is just thrown in the middle of the room. Not a lot of options shoe size for 6.5 - only 1.5 rack. Only engaged with the check out person who wasn’t rude but certainly didn’t seem thrilled to be there.”
“I've already done a review of the Rodd n Gunn store at Manawa Bay, Auckland airport, where the exemplary experience enabled by the staff (Medi and Chaminda) there floored me. It was a continuation of a similar experience at their Tawa store in Wellington with the staff member Rahul being very helpful and courteous.
And now moving across the Pacific to California. I bought (quite a) few pieces for myself and as gifts in New Zealand, before making the hop to.San Francisco. One of them was a gift for someone in the US, and the size turned out to be wrong. I had the receipt, and armed with that I went to this store. I was half expecting it to be a problem, because of it being a different country, different inventory codes, different pricing, etc.
And yet, the manager (?) of the store - Anthony (spelling?) assured me that he'd do all he can after checking options. And he did. He got the size swapped out! I was delighted and relieved - after all, these garments don't come cheap.
And not only that, he went on to guide me about some other product lines very helpfully, informed me of the upcoming 4th of July offers and gave me the option to choose garments which I could pick up at the offer prices when they would go live.
Unbelievable, consistent service quality across countries. Are they all sent to the same training school or something?
It is such a delight to deal with the staff at any Rodd n Gunn store.”
“This place has everything you’re looking for from Bay Area and all the latest clothing brands. Everyone was 100% helpful with everything. Check them out!!! I can’t wait to go back and shop there again!!!”

“I went to return a bunch of purchases and the only problem I had is there carts lock when you try to take them into the parking lot. This made it very difficult for me to get all of my packages into the store. They need to stop with the locking carts”

“A repeat customer. The service is excellent and the staff expertise on sizing for longevity versus comfort is very helpful. A big selection of shoes too for all ages! We'll be back for the next pair in a few months ?”
“I found adult size leotards in a variety of styles. They could use more sizing. I only found a few XL and they were not truly large. There were no plus sized (plus sized in ballet terms being anything larger than a 10 ?). This is an industry problem, so it may not only be the choice of the store, but I would love to see more inclusion in that way. Half of the store was for children, so they may cater a bit more to the littles.”
