“Loved this place! I stop by to get some jazz shoes and the lady in front give us best experience ever. My daughter is being dancing since she was 2y and for several years we're having trouble finding the perfect shoes. Here was totally different, she give us some advices, and was kind and patient to my 7y old daughter to have the best shoes for her show! She also offered a discount because my daughter explained her she is having a performance today. I highly recommend this place. Best customer service.”

“Google maps said Open but when I arrived the sign said New Hours Closed Mondays except by appointment. Staff was there doing administrative work so they invited me in anyway. However they don’t stock shoes like a regular shoe store but measure your feet first for a fee, which can be applied to a purchase. Plus they don’t do returns so that is a little concerning. I was short on time so just tried on a similar sandal of the brand I’d seen advertised that they happened to have my size for and they were comfortable! (Orthofeet) The staff member seemed VERY knowledgeable, experienced and certified. If you have a specialized fit need, especially for diabetes (which I don’t have) definitely give them a try. The business is family and locally owned, not a chain.”

Time flies during the designing and sizing, so make sure to check the online configurator ahead of time to get an idea of what the options are. Try to wear fitted clothing, it will make measuring easier.”

“I was about to buy HOKA shoes online yesterday, but then I came across this store. Marlen helped me find the perfect pair for my foot type. She first measured my feet and explained which shoes were specifically designed for the way I walk and my foot shape.

I was also surprised when she told me my shoe size wasn’t actually a 10.5 and that I should be wearing an 11 or even an 11.5. Once I tried them on, I immediately understood what she meant. she was absolutely right!

She is incredibly knowledgeable and knows every detail about the shoes she recommends. I’m so glad I didn’t order online and found her before ending up with the wrong pair. I highly recommend asking for Marlen if you visit the store!”

“The owner of the shop is incredibly chill and knowledgeable. Helped me get a perfect longboard setup, even though the boards come as complete sets, he let me swap out some wheels and bearings and the prices were super reasonable. Also, if you're looking for the Baker Tim Robinson board, they have a few of the cosmic gumbo and the hotdog one, as of yesterday-just gotta ask about them!

(Just a note this is an old review so idk about the Baker boards, but still a fantastic shop!)”

“I will come here from now until forever for all of my dance shoe needs. They were so helpful in choosing the correct fit for me, as I am not in close proximity to the store. Their shipping was very fast, and they even called me on the phone before shipment to make sure that I was ordering what would work best for me. “Highly recommend this store and a particular sales associate (younger man of color) who encouraged my mom to order Hokas a half size up and wide. My mom had previously bought a 6 and was adamant that she keep that size, but he wouldn’t relent. I think he joked that he wouldn’t sell her the size 6, and she was not led astray. She was able to walk 22k steps without any foot discomfort and agreed the 6.5 was even better than the 6. Bless this man who not only provides great service AND great knowledge and judgement! We had just purchased a perfume at Macy’s, but unfortunately they didn’t provide us with a gift bag. As we were walking by the Jimmy Choo store, we decided to step in and ask if it was possible to get one.

“One of my favorite places to shop for shoes. They carry many trendy options, especially sneakers. However, we couldn’t find many weightlifting friendly shoes since most styles are geared toward fashion, running, or cardio.

The women’s section has a great selection of boots and heels, many at good prices. There is also a large sales section worth checking out.”

“It's a club you don't need to join - anyone can walk in off the street and start shopping. They have a wide selection of shoe types and styles - from steel toe work boots to Air Force Ones. If you need hard to find shoe accessories (like crease protectors), then you can find them here. In addition to shoes they sell team logoed hats and Jackets. And the staff is helpful and friendly.”

“Updated review June 2026: I just had the best experience again. This time with Diva, she went above and beyond to help me understand sizing and tried on a few different styles. As a new mom navigating shopping and new sizes and all of that I greatly appreciate her time and care. Left with three pairs that I can wear to work. Yay! TYSM! Get that gal a raise! In a world where I feel like retail is losing its hospitality… The store is not!

Review from 2024: I just had the best shopping experience I’ve ever had at this store. Alyssa and Amy were so helpful and kind. Everyone working there was smiling and seemed genuinely happy to be there, which is so nice to have in a shopping experience. The store was super busy, and yet their system with the dressing rooms was easy and smooth. I had to return a couple things and exchange and use some old store credit I had - all of it went wonderfully. Thank you ladies for making my day!”

“I've already done a review of the Rodd n Gunn store at Manawa Bay, Auckland airport, where the exemplary experience enabled by the staff (Medi and Chaminda) there floored me. It was a continuation of a similar experience at their Tawa store in Wellington with the staff member Rahul being very helpful and courteous.

And now moving across the Pacific to California. I bought (quite a) few pieces for myself and as gifts in New Zealand, before making the hop to.San Francisco. One of them was a gift for someone in the US, and the size turned out to be wrong. I had the receipt, and armed with that I went to this store. I was half expecting it to be a problem, because of it being a different country, different inventory codes, different pricing, etc.
And yet, the manager (?) of the store - Anthony (spelling?) assured me that he'd do all he can after checking options. And he did. He got the size swapped out! I was delighted and relieved - after all, these garments don't come cheap.

And not only that, he went on to guide me about some other product lines very helpfully, informed me of the upcoming 4th of July offers and gave me the option to choose garments which I could pick up at the offer prices when they would go live.

Unbelievable, consistent service quality across countries. Are they all sent to the same training school or something?

I couldn't remember the size I bought last time since it was gift for the same person. He looked up my account and was able to find the size I needed.
