Ojai Valley Inn & Spa is one of those places in Southern California that truly feels like an escape the moment you arrive. The resort itself is impressive in both size and quality. Guests have access to multiple pools, a championship golf course, tennis courts, hiking trails, and one of the most well-known luxury spas in California. The spa alone is massive, offering dozens of treatment rooms, wellness classes, saunas, and relaxation areas designed to help you fully unwind. 
The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a classic California resort style. Many have private terraces with views of the valley, and the bathrooms feel more like something you’d find in a high-end home with large soaking tubs and marble finishes. 
What really stands out, though, is the overall experience. The service is consistently excellent, the grounds are incredibly peaceful, and there are enough restaurants and activities on the property that you could easily spend an entire weekend without leaving. 
It’s definitely a luxury resort and priced accordingly, but if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway not far from Los Angeles or Orange County, Ojai Valley Inn & Spa is one of the most beautiful and well-rounded destinations in California.”

“Pool and hot tub was great. Great location, not too far from downtown area of Ojai. Decor and amenities like the rooftop was such a vibe. Being able to choose DVDs to bring back to your room was such a nostalgic experience. Big bathroom, big room, microwave, silverware and fridge = amazing. Additional package was worth the money. Parking is easy to navigate.”

“Our stay at Caravan Outpost was one of those trips that ended up being even better than we expected. Coming from the city, we wanted something different for the kids, something a little more outdoorsy, relaxed, and memorable. This place delivered. The kids had an absolute blast. For them, staying in an Airstream felt like a real adventure, and they loved every part of it. It was fun watching them get excited about the little things: the setup, the open space, the atmosphere, and just being somewhere that felt completely different from home. As a dad, I really appreciated how easy the whole experience was. The Airstream was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, so it still felt convenient while giving us that unique and novel camping feeling. The property has a great vibe, the location is close to shops, restaurants, and breweries, and everything from check-in to check-out was smooth. We left already talking about when we could come back. This was such a great family getaway, and we’re excited to make it a yearly tradition from now on. We can’t wait to return next year.”

“Incredible stay for an enjoyable long weekend. We had the king suite and the room was incredible and spacious. Very comfortable bed and fantastic tub with a separate shower. The grounds were well kept, the pool lounge chairs were very comfortable.
Pool area situated near the main road so a bit noisy at times but not much can be done about that. Would highly recommend this place for any couples or families looking to get away to Ojai for a few days!”
“We had a wonderful stay at the Emerald Iguana. The place is so beautiful and comfortable. The landscaping is gorgeous with sparkling pool and jacuzzi. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff was so nice and helpful. When there were a couple of minor issues they took such good care. The location is walking distance to so many fun shops and restaurants. There are bikes you can rent to explore the Ojai Vally bike trail. Can’t recommend enough!”

“We are very happy with our stay here.
We got two queen beds accessible room. It’s spacious, very clean and neat.
The toilet has installed a seat riser which my husband (who is 6’8”) really appreciates it!
They use thick plush towels and nice beddings which I really appreciate it!
Great location, about half a mile away from downtown. I walked to most of the restaurants and stores and enjoyed it.
Very friendly and helpful front desk staffs.
They don’t serve breakfast here which is fine. There are plenty great breakfast places. My favorites are The Dutchess and Three birds cafe.”
“Affordable and clean, plus the bed, despite my first impressions, was very comfy. I slept great and that usually isn't the case when I'm away from home. This place is old and has gone through a little refresh at some point, so the rooms are fine but definitely feels dated. The Ventura Music Hall is just a couple minutes walk away and the beach is a 5 minute drive. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Best location and great deal! Easy, quick, and welcoming check-in, being able to hear the waves from my room, having a fireplace, the shower with endless hot water, everything was a great respite during a long trip and after a rough few days. They also give an hour of parking after check out so I was able to get some extra time at the beach.
4 stars for a few reasons; the room had some areas that could have been a little cleaner (dusty areas like behind the tv which I have included a picture of), and as other reviewers have mentioned, the first floor patio is shared which really did take away from my enjoyment of the space. I was woken early to children running around right outside my room, and the family next door took both the patio chairs for my room for their own use. I get that the patio is one long section but think there must be a way to create better barriers so instances like this don't happen. I really think considering this is an aspect of the stay that many reviewers have highlighted, it is worth trying to improve the experience for guests in the future. The bed was super comfortable, but the pillows felt cheap compared and I personally wish they were more plushy and supportive as I had to use 3 of the 4 provided for myself.”

My only negative feedback: If you get an ocean facing view room, be prepared at night to deal with a really bright light on the patio. It’s obnoxious and not comfortable to sit on patio.”

“We had a lovely birthday weekend getaway for my wife. Unfortunately, there was rain the whole weekend. Rooms were lovely and service prompt. It's our second time staying here as it is dog friendly and a great location for many lovely restaurants around Ojai.”
“My girlfriend is employed there at Ojai Valley Inn. And it was.there annual associate of the year party. It was a very nice gathering of employees and there families and friends. A good time for all. Good food, good music, good people.”

“Had a event at the hotel over the weekend. Can't say enough about this place. Checked in friday night, was very pleasantly welcomed by the night time staff especially for being later in the evening. The room was great and spacious.
On to the event-
The room was set up perfectly and looked great. From the linens , to the candles and silverware.. almost didn't want to add our personal touches. The staff was great, very helpful and pleasant and on point.
The FOOD- DEFINITELY the highlight of the evening and probably the most complimented part of the event. Our guest couldn't stop raving about it. We had a mixed culture menu ?? a spanish themed appetizers which consisted of chips and salsa and fresh ceviche which was delicious and I dont even eat ceviche. The main courses were Italian themed, which consisted of 2 types of green salad which were both delicious. Then a pesto pasta, a cheese tortellini which was superb and stood out, 2 types of freshly made pizza which was also very good. Deserts consisted of cannoli's and tiramisu which were both delicious.
The after event- hung out in the lounge/bar area with some friends catching up. Bartenders were on point and drinks were delicious.
The area was spacious with plenty of seating and had the option of being outside by the big fire pit. Also have a very nice koi pond. Thank you to all the staff that helped make this event great.”

“Our stay this past weekend was exceptional! The king room was cozy and the hot tub was a plus. We celebrated my husband’s birthday and everyone was so welcoming and sweet. The best part is the bar and cozy seating area to relax & chat with locals. We will definitely be back and make this our new little home away from . “Outstanding stay for our family reunion! The Clock Tower Inn provided one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The hospitality is unmatched; they make you feel like family the second you walk in. The location is unbeatable—we parked when we arrived and walked everywhere until it was time to check out. The lobby, rooms, and grounds were clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. This place met and exceeded all of our needs. 100% recommend!”

“5 Star!! I was visiting from out of town and had an incredible lunch at the restaurant. Chef William Traynor is AMAZING!!! I strongly encourage anyone who would love a delicious meal to stop here!! The chowder was delicious! We also had fish tacos with watermelon salad. Wonderful experience !!!”

“FYI: the vagabond inn in Ventura California on Thompson boulevard is now being used by the county as temporary housing for individuals you need of a place to stay. It was leased by behavioral health for the next 2 years. This program started in December of 2024. They no longer operate as a motel to the public.”

The manager and owner went out of there way to help me out when I was having issues with my bank.

“First of all, thank you to the family who accepted us as a family?, they have a wonderful child ☺️. We lived there for quite a long time, it was hard to leave the place, but as they say, the vacation is over))) we lived like at home, the staff was smiling and everything was top notch, thanks again ???”
“We were there for surfing and proximity a particular beach was key. We needed to be able to store a 10’ board and two 9’ boards + a beach towel drying rack, wetsuit rack and box fan to dry it all off. Plenty of room for all of it and room to maneuver. Breakfast was great. Place was full every night but we always got parking right in front of our ground floor room. The layout of the property allowed us peace of mind that car break ins would be highly unlikely. Walk to pier. Walk to downtown. Service was always friendly. Room was clean. There’s always things that can be complained about anywhere, but we were super stoked on our stay. Looking forward to coming back again for the next surf trip.”

“We stayed here because my son was graduating and our first day was horrible bad spot over by the homeless rooms to loud smelled like marijuana,had homies on both side of us? next morning we left to mall came back our room was open?thank God he takes care of me and my daughter nothing was touched.so I called front desk and they were very concerned! “The Oakridge Inn was absolutely fantastic. It was very clean with bigger rooms and there was a microwave and refrigerator.
These accommodations were great because I brought own food.
Brett from the front desk, was beyond helpful, courteous and made sure my friend and I were well taken care of.
