“From the moment we arrived at The Magic Castle Hotel we were met with the best hospitality we have ever experienced at a hotel. The staff was wonderful and made our stay exceptional!!
L.A. can be a crazy place, but the chill vibe at The Magic Castle was great to come home too!!
I could sit here a list a million specific reasons why you should choose to stay here, but the moral is, my family felt safe, happy and appreciated and that made our trip unforgettable!!
Thank you to EVERYONE at The Magic Castle Hotel!! You’re the best!!!!”

“My week before my tiny vacation was stressful. I got to the room and the services were all amazing. All staff were helpful and the area was supper clean. Thank you ??”
“Not far from Hollywood Boulevard, this boutique hotel felt like a local hideaway. My corner room had a view of the Hollywood Sign glowing at dusk. The lobby featured vintage vinyl tunes and local art. Staff suggested an excellent taco truck nearby, which became one of my favorite meals. Breakfast had thoughtful flair—fresh pastries, savory scrambles, and friendly conversation included. Quiet, stylish, and full of personality”
“Thank you for a great stay at the Pendry. I’d particular like to thank Adrienne on the Concierge for her friendly welcome and her help throughout my great. She was great. I’d also like to thank D’Lo and Carlos for their customer service, they were also so welcoming. The customer service really made a difference to my 12 days stay. I miss seeing them everyday!”

“Had a great stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfy and quiet. We had a good view on the 4th floor. Things were clean and felt professional. Wish there was a breakfast bar but they did serve coffee and juice 24/7. Also was right in the area we need to be, to go to the event we attended. Plus was close to other food and drink options in walking distance! Overall really great ?”
“The room was exceptional! So beautiful and big and the location was perfect. Close enough to the action and restaurants to walk but tucked in a residential corner so it was peaceful at night! I will definitely be back!”

“We have booked 3 times and its always a great one. Great location, plenty of parking and the Movie nights at pool next to bar are the best. They also have a trolley to Universal.”
“Great location. Could walk to a lot of places we were going to or a short Uber ride. Very clean, very comfortable. Would stay here again.
Walkability: Being next to Ovation was very convenient.”

“Food: 5*
Price: 3*
Service: 5*
Enjoyed the after party for the Joker premiere here on the outside patio. The food was great, well seasoned and ample. The service was excellent. Beautiful views from the outside patio over Los Angeles all the way to Santa Monica.”
“Absolutely beautiful property, I loved the room it was spacious (love love love that), loved the decor. And, the bed was really comfortable. To this hotels management team I'd say that they should look into putting a full length mirror in every room...it's always nice to look yourself over before going out. Also, 2 towels in the bathroom just doesn't cut it for me.”
“1. The room is large and clean
There is also a microwave which is very convenient?
2. The sound insulation is very, very bad⋯⋯⋯⋯
3. Breakfast is included, but there is only one lady serving it, so you need to wait.
4.?️There is a parking lot, the parking fee is 22 per night
5. The location is very good, very close to the Avenue of Stars
But there are many homeless people on the road out of the alley.
Pay attention to your own safety at night”
“What a clean and hip boutique motel. The breakfast pastries were great. The room was perfect for me and my wife. So many restaurants within walking distance. We stayed here a couple of nights to visit Universal Studios and was very pleased with the proximity. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Would stay here again.”

“The London is one of my favorite hotels. Everything about it is perfect, to me. The hotel itself is beautiful. The valet area is surrounded by trees, and I always feel luxurious stepping into the building. Staff is helpful and best of all attentive. I used to frequent Boxwood at The London often with my husband, when it was under Gordon Ramsay's direction. However, I believe it's not associated with him anymore. The last time I ate there the quality of the food just wasn't the same, the beef Wellington tasted a little off. To sum things up, this swanky hotel is worth the pretty penny. Atmosphere is nothing short of opulent.”
“Great Hotel, the location is close to universal studios straight shot to the park really easy to get there. It was not a bad drive to get to Hollywood walk of fame or rodeo drive from this location. The hotel was well maintained very clean and the staff were very polite and had great customer service. We did try the in-room breakfast it was okay”

“My room had an ascetic visual appeal. While feeling a little crowded, studio apartment-ish. The service is adequate. It doesn't seem like anybody's thrilled you're staying there. The overall feeling is your presence is being tolerated. At least from the looks received from staffmembers. The pool is small but usable. Kind of cluttered in, difficult to find privacy. And sunlight to find access at times. All in all, a perfectly adequate place to stay if you want to spend $350 a night rather than $500 at a nice hotel. The location is premier. The Grove, The Farmer's Market. I could stay for three months in that position.”
“All are great. Perfect package to have a free Airport shuttle to and from the airport and a free shuttle to and from Universal Studios. The entire stay was peaceful and amazingly incredible family vacation. Every time we use the pool it’s like a private time just for us family, it was great!! Closer to a lot of eating places. I’d say the Olive’s Bistro Restaurant seems wonderful, however pricing is a bit high. We saved on by getting Uber delivery from multiple breakfast places nearby like IHop and Basecamp. Taco Bell and Pizza Hut are nearby too..can’t go wrong with Nacho fries and pizza -Night snack ?”

“Been here many times over about 5 years. The bar at the pool often has different hours than advertised/ posted and they still don't have room service or food service at the pool according to the staff I spoke to. Sucks because nearly everyone at the pool would order food if they could. This poor valet had to enter my card information by hand because the device they use is broken and management apparently hasn't replaced it. Seemed strange and unfair to them. Also one of the soap dispensers in the bathroom has been broken for many weeks. Sometimes the wood keys don't work, have had to get them replaced minutes after being issued, and the door to the pool deck seems broken from time to time. Hard to get in, or out. With a few small tweaks, i'm sure there r others needed too, would be in 5 star territory. I also think they should hire more valets as there is typically a line/ wait to drop off and to pick up cars even during the day.”
“We stayed one night to celebrate a special occasion. The Montrose is a boutique hotel with limited staff but they do the job. It's ideal for guests who don't need a lot and just want to sleep somewhere quiet but close enough to walk to some action. It's located minutes away from the heart of We Ho. The pool on the roof is enjoyable albeit small. It is more of a sip and dip pool than a swimming pool. They do have comfortable lounge furniture so on a sunny day, it is ideal for a nap before heading out for the evening. The rooms are comfortable and clean and I love the body lotion and shower gel. Parking is expensive $50+ per night so find street parking if you want to save some cash.”

“Great hotel if you’re going to universal studios
The buffet is also very awesome for breakfast
Massage seats near the front desk are very cool
Nearby activities: Universal studios and the mall near it
If you take a 5 minutes uber there are lots of restaurants from across the highway”
“Rooms: Rooms are spacious and well appointed with very comfortable beds
Walkability: Good walkabilty with a few outside restaurants nearby, a Vons grocery store across the street, and coffee shops.
Food and drinks: Great bar area with a food menu. Continental breakfast daily with pastries, bagels, yogurt, cliff bars.”

“Loved this place! You can really feel the history the moment you walk in. Everyone looks at you like you might be a celebrity—which honestly made me feel like one. The decor is iconic and feels like a time capsule, transporting you straight back to the glamour of the 70s. The ambiance is effortlessly cool, with a mysterious, old Hollywood charm you can’t replicate. The room service was excellent—everything arrived quickly and was beautifully prepared.
If you’re looking for a classic LA experience that’s equal parts luxury and nostalgia, this is it. I can’t wait to come back.”
“The Edition in West Hollywood was awesome. The communication we had with the staff score we arrived was all great. The property is all around beautiful. From the decor to its over all looks is amazing. Julio at the front desk was professional, kind and informative. Julio got us checked in and told us a bit about their awesome property. The room was very clean and left us breathless. Don't let me get started on the views. It was very spacious and had exactly everything you need. From amenities to a relaxing couch if you're waiting to go upstairs to their rooftop lounge which I recommend. Over all a very awesome property, definitely see myself staying here again.”

“We travel to LA 4-6 time a year and stay in the Hollywood area. We have experienced many of the hotels in this area and this is my favorite. First we were greeted by the General Manager Mudey, who is simply exceptional. Often in this part of town we experience a lack luster greeting, employees who won’t look you in the eyes, impatience and a general ‘I’m too hip to care’ attitude. It was so refreshing to encounter a confident, positive and gracious person willing to be helpful and kind after a long day of travel. The little things were often anticipated before we had to ask. Mudey really set the tone for our entire visit. The room was immaculate, large, and so very quiet. This area of Hollywood has a lot of activity and can be very loud at night. Cleanliness is everything, and this one was spotless, we really appreciate that! Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful. This is the only hotel that has won my loyalty and made me want to return, I am looking forward to booking our next visit!”

“After reading great reviews online, I recently decided to take a spontaneous trip to Palm Springs and opted to stay at The Dunes Hotel. While I initially considered the Hilton, I found myself deterred by comments about its outdated facilities, prompting me to explore other options. The Dunes stood out with its impressive ratings on Google and Yelp, so I gave it a shot.
When I called the hotel, I spoke with Eric at the front desk, who confirmed that all rooms are non-smoking—definitely a bonus for me. I ended up booking two nights through their website and appreciated the convenience of online check-in.
I drove from Santa Monica and arrived around 8 PM, thanks to traffic. Upon my arrival, Robert greeted me warmly, making the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. I had requested a room near the pool, and they graciously placed me in a lovely second-floor room right in front of the pool.
The room was just what I needed: clean, spacious enough for one (or even two), and pleasantly uncluttered. Perhaps because I visited on a weekday, the hotel was quite empty, which suited my desire for a peaceful retreat. I also had the pleasure of meeting Lindsay, who was friendly and welcoming during my stay.
The location of The Dunes Hotel is a traveler's dream, just a short drive from local coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. The affordable price of $107 a night made it an even more appealing choice compared to the Hilton.
Overall, my stay at The Dunes Hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. It’s an excellent option for solo female travelers! The hotel provided the relaxing atmosphere I was seeking, along with exceptional service and a convenient location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Palm Springs!”
“1. "A flat out diamond in the core of West Hollywood! From the second I ventured into the entryway, I was welcomed with warmth and amazing skill. The rooms are beautifully embellished and flawlessly spotless. The conveniences are first rate, particularly the housetop pool with shocking perspectives on the city. The staff exceeds everyone's expectations to guarantee a critical stay. I strongly prescribe this inn to anybody visiting LA."2. "My visit at Lodging West Hollywood was out and out remarkable. The area is great, near popular shops, cafés, and nightlife. The rooms are open, present day, and very much delegated, offering an agreeable retreat following a day of investigating the city. The on location eating choices are fabulous, serving scrumptious food with flawless assistance. The feature of my visit was most certainly the all encompassing perspectives from the housetop bar. I can hardly hold back to return!"3. "I as of late had the delight of remaining at Lodging West Hollywood and it surpassed my assumptions in general. The tender loving care all through the lodging is exceptional, from the stylish stylistic layout to the lavish sheet material. The staff is inconceivably amicable and obliging, encouraging me at home. The area is top notch, permitting simple admittance to every one of the attractions LA brings to the table. Whether you're going for business or recreation, this lodging is the ideal decision for a noteworthy stay."4. "Lodging West Hollywood sets the norm for extravagance convenience in Los Angeles. The feeling is complex yet welcoming, making an inviting environment from the second you show up. The rooms are carefully outfitted with every one of the conveniences you might actually require, guaranteeing an agreeable and loosening up stay. The housetop pool and bar offer stunning perspectives on the city horizon, making it the ideal spot to loosen up and partake in a mixed drink. The staff's meticulousness and obligation to visitor fulfillment really separates this inn. I can't suggest it exceptionally enough!"5. "From the second I checked in, I was dazzled by the flawless help and meticulousness at Inn West Hollywood. The staff made a special effort to guarantee that my visit was out and out great. The room was perfectly planned and impeccably spotless, giving a rich safe-haven in the core of the city. The area is fabulous, inside strolling distance of a portion of LA's best shopping and feasting objections. Whether you're going for business or delight, Inn West Hollywood is the exemplification of extravagance and complexity."”
“The most nostalgic night I have ever spent in L.A. An episode of Highway Patrol was filmed here in 1956 and some of a Mannix episode in 1969. And in 2020, Mommy Was a Murderer. It has great post-WWII architecture and is of a bygone era. Places like this should be restored by someone who cares.”
