“Ikeda’s is one of those places that has become a destination all by itself. What started as a fruit stand has grown into a unique specialty market, restaurant, bakery, and gift shop all rolled into one. It’s like walking into an indoor farmers market filled with fresh produce, local goods, canned foods, specialty items, and some of the best baked goods around.
On this visit, we stopped for lunch and enjoyed burgers, fries, and shakes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. We’ve also had their pot pies in the past, and they’re always excellent. The quality of the food is consistently good, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back.
Of course, Ikeda’s is famous for its pies, and for good reason. This time we tried the Dutch Apple Pie and the Marionberry Pie, and both were absolutely delicious. The crust was flaky, the fillings were generous, and every bite reminded us why their pies have such a great reputation.
The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are clean and well-maintained. Whether you’re stopping for a meal, shopping for fresh produce, or just grabbing a slice of pie, Ikeda’s is worth the visit.
We’ll definitely be back again—and probably leaving with more pie than we planned on buying!”

Very well organized and just a lot of fun and environmentally friendly products, from laundry items to food, like granola and pasta. Check the website for updates hours, since they sometimes change, especially during holiday weeks. One of our favorite stores in the region.”
“First time I visited this store today, looking for TJ speculoos cookies, cashier helped me find it I was so thankful. Got home ate the quiche broccoli cheddar I got it was awesome quick snack. Looked at my receipt, double charged for trail mix crackers $3.49. She did not put 2 qty, she swiped the item twice. I was so disappointed. Contemplated should I go back drive out again for 6.5 miles. I said nah, that is my donation to you Trader Joe's. Trans 15243, Date today 2/22/2016, 15:46; store 0070, Till 1. “This is my local store. Very friendly staff. Clean operation. This store just seems to have less stock and variety as other stores in the area. Rocklin and Auburn seem to have a lot more stock and options on the shelves. But it's close and convenient and prices are nice!”

“I had their chicken burrito today and it was huge and the wettest burrito that I’ve ever had (much better than a dry one) but I thought it was too big and had too much stuff in it. It fell out of the tortilla as i was eating so I had to re-wrap using the foil. Very tasty.”

This past Sunday I had the BEST experience from these 3; started with the warm and energetic greeting from Hunter at the Spicy Popcorn tasting to the helpful explanation and recommendations from Christian in the deli dept; topped with the EXCEPTIONAL leadership from Allison when there was a slight error in pricing.
Overall, this team made my extremely loooong and taxing day, as I taking care of people for 8hrs prior to stopping in, FABULOUS!

Foothill Market stocks: Liquid Gravity, Sudwerk, Revision, Crooked Lane, Big Sexy, Altamont, New Glory, Bullmastiff, Tower, Black Plague, Dust Bowl, Pliny, ect... The best feature of this store is, you can buy a single beer or receive a 5% discount on a mix and match four pack. I would recommend checking the dates on the craft beer before you purchase them. “I want to give shout out to Crystal from deli meat department, I requested her to change her gloves for religious reasons and she went above and beyond to give customer service to me. Not only she cleaned the entire meat cutting machine; she opened new chicken since previous one sat on that machine that cut ham. Safeway please retain these kind of employees who not only provide the best customer service but also show respect towards the culture needs of customers. In spite of being alone at the counter on Friday evening, she had smile on her face and the right attitude in her voice. Crystal should be employee of the month!”

“Having no services in Plumas Lake except gas station traveling to shop is a Beeech!!! So the trip to Lincoln is pretty easy. And this safeway is in a very nice location. Very clean and the employees are very helpful. The drive was less than 30 min. Many other services in this shopping center.”
