“We were thrilled to have found this furniture store. It's well managed by friendly folks. They put so much care to their work.
They have a great selection of MCM furniture. And they get shipment from Denmark regularly. We were able to find dining chairs with awesome design. The chairs look amazing after we did upholstery.
Their prices are fair. They can be used without reconditoning.
For us, it was worth the drive of three hours to get to Sacramento.”

“I love this place! I discovered it a couple of years ago and have been popping in here and there ever since. I have a collection of oddities, and the Altar Room always has products that I can add to my collection. The vibe here is cool--you walk in the door, and it feels like you've entered a secret lair (in the best way possible). I believe this location is sometimes available to rent for events, and I've definitely considered booking the space. The owner is so sweet and kind, and I've chatted with her multiple times as I've shopped. It's a great experience every time I visit.”

The proprietor, Tom, is incredibly knowledgeable about the inventory and lighting, and he is more than happy to share the fascinating provenance of his pieces. The shop features an amazing array of inventory, ranging from British hunting lodge decor to rare Far East treasures, as well as vintage South American Santo statuary and Buddhist art. It is the perfect place to discover unique items you never knew you needed. Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional statement pieces!”
