“My 2018 Hyundai Sonata began to shake while driving so I called Mike. As always, he was friendly and accommodating and allowed me to bring the car right in although I suspect he was pretty backed up at the moment I called.Mike and his team gave stellar service as always. Something I really appreciate is that Mike calls me every step of the way and explains exactly where we're at in the repair process and details all of the various options I have. It's evident through his actions that Mike always acts with his mind on the financial impact of every potential action during the repair process and does everything he can to save my wife and I money. I was also grateful that he provided me photos of all he did throughout the repair and was patient enough to bear with me through detailed explanations of technical automotive functions of which I have minimal knowledge if any and never talked down to me but took the time to make sure I understood what he was saying.It turned out that my car was shaking due to carbon buildup in the engine (a common issue in GDI engines like the one in my 2018 Sonata). The exhaust and intake manifold had to be dissected so that the carbon could be cleaned, and I elected to also receive a valve job to ensure maximum efficiency and longevity. Mike and his team changed the oil and even washed my car before giving it back to me and I can tell you it was not the shop's fault my car was dirty, I brought it in that way. “I've driven past this shop 1000 times, and when my college age kids come back for Thanksgiving , they always tell me that the cars need an oil change or a smog or something, and I have to scramble to meet their schedules and mine. So these guys were super friendly and super reasonable, and the smog was completed before I realized, even though there were a few people ahead of me when I got there originally, the smog went super quick. I'm definitely not going anywhere else for smog again. I also made an appointment to have them service my son's Hyundai early next week as well. I tried to call the Hyundai dealer for an appointment since the car has a 100,000 mile warranty in case they find anything wrong but they don't even answer their phone. For maintenance things, I'd rather not pay the dealer prices anyway, so I'll follow up on how the service goes since I'm bringing in the car for the first time, but I'm hopeful I found my go-to mechanic shop. (Just moved to San Bruno three years ago and know how important a good mechanic shop is, and they are hard to find, so fingers crossed!)”

My older car started giving me problems and Tony was honest and told me to get what I could from the car,not to put money in the car in the state it was in and put money in a newer car. I did just that. I brought a 99 Chevy to Tony and he did fixed it and took the time to call around for me for a problem that Tony doesn't specialize in. “Replaced an old 2018 battery at O'Reilly and they ran a diagnostic test resulting in bad diodes on the alternator. Called different shops for a quote to replace an alternator, belt, rotors and brakes. Aki gave the best price compared to other shops I called. He tested the new battery voltage and didn't find any issues. He was real honest and didn't want me to spend all the money to replace the alternator because the voltage was good. We agreed to drive it for a while and keep an eye on the voltage of the new battery. If it remains at a good voltage, he suggested not to change the alternator. If it drops, Aki recommended to bring it in to replace the alternator. While the car was there, I had all the brakes and rotors replaced. The car is running great so far. Will definitely come back for all other services for our Acura. Great work. Honest. Best prices. Professional. Authentic. Personable.”

“Rico is a stand up and great mechanic. He took a look twice at my trans on my Chevy Colorado. Rather than charge me $500 for a flush and filter change he was able to find the issue with the muffler. He could’ve gone about it many ways but I would highly recommend his shop for transmission needs. He cares about the customers coming through”
