“The ladies here are absolutely beautiful wonderful and awesome and have the kindest souls. This store has almost every type of crystal and rock you can think of. From rocks to herbs and sage and candles to clothing and books. This is one of my most favorite stops in San Francisco on Haight st. The customer service and all around vibe in the store is wonderful. I recommend going here and I can almost guarantee you will come out of the store with a lifted attitude and spirit. There's also a space where you can sit and meditate! Super awesome!”
“Small gift shop with lots of cute, curated goods! I was able to purchase some goodies for friends. They also had tiny prints each available for $1 in quarters. You can Venmo the store and they will give you quarters for the machine!”
“I’m a licensed contractor and use to purchase building materials and tools from the Discount Builders Supply. I shop there 3, 4 times a day. The people who are working there are friendly and helpful. Every time when I get there I feel like meeting friends.

“We were able to get the exact sectional we wanted w Richard’s help and great customer service, despite being in Wisconsin. Our local furniture store carries Jonathan Louis furniture but for some reason could not secure the one we wanted. We’re thankful to Richard for making it happen all the way across the country. Our living space is so comfortable and beautiful since we added it to our home early this year.”

“Inga was a great help in selecting fixtures for an entire home while we were preparing it for sale last year. She made what could have been an overwhelming task so much easier, with her expert suggestions. I know from experience there is a lot that can go wrong with selecting light fixtures... from not enough light, to wrong scale, and more. Inga kept us from making costly mistakes, and the project turned out great. The customer service was excellent, and there's nothing like being able to see the actual fixtures in person at the store before you order them. Inga helped us pick out at least 12 sets of lights, and we didn't have to return or change any of them. When a glass shade was broken for one of the fixtures, she got us a replacement quickly. I highly recommend using Inga's design services. For a larger project like ours, she might visit your site in person. Otherwise, you will need to send her photos.”

“Yesterday, my husband and I stopped by Yury's to see if he could replace the cord on an old Hollywood Regency/Chinoiserie accordion fan lamp. I had accidentally dropped a heavy water bottle on it, breaking the cord in half. Yury was very friendly and helpful, and he was transparent about pricing. His estimate for just replacing the cord was so reasonable that we also decided to have him update the lightbulb socket and add velvet underneath the lamp to prevent it from scratching our furniture. He completed all the work in under three hours, and we picked it up later in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and plan to bring in another old lamp to have the wiring updated.”

“10/4/2024: I'd been looking forward to visiting Succulence for months, ever since my plant collection exploded with a particular fondness for succulents. I happened to be in the Bernal Heights neighborhood, so decided to finally check them out. Unfortunately, when I arrived I discovered a karate school at the address listed for Succulence. A lady inside told me they had been closed since sometime in June.
The owners have responded to other comments, stating that despite the closure of their brick and mortar store you can still contact them regarding workshops and other events. Closing a business is incredibly difficult, and I'm glad to hear they're still up and running (even if it's at a reduced capacity). To those leaving negative reviews because they arrived to find the store closed: stop. For you it's a minor inconvenience, but for the owners it's so much more. That said, it would be helpful if they added a banner on the website's homepage letting customers know the physical store closed. I wish them the best with their future ventures, and hope I get the opportunity to visit another Succulence location someday.”

“One of the best Incense vendors in USA. Seriously. They have very high quality incense, especially for people who don’t like the incense because it’s ‘Smokey’ - that’s because most incense sold is low quality.
The lady who runs the store guides you through the collection and has great tips on how to get the best out of incense.
Great for gifts as many of the products have lovely packaging.
One of the best finds when in San Francisco.”

“The final purchase to make our newly remodeled kitchen complete was the dining table and chairs. After scouring countless stores we found the perfect furniture at BoConcept SF. We decided on the New York dark oak wood veneer table with two luxurious leather Hamilton swivel chairs. The high quality, chic design, and comfort of these additions to our kitchen escalated the envisioned plan to its max. We had a great experience at the shop and appreciated Soren's patience and knowledge throughout the process. The delivery/assembly team was considerate and exceeded our expectations with their professionalism.

“Got 2 basket planters here for $22 each that was perfect for my large plants. They did not have a large selection of plastic grow pots or drainage trays (minus 1 star), but nice pots and very kind attendant. Also had a good selection of basket planters that were handwoven but a little out of budget for me.

The store is groovy, I admit that. It's got all the requisite '70s rock merch. It's well arranged, it's colorful, it's psychedelic, it's pretty. But it hurts my soul a little bit that all this stuff is marked up to hock to tourists.
Still, there's probably no better place on the block to get Jimi Hendrix jammies for your toddler, so do with that information what you will.”
