Major is ofcourse a celebrity haha, although when I was there both Major and Gaza was having a nap but he was more than happy to take pictures with some snack bribery ?

“This store is awesome! Although it's located in a tough neighborhood, and some from their customer base are unpredictable, the store employees maintain a level of helpfulness and professionalism which makes shopping with them very pleasant. The store is well stocked with such a varied selection of grocery items you would think they needed are larger places. The prices for their store items are not inflated as such is the case with some stores close to that location. Very nice and attentive staff. You won't be disappointed after shopping at Amigos.”
“Growing up in SF in the 80s and 90s this was one of the few middle eastern grocery stores around so we shopped here a lot. It's a different story today with many stores to choose from but the selection of products here is almost unmatched. The olive station in the back is amazing go check it out! Food is fresh and pans the Arab world. The Owen's are all good people, friendly and helpful. They also have a fresh halawa (halva) section that they slice and wrap for you. Right before you walk in you are hit with an array of spice smells that transports you to another world. Gives them a try and they just might become your go to middle eastern grocery spot.”
“Downtown Grocery on Eddy St. (between Jones and Taylor St). is my #1 choice of grocery stores in my area. I shop there just about every day.They have everything you need. But what I like the most and is a game changer for me is and overall niceness. I highly recommend this store to everyone. the employees very, very nice people who treat their customers with respect, greeting when you walk through the door and well wishes when you leave. “The staff is very pleasant. Cashier P, Bethany, very smiling and asked me how I was. This never happens in France. They say hello, thank you, goodbye. However, I have been frequenting certain stores for years. The first time the cashier was also nice. Thanks to them. In addition there is choice and the products are fresh. For the prices, they seem correct to me, because I don't live in the USA”

“This was the most delicious sandwich I’ve ever had. I got The Sunset sandwich and every bite was so flavorful I had no choice but to finish the whole thing. I’m not from this city but I would move here so I could eat this weekly.
I also love that they have a gluten free option to turn any sandwich into a salad for people who might need that.”

“The only Sandwich I’ve ever been to where they put “too much” on a “regular sandwich”. But that’s the thing these sandwiches ARE NOT REGULAR. The sandwiches are hefty and full of flavor. The possibilities are also endless.
On this particular visit I got the #20 and removed the roast beef. It was a very good sandwich. The next time I might try it with the roast beef instead of the pastrami get a different taste on the same sandwich.

“Bigger than the TJ's by my house in Oakland this location is more of what you've come to love about Trader Joe's. A very busy location during peak hours so prepare to wait in line to check out, but the line moves quickly. Friendly staff, very accommodating.”

“This market is one of the best deli/grocery /produce markets that I have ever come across! I live in the area and I will go only to this market because of the deli sandwiches hands down #1 and they offer whatever you would like on it and they make it very special and specific. The quality is priceless and the flavors are amazing. I have been coming here for more than 15 years and I'm always blown away of the service/quality and the items they offer in their store. Their location is perfect because they are always on the way to where you need to go, whether to the airport or just around town, it's so convenient. I recently have been there at least 4 times during the week to bring food to the nearby hospital CPMC for my family members visiting from France and locally and their experience was off the charts. Rutily's market is the place to go for everything you need.”

“Small but affordable and convenient. One line that went all the way to the back of the store. But, it was down the frozen isle which kept my colds cold and chilled my drink for me. 5 open registers and got to the front in 5min at most. Free parking which seems to always have available spots. The four stars is only because of how small the store is and I like to shop at the chain.”

If you're into cooking classic Asian dishes, you can find almost everything you need here without leaving duboce triangle! “This charming market is a perfect spot to pick up some Korean groceries and enjoy a quick meal. The prices are quite fair for a quick lunch or dinner, although a few of the ban chan items were a bit pricey. I absolutely loved the Korean fried chicken and the gimbap!”
“One of my favorite local grocery stores in SF. Have been coming here since it was the small location on Noregia. The upgrades they did for the market are incredible. The meat case always has a great selection, especially around the holidays. The sandwiches are a hit or miss, but I do appreciate that they have a punch card system. There is both street parking and underground parking.”

After being unwell for over three weeks with a stomach virus, I forced myself to make the 30-minute walk to this Trader Joe's location to stock up on groceries. I am so grateful I chose this store!
From the moment I walked through the doors, every team member I encountered was professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful. In today's retail environment where mediocre service is the norm, this level of care was truly refreshing.
Special Recognition for Éle:
I want to highlight an exceptional floor associate named Éle, who was stocking in the frozen food section. Despite being clearly busy with her tasks, she took the time to patiently answer my many questions about various frozen products. What impressed me most was her complete focus and attention - she maintained eye contact throughout our conversation and never seemed rushed or distracted.
Éle's genuine engagement made me feel valued as a customer, which honestly made me want to purchase more items. Her outstanding customer service perfectly embodies Trader Joe's Mission Statement and Core Values of integrity, community care, and providing exceptional value.
I was so impressed that I spoke with the manager to commend Éle's performance. Her sales skills and genuine decency are exactly what make Trader Joe's stand out from other grocery stores.
