“This complex is fairly old, but pretty and pleasant. I give it four stars because the rent is so high.

But Vanessa is a five-star member of the office staff. She worked very hard on a recent problem we had that involved sorting out a parking problem after we accidentally signed a lease without checking that our parking situation was what we’d expected.

Vanessa is a really good problem-solver. She’s a key reason why we plan to renew our lease when the time comes.”

“An oasis of peace in San Jose. Its so blissful to live here. There are giant redwoods, blooming flowers, immaculately clean pool, jacuzzi and a fitness center. They could have easily added more floors and made the property more crowded but they rather preferred preserving the "resort-like" ambience. While the maintenance team is passionate about their job, Luu is the star of the show. Theresa-the property manager is so courteous and always willing to help with a smile. I lived here for 2 years and was bummed to move out due to change of job to another city. I'd definitely live here again if I am back to San Jose.”

“Been here for 2 years and what makes the difference for me is how the management goes above and beyond to take care of the tenants and the building. The ladies at the leasing office have been above and beyond helpful when it comes to things like delivery, packages and inquiries. The property has also got a beautiful lounge by the pool area which I often take advantage of for WFH.”

“The progress of applying and moving in was easy and simple The staff is really friendly and listens to your concerns. Robin is very friendly and kind if you have questions she will do her best to answer them for you. I had some concerns that Jay Austin ended up helping me out with. Jay was patient and took the time to explain all the details she’s amazing and does her best to assist you in any way possible even if she doesn’t have the answers at that moment she’ll come back later and answer it for you. Overall the transition of moving was very successful

“The only thing wrong is not enough parking otherwise it is great. There are hiking trails and biking trails galore. it is at the end of town with easy freeway acc and grocery and gas in walking distance. The pool and commons area are clean and well maintained. I have really liked living here.”

“I have been living Santana Heights over 15 yrs. I love Santana Row, a taste of Europe, with its cobblestone streets, plethora of outdoor seating, and fountains. It's the perfect for after work yoga class, outdoor shopping, dining, live music & more.

During the past yrs, the staffs in the leasing office were changed many times and there were so much happened.

However, I would like to acknowledge Nick Tran, assistant manager for his recent help throughout the renew lease processing & follow up the maintenance team to get repair service completed promptly. His expertise and professionalism that makes the difference.

“The place is nice and the staff that have been here for years have been great. One of the best parts about living here used to be the community events like the holiday parties and monthly breakfast where we met a lot of our neighbors. Sara, Toni and the rest of the staff clearly put a lot of effort into those, however the events have stopped which I guess was probably a money saving move. There’s also no more free overnight parking for guests, which is annoying. Other than that, the maintenance has always been speedy and effective, and the location next to Whole Foods and a short walk from San Pedro is unbeatable.”

“A great place to live...I have lived here for over a decade and chose the complex because it was within 2 miles of my work. Just coming here from a Condo in Santa Clara and having all the amenities of Condo life, which include gated entrance, garage, in unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, deck, pool, hot tub, gym, great maintenance crew and super awesome management (shout out Jenny & Lina) If you are looking for place to dwell for a reasonable price in the land of crazy rents THIS IS THE PLACE!PS. The mature, well maintained landscaping and lots of trees are a bonus too!”

“I love this place. The co-ordinates are aligned.I don't know who these dementia laden people are who have the balls/stupidity to complain, but THIS is to THEM. Get your butt into your thankfully very low rent, yet extraordinarily extremely high life apartment closet (of which ALL 3 ARE ROOMY ENOUGH TO FIT YOU!), get down ON YOUR KNEES in PRIVATE & THANK GOD (whatever God you thank or whatever you choose to call God!) & then ask FORGIVENESS for being so thick headedly ungrateful, promise to do better, DO BETTER & then LISTEN!Prayer is LISTENING! Not BITCHING! LISTENING, kids! Do I have to be a nanny FOREVER?????”

“I am living here since 3+ years now. Best experience with manager, work orders, everything. Location is very convenient. Apartments are spacious, well lit and have cross ventilation which is a BIG + point. Also buildings are clean and well maintained. Manager Dina is very helpful and understanding person. :)”

“If you’re someone who’s learning how to become more independent, and self-sufficient I think you might thrive in this community. When I moved here two years ago, I was ready to start living my new life and what made it a bit less scary was the kindness and generosity that my neighbors have shown me. Whether casually passing by in the lobby, striking up a conversation with neighbors on the elevator, to distracting the mail-lady when she stops by Vintage Towers on her route this community will make you feel like you belong. If you do live here, I’m certain that no matter where you are on your journey, you’ll look back on your stay here with gratitude for all the experiences you’ve had and in one of San Jose’s most involved areas.”

The maintenance staff in particular requires special mention. Omar, in particular, has helped us out multiple times and is a pleasure to talk to. “We've lived here for a few months in an Alexander Unit. The 5 stars is for the staff, especially the maintenance crew, although I'd give the overall apartment complex 4 stars. The 5 stars:- the maintenance staff are responsive, fast at their work, and very friendly and professional- FRANCISCO, in particular, came to help fix a shower issue recently and was friendly, patient as I badly explained the issue, and quick with the repair. He's also great with cats. - NICK at the office is skilled at his job and similarly patient with my concerns. I misinterpreted the visitor parking situation and he was polite and understanding as he explained how visitor parking works. He was also upfront with some of the downsides of the complex and what the company is doing to address those shortcomings when we asked when we first toured the complex. - apartments have heat pumps which are much more environmentally friendly than traditional heating/cooling devices. Makes me happy. - pet friendly! Lots of dogs and cats!!- one laundry room with 5-6 washers and dryers PER FLOOR (at least within the H, I, and J buildings)The less than 5 stars:- pulling out of the complex can be a bit nerve wracking, especially when school is in session- internal hall ways leading to the apartment is very stuffy and warm, especially in the summer time- airflow/cross breeze within Alexander apartments is non-existent- bedroom window faces the wall of the closet which does not help with the lack of airflow- no bike storage at the complex - would love to see that installed either in a common outside area or within the entry ways of certain buildings- the on-site laundry machines are rarely cleaned (a common issue with contracting laundry machine operations)- occasional noisy neighbors even through the double pane windows (although usually shut it down by 11 PM)- there are occasional issues with unhoused folks being in the community and car break ins - the staff is working to address these concerns, but your comfort with this may vary”

“The Delmas Park Apartments in San Jose are a decent option for those looking for an affordable living arrangement. While the apartments themselves are nothing to write home about, they provide the basic necessities for comfortable living. Don't expect any fancy amenities, but you will have access to laundry facilities and a small parking lot.The location of the complex is relatively convenient, with easy access to 280 and 87 freeway, public transportation and nearby stores and restaurants. However, the neighborhood can be a bit noisy and congested at times, so be prepared for some traffic and street noise.Overall, the Delmas Park Apartments are a suitable choice for those on a budget who don't require a lot of frills. The apartments are clean and well-maintained, but don't expect any luxury amenities or features.”

“I have been living there for 5 months and everything is very nice, the maintenance people as soon as you tell them something that doesn't work, they immediately go and fix it, very quiet place, nice and people don't mess with you, they are quiet neighbors!”

“The best spot for a weekend brunch. They do have long wait times. Generally 30-40mins on a weekend, but the food and the ambience is worth the wait. The have great cocktails, Benedicts and omelettes. Highly recommended”
