“Each one of the staff was so helpful they went above and beyond to help us out especially the manager of the store I forgot his names but he has long hair and make a pony he’s super super nice . We had the best experience in buying our first electric bike. Thanks so much guys we really appreciate your help.”
“I bought a pair of shoes at the store, the staff were very nice to answer my questions. The store has a wide selection of tennis racquets and accessories. Would recommend to any tennis enthusiast.”
“Charlie Rose is amazing!
Jake goes above and beyond every time we come in. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Jake was able to get my son’s gloved relaced so fast before the weekend.”
“Very specialized shoe store. They don't have the typical walking and sports brands you hear about. If you either work in the medical industry, or you have a specific medical condition though, you will have heard some of them. Everything here is top-notch!”
“I had a great experience at Big 5! The employee who helped me was super knowledgeable and friendly. They guided me to the perfect bag for carrying my shotguns and made the whole process quick and easy. Appreciate the excellent service”
“Bullseye seems to be a LGS that is somewhat recommended for PPT in the South Bay and today is the first time I've been there. It's surprisingly busy for a small store but then almost all the LGS can be somewhat busy. The plaza is very small and parking can be difficult. Also be careful when you back out because you have to back out into the main street.
The store is not very big and it's mostly catered towards newer guns as it has a small used/consignment section.
People are nice enough and they didn't quell when you do PPT there. They don't charge extra for PPT but they do charge 3% extra for credit card.
I found the price of the guns there to be slightly expensive so I wouldn't say this is a good place for deals. The form you fill out for DROS is online and you do it on your phone with a QR code. It's pretty cool but can be hard if you have a small phone.”
“These guys are the best! Sharks Pool Tables has been taking care of my pool table since 2020, and they’ve been incredible every step of the way.
I had to move twice during COVID, and they were always there to help with disassembly and setup. When I decided to upgrade to Simonis felt, they did an amazing job. Then we moved again, and once again they set everything up perfectly.
Most recently, I had water damage in my home and tried moving the table myself—which was a mistake. I pushed it too hard and snapped the legs, and I was sure the table was beyond repair. I called Sharks Pool Tables, and they completely came through. They replaced the legs, installed new pockets, and reassured me the entire time. Danny personally told me it would be fixed, and he was right.
They called ahead before arriving, told me the job would take two hours, showed up at 11 a.m., and were completely finished by 1 p.m. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for this team. My table looks amazing, and I’m so proud of it again.”
“My go-to surplus store. I've made it a point to drop by every couple of months to see what's new.
A lot of stock tends to sit for a bit and doesn't seem to get marked down, so if you're in the market for a specific article, double check what it's going for online.
However, they tend to get more unique uniforms and equipment than just your standard USGI kit. But whatever your fancy, be it airsoft, collection, or reenactment, you may just find what you need here.
On top of that, it's also a large workwear store. You can find a lot of popular brands in multiple sizes and variance to fit your scope of work.
The staff are great too. They'll let you know if a certain item isn't eligible for return and are more than happy to help you find the right fit for your gear.”
“It was cool. Downside though, I waited in line to purchase ammo for literally 3hrs no lie June 30th the day before the tax increase just to be told I couldn't buy any with just my firearms license and drivers license. Even though I own guns, go to tue fun range and have bought ammo before with just my license and firearms license. She said that's a san jose rule but idk just a heads up”

“Quite possibly the best buying experience I have ever had. I first walked in here recently to find my wedding suit - Jim was the first person to come up to me and led me to this beautiful blue suit. After viewing a few others I knew the first suit he picked was perfect for me. That day I didn't buy that suit because I wanted to see what alternatives were out there. There's a lot of good suit places in San Jose, but nothing quite like Eli Thomas.. Jim and his staff were so friendly and attentive and know exactly how your suit should look. I ended up coming back to see if I can order that exact suit, which at the time wasn't in my size. To my amazement Jim had the right sized suit ordered, shortly after my first visit, and it arrived the time I came in. Jim is a very confident sales man, and rightfully so.. it shows in the level of rapport and trust. Highly recommend buying your next suit from this store - my suit looks excellent!”
“The best REI in the South Bay—and the only one I shop at! The staff here are always friendly and patient, which makes every visit a good experience. The only improvement I can think of that will improve customer experience is to display more shoes in popular sizes, so customers can try them on and decide whether or not to buy without having to look for a staff member to try on shoes their size. Hiking and running are extremely popular activities in South Bay and on some weekends the shoe department is packed with people and staff members can look pretty stressed out.
They carry a wide selection of clothing and gear for hiking and camping, so I can almost always find what I need. Best of all, their return policy is consistent with REI’s guidelines, so I never have to worry about unexpected rules or hassles when making a return or exchange. Keep up the great work!”

“This was my first time visiting Japantown and found this great store with so many Japanese items. Arlene, the owner, showed us how to fold origami hats that can be used as bookmarks. I was curious about how a kimono is worn and Miko spent time dressing me in a kimono and explaining each step. There was another lady there that was nice. I came out with knowledge about the kimono and Japanese style and with a beautiful tsuzumi pillow. I highly recommend this gem of a store!”
“I came in earlier today to check out the soccer equipment and a worker named Angelina was very kind and helpful and suggested the right items for what I was looking for”
“I went there to repair my Preeti Mixie and also bought a lid for my Mixie jar. The total cost was $25 ($10 for the lid and $15 for the repair). The service was quick—max 10 minutes. It’s a great place with excellent service. I definitely recommend it for repairs and for buying Indian mixies and wet grinders. The owner was friendly and courteous”
“Nice shop with great customer care. Had holes drilled in 3 different balls at different days and very pleased with results. Try the coffee shop on your waynout or as you wait for your bowling ball. Great food!”
“I got a snap-back from my GodSon, for my birthday, earlier this year and preferred a fitted. Raymond helped me and had no issue with me exchanging the snap-back for a fitted. Got a new Lid and I'm good to go. I appreciate the willingness to allow an exchange a little late and Raymond had impeccable customer service. I highly recommend this location.”
“Ok, seriously, the best team work here! Shout out to Liz and Sarah! I came in knowing that I wanted the Keb trousers because I have the winter version and absolutely loved it. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Sarah and asked if I needed anything. She recommended trying on the pants even though I love the winter version that I have. Lo and behold she was right, the regular Keb pants are nothing like the winter version, which I was so disappointed by. They continued to recommend other models which I just wasn’t a fan of after trying them out. Liz then recommended the men’s Vidda Pro Lite. Well, guess what, they were PERFECT! I can not say enough good things about Sarah and Liz. The people really make a huge difference and paired with good products, you would have very happy customers :)
I also got the Abiko hip bag which fit amazingly and have lots of room for snacks and drink bottle and I’m so looking forward to take her hiking with me!!! Thank you so much <3”
“I purchased a R&R outdoor table from Simon at Billiard Wholesale and the process was great. Simon was super responsive and the table looks great. I'd highly recommend them.”
“Incredible service:D my first time buying online from the Sharks Pro Shop & I'm very happy with the merchandise:D Everything was well packed & protected, got a really good price for everything:D I'm a Canadian customer & hopefully one day I can make it to a game at the Shark Tank, its definately on my bucket list:D To the Sharks team store staff thank you so much, you guys are awesome!:D Turn up the Tank!:D Lets Go Sharks!:D”
“It's just like any other Big 5 store, but customer service at this location tends to be very good, sometimes they are a bit busy, but for the most part their attitude is always positive and helpful.”
“Great deals and prices.
They stayed open when all the power was out a couple weeks ago to make sure the neighborhood at lanterns, flashlights, batteries, and cooking stuff. The store had no power either but they took us one by one to find what we needed.
Above and beyond service.”
“Reuben (the salesperson) was really helpful and really friendly. He was also VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. I had a fantastic experience. Will definitely be going back to make more jersey purchases!”
“Famous Footwear at Westgate Center offers a good mix of brands, making it easy to find shoes for various styles and needs. My family had a smooth experience browsing and purchasing footwear, with staff assisting with sizing when needed.
The pricing was competitive for an outlet, and checkout was quick, making this store a hassle-free option for shoe shopping.”
“Didn’t expect to walk into this place and get hyped, but here we are. YETI makes tough gear and this location showcases it well. Coolers, tumblers, bags, all in different colors and setups. Great for anyone who camps, hikes, or just likes to keep drinks cold for 12 hours straight. I grabbed a Rambler and the cashier talked me into a lid upgrade I didn’t even know I needed. Solid service and the stuff here really lasts.”
“I went for a tube for my fixie, needed 700 series the staff help me find what I was looking for. But what I really liked was a person ahead of me in line was having trouble with a coupon on her phone we've all been there but the cashier was nice and helpful and together they scanned the coupon...
I'm not sure of her name but that was good costumer service .. something a lot of stores are forgetting about!!!!”
“I purchased running belt on April and after two months of running, the zipper has some issues. I went to the store this morning. Manny help me exchange a new belt less than five minutes. Great customer service!!!”
“This place is fantastic. Crystal help me out at the register and she also signed me up for the famous footwear program. She has amazing customer service. Really friendly and made the experience very enjoyable. I will definitely be recommending this place and will be coming back for sure. On a side note, this place is got great deals. If you're looking to just get a good pair of shoes and not have to worry about long lines, this place is awesome”
“Steve is the Guru when it comes to the equipment, been golfing for 26 years and the man taught me a couple things I didn't know, very knowledgeable and personable! I will be coming back just because of STEVE!”
“The new location is in a good location. Great place to come to get some consistency with all this rain. Cage prices are reasonable. Bummed though that the 80/90 mph cage is down.”
