“Excellent and quick service! I came in to get my passport pictures taken and had a wonderful experience. The beauty representative went above and beyond by helping me apply concealer to cover my acne before the photos. The photo representative was also incredibly friendly and let me choose the best picture that met the passport requirements. The entire process was very quick, and I was in and out in no time. Highly recommend this location!”

“My 2month old daughter had to undergo surgery, and I needed to get antibiotics that is uncommon. The medicine I needed was out of stock in this pharmacy and many others. Pharmacists here who worked on Tuesday September 9th, around 6:30PM voluntarily called 10+ pharmacies to check if they had any, and worked this out for me to pick it up from there. I was able to get the medicine i needed with their help. Walmart is lucky to have responsible, empathetic, and talented employees like them. I appreciate your help.”

“Love Walgreens, it's my neighborhood store for just about everything... prescriptions, candy, greeting cards, gift cards, having photos printed, passport photos, and more.”

“The service here is always so great. Levi basically sees me in line and has my medication‘s pulled as I’m approaching the counter. They’re always so great here and I feel lucky so close to my house.”

“Had to get passport photos and stopped by Walgreens. Went in the morning so line wasn't too big. They took my pictures, processed, and printed my photos pretty fast! Will use them again.”

“This is the best pharmacy that I’ve used in the area (compared to CVS / target cvs and Walgreens, etc.) There’s never a huge line and there’s always someone to help you. They just extended their hours starting to open at 9 AM which is great. Their pharmacists are friendly and good- explaining things well and engaging. Cindy even remembered my daughter from earlier in the week and asked how she was doing which was pleasantly surprising. I go here a lot and it feels like a local pharmacy even though its Costco. I’ve found the techs are efficient, communicative and friendly which has become rare in the Bay Area.”

“This five star has to do with one single person at the CVS. Her name is.Salbi. What a wonderful personality and the reason I would return to the store. She is always friendly, kind and helpful.”

“Over the past few days, couponing has been both challenging and meaningful for me. It has served as a way to keep my mind off personal struggles, and I truly enjoy the happiness it brings—especially when I’m able to donate the items I save to others in need.

Unfortunately, some recent experiences at various stores have been discouraging. I encountered instances of rude customer service, where it felt as though couponers were viewed with resentment, almost as if we were doing something wrong or taking money out of employees’ paychecks. In some cases, policies seemed to be created on the spot to prevent the use of coupons. Just the other day, a cashier took my coupon and stated that only the store could decide whether it could be used, saying this in front of other customers. It was quite embarrassing and disheartening.

However, my experience at the Walgreens store in Santa Clara was the complete opposite. I would especially like to recognize Joyce, who has assisted me not only today but on previous visits as well. She has always been welcoming and genuinely happy for me when I save money. When my Catalina coupon printed, she even shared in my excitement. Her kindness and positive attitude made me feel valued rather than like a burden.

Customers should never feel as though they are pestering a store simply because they are using coupons. Couponing requires significant time and effort, and Joyce’s simple gesture of support truly made my day.

Thank you, Walgreens, for having such an outstanding employee. Joyce’s exceptional customer service reflects the values of your company and makes a lasting difference in the customer experience.”

“I have recently had to frequent the pharmacy for my parents medications. As I wait in line I will sometimes see haggard, impatient, and frustrated customers. I am impressed with the staff as they don't seem to take it personal as customers misguided frustrations or even sadness and grief and chronic pain spill over to them in an unfair way. I have only seen patience and empathy for a job that I suspect rarely gets the affirmation it deserves. I wrote this review as a response to the misguided low star ratings.”

“FYI, this review is mainly about the pharmacy, not the retail side.
This Walgreens is my favorite reason is the pharmacy manager Daniel and Ji.
Uber smart and knowledgeable. They know their way around the insurance and coverage.
Daniel is the pharmacy manager and a doctor of medications, this man is invaluable so I hope he stays there forever...
