Doctors and technicians are all so sweet and accomodating. I honestly believe they truly love every pet who walks though their door. Im sure it happens, but I've never seen my dogs or others' cats and dogs having anxiety. In contrast to other waiting rooms, theirs is spacious, clean, inviting and comfortable and all the pets relaxed. Even on their first visit, animals are perceptive and they sense the vibe, that they're walking into genuine love and care. Sweetwater helps alot of animals, large and small and they are very knowledgeable. Our dogs love them and they know where they are! They act like they're going to see a friend when we pull in the parking lot! They've had shots and exams, and always remember that there are treats and cuddles from "hi Grizzly" through "bye-bye Grizzly", (or "Angel" or "Bella"). I also truly appreciate the rapport we have, human to human. They welcome questions and dialogue. We never feel rushed no matter how busy they are. And with that said, they're well staffed and timely. We've never been kept waiting over 5 or 10 minutes, tops. I know they get emergencies, so it may happen someday, but we would understand. I don't know how they do it! To all at Sweetwater: Thank you for your kindness and for taking such good care of us humans and our fur babies. Love you guys! PS: get the app. They give tons of discount rewards!

Throughout the years we've worked with dozens of local veterinarians. Our wonderful dog of 9.5 years was in crisis several Sundays ago, so we rushed to Sand Canyon Animal Hospital since it was the only one open in our valley on a Sunday morning. Although we were heartbroken because our dog couldn't be saved, the doctor and his staff were beyond stellar. Their concern, expertise and compassion helped sooth the pain we were going through. A few weeks later we received personal condolence notes from the doctor and his two assistants, which was totally unexpected and further emphasized the care we received. We would highly recommend Sand Canyon Animal Hospital to any pet owner in Santa Clarita.

Dr. Linger is a fantastic vet and gave compassionate thoughtful and caring counsel for me and my elderly cats. She was there for me and texted me very quickly when I was in dire need of a response. She also was there for me when I had to make the very hard decision to say goodbye to my 17-year-old cat. Because of the The Cat Doctor my kitty got a few extra comfortable quality years with me. The front desk staff are all helpful and kind. They focus on cats alone which is also great, and always the quality of life of the kitty comes first with stellar veterinary expertise and advice. It’s also really nice that they have their own hospital care available if you need it! If you have cats in your home and your heart, please seek out the care of The Cat Doctor and Friends.

32645 Corder Rd, Santa ClaritaThis place is great! I unexpectedly had to have my dogs out of my townhouse for multiple contractors coming in to address work orders (was barely given 24 hours notice). When I reached out to Tina to inquire about service's she informed me that they do board but do not do daycare. That was totally fine. They were able to book me last minute at a very reasonable rate. Tina, her husband and one of their employees, Jesus could not have been more welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I was very happy with the setup. My two dogs had a huge enclosed outdoor area to themselves to run and play. That area had access through a dog door to a private section of the indoor kennel which was climate controlled. They could go in and out as they pleased. They provide food but you are welcome to bring your own as well. I never had any concerns that my girls were not in good hands. I dropped them off the same evening I booked just before 5:00pm and picked them up just after 4:00pm the next day. Tina happily communicated and sent me pictures of them happy and playing the morning after drop off until I picked them up that afternoon. They accept cash and checks (10% discount for cash) and Zelle. I paid via Zelle. I look forward to boarding with them again as I occasionally travel for work and my pet sitter hasn't always been available. Thank you Tina and family for taking such good care of Echo & Lexi!

Children are playing. Moms are dancing. Some of us are admiring the old train on display, snapping pictures to share in gratitude with our fellow world travelers.

The food is a nice mix of American diner classics, hearty barbecue and California cuisine.
Prices are reasonable. Portions are large. The view is the best part. Impeccable from every angle.
I passed this place many times on my canyon drives. I stopped here a few times just to admire the view.
I finally came here recently for dinner with one of my dearest friends. We had so much fun! We took home tasty leftovers and made plans to return as soon as possible. Hopefully, all the time.
I hope we all end up here together someday to enjoy good news, barbeque and the view at River's End.
