My dog can be pretty nervous; they noticed, and asked if I’d be open to coming on Sundays when it’s a little quieter for him. They’re genuine in their care for the dogs that they work with. My dog always comes out smelling so clean, with his paws and nails nicely trimmed and groomed. They also have a great shop area filled with unique treats, toys, and grooming supplies!

He came back happy and tired and it was nice to check in on him a few times during the day where I could see him having a great time. It is amazing that they have 24 hour drop off/pick up so we did not have to worry about cutting our vacation plans short to make it to pick him up on time. Cannot recommend them more!

Rover Kennels

One of my dogs is very anxious and needs to be kept with my other dog at all times, and they make sure to do so and send updates with photos. Despite my dog's anxiety, they both seem happy here. This last time they were boarded, one of my dogs actually got a minor injury during friendly play. The Rover staff took such good care of her, taking her to the vet, covering the costs, and making sure we were updated every step of the way.

2010 Broadway, Santa MonicaWe've had such a wonderful experience at VCA Santa Monica Dog & Cat Hospital caring for our dog, Sparky, and our two cats, Izzy and Snowbird. **Dr. Hubbard, Dr. Johnson, and Dr. Fuhrman** have all been incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. They take the time to get to know each of our pets, thoroughly answer all of our questions, and never make us feel rushed. It's clear they genuinely care about both their patients and the families who love them.
The entire team is also very responsive and easy to reach whenever we have questions or concerns. The VCA app is fantastic—it makes accessing medical records, appointment information, messaging the hospital, and staying on top of each pet's care incredibly convenient. Ordering medications through the pharmacy has also been simple and hassle-free.
The front desk staff are always warm, friendly, and attentive from the moment we walk in, and the veterinary technicians are equally wonderful. Everyone goes out of their way to make both us and our pets feel comfortable.
We're so grateful to have found a veterinary team we trust completely with Sparky, Izzy, and Snowbird. We highly recommend VCA Santa Monica Dog & Cat Hospital to anyone looking for compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.

I’d never used a dog walking service before, and was a little nervous to have someone come into my house and take my dog out. Shannon was so kind in explaining how it would all work, and in giving me the option to do a meet and greet with the walker beforehand. They use an app that is easy to navigate, and they provide clear updates during their visits (you get notifications when the walker arrives and departs, photos and a written note about how it went, a map showing their walk route, and a checklist of the tasks that the walker completed). Their prices are also reasonable. It’s a relief to have such a wonderful option for my dog when I’m out of the house for a longer period of time; I recommend!

Now in my late 20's I finally have the clearest, most radiant acne free skin of my life and it is thanks to Zenbiotic (NOT Proactive!). I have sensitive skin and Zenbiotic is the only skincare product line I have found and used that doesn't bother my skin, irritate it, clog it, leave it greasy, dry it out, etc. I have read up on the damages that chemicals, alcohol, preservatives, and parabens (that most skincare products contain) do to your skin and health. Zenbiotic is free of all of those. It only contains the raw, all-natural, nutritious, and helpful good stuff. Ingredients that I didn't even know my skin loves and "drinks" right up. And the scent of the moisturizer - strawberries and cucumber? Yes please! :) I'm left feeling clear, refreshed, revitalized, moisturized, smooth, vibrant, and healthy. How lucky are we that today we have the technology and science to blend the best all natural ingredients and an integrous, virtuous company that is not about making it cheap, nor trying to trick us and scheme us out of our money, but is about making it clean, pure, and the best formulation for our well being? I can't believe these products have a shelf life of 10 years too! Without preservatives! They'll never last that long in my house though! Lol! However, depending on how much you use each day, these bottles actually do last a really long time. What an undeniable bang for your buck. I've seen products costing over $100-200 dollars only to be full of things I've never heard of, can't pronounce, or that I have heard of and what I've heard is that essentially they're poison. No where to be found in Zenbiotic! I couldn't be more pleased. If you're considering trying it, I encourage you to do so. What can it hurt? Not your skin that's for sure! A+!

They're all really into their craft and will guide you and answer questions. Their menu options, their espresso options, the space, the vibe, the way they break things down for you, what they recommend for you it's just perfection, everything about it. It's one of those businesses that you pray is very successful for as long as possible. We need small businesses like this. Give them all of your money.

2627 Santa Monica Boulevard, Santa MonicaI’ve been coming to Lokl Haus for years for the occasional afternoon iced Americano since I work nearby, and it has consistently been one of my favorite coffee spots in Santa Monica.
The coffee is fantastic, and I’ve also tried their pastries, meals, and snacks over the years. Everything is high quality, reasonably priced, and has that fresh, healthy feel that makes it an easy go-to. I also highly recommend the pistachio chia protein pudding (I think that’s what it’s called) — so good!
Apparently I’ve been coming here long enough that recently I walked in and they had my iced Americano ready before I even ordered it. Such a small thing, but it absolutely made my day and says a lot about the people who work here.
Great coffee, great food, and genuinely thoughtful service. Highly recommend Lokl Haus!

We plan to go to one of the many restaurants we knew down the street. Instead we happened on this place at the top of the shopping mall. Service was a mixed bag: the gentleman working there was super chill and friendly—honestly wished we had interacted with him more! On the other hand, our host felt a bit standoffish and unwelcoming. When I mentioned I enjoy medium-bodied wines like Chiantis, she bluntly corrected me to say Chianti isn't medium-bodied, which set a cold tone for the visit. Good wine overall, but hospitality could be a bit more consistent.

Randee will be honest with potential adopters about a dog’s fit and personality, which is so important when it comes to dog rescue, and it’s upsetting to see the negative reviews bashing this organization that may dissuade potential supporters or adopters from contacting Randee.
