“Alto pharmacy provides delivery of prescription medications. My doctor had signed me up with Alto Pharmacy when he last updated my prescription. I was concerned but ended up being pleasantly surprised! :) During the first delivery the driver went out of his way to make sure it arrived. I was able to connect with him in person and updated my contact phone with him and let him know about the easier way to get to my door. He’s next delivery was great!
Unfortunately, my 3rd delivery was not good. It was a different person delivering to my location for the first time and he did not ensure it was delivered but returned it to the company. As I was due to take it the next day and it is a migraine prevention treatment that helps I was very frustrated. However, I was able to get in touch with customer service right away and the man was very helpful! While he could only set it up for a 48 turn around on delivery he recommended I call in the morning of the next day to request same day delivery. While I missed the morning window to call for same day, it was delivered on the following day and I was only one day late.
Additionally, their message system within their app lives up to its word! They answer promptly clearly for effective next steps! It has been great!
While the 3rd delivery was not completed on time everything else has been great and the resolution for the delayed delivery was excellent and initiated shortly after I discovered the failed delivery. Thus, 5-stars!”

Edit: It's been two years since I wrote this review and Google asked me to update it the same day they fired 12,000 employees. I can't imagine that's not a coincidence. Nevertheless, Safeway still continues to serve an FDA compliant product at slightly higher than market rate values. If that excites you, then you know what to do.”
“The pharmacist really helped me out of a bind. I had run out of my medication, my normal pharmacy was closed for days due to the storm systems that pounded CA non stop, and this pharmacy came through to help me. It was a super complicated process because the refill had already been processed at the closed pharmacy and my insurance was not cooperating. This Walgreens went the extra mile to help - what is that called? Uhm, Customer Service? Absolutely YES!!”
“We came down for COVID boosters - a combination of adults and kids for Moderna/Pfizer. Jay was super efficient, polite and helped my son through his fear of needles. My go to place for boosters now on!”

“The Asian lady who was at the counter on Saturday was a God send. I was told a couple days ago that insurance did not authorize my medication.
When I went back to pay out of pocket, the Asian lady listened to my problem and she found out that insurance did authorize a different brand. I ended up not needing to pay out of pocket.
People like her are a God send. I will always come to this Pharmacy in the future and wish her well.”

“This wonderful pharmacy is everything Walgreens and CVS are not. Friendly, efficient, responsive and helpful. And as a bonus, there's almost never a wait because they are fully staffed all day long. I counted six busy employees behind the counter at this one little shop. Compare that to the 2-3 overworked and demoralized staff at the big box stores and you see why service is so much better here.”

They have very cute toys and gifts for people! it's kind of like a mini Target with an assortment of house goods, although they do not have food I don't think. “I was inspired to write this Yelp review of my local Walgreens because of Jeff, the employee I interacted with in the Photo department. It was very busy in the store since today is Christmas Eve and many others (myself included) were doing last minute gift shopping. Despite the volume of customers, I received the best customer service from Jeff. Not only did he have my Photos prepared for me in less than 1 hour, but he also took the time to search for a Picture Frame so that I would have the right size frame for the prints I'd ordered!!! So clutch!! His coworker Jose took over while Jeff was searching the BACK-STOCK for a frame for me. Great teamwork, guys! They were both festively dressed, and in jolly spirits. I had a great experience with the Walgreens photo department at this store. In general, this is my go-to Walgreens store and I've been coming here for 10+ years. They have a good selection of inventory and kind, helpful employees.”

“For some reason their French breads taste really good. You can tell it’s more of a processed type of bread but it’s still a good yummy deal for $1 a giant loaf. I don’t like how there’s stuff locked up behind cases though cause you gotta wait awhile for some poor lone staff to run around to all the customers before finally getting to you. San Jose people, stop stealing!
Also I tried their marketplace pizza near the small deli counter. Hmmm…. For $10, it’s okay but doesn’t seem to have much pizza taste. 6.5/10 rating. I added jalapeño for flavor. I grabbed one of those premade salad bag and also made chicken Alfredo pasta. Meal came out to be only about $5-6 for 4 big servings. Pretty good imo”
