“I visited today during the busy holiday season. WOW! The two young ladies working here were both so attentive, friendly, and super helpful while picking out gifts for my sister. The store was super clean and easy to navigate. I'm a member who has exclusively shopped online previously, but loved seeing all the product in person. I will be shopping IRL again soon after having such a great in store experience!”

“Tom deserves a raise!I have one simple rule, if a store associate doesn't say "Hi" within 5-10 secs of seeing me, I don't buy a thing.... Tom saw me immediately introduced himself, asked for my name, remembered it, and was the overall BEST associate I've ever come across. Tom deserves a raise or bonus! It's associates like him that keep people coming back!”

“Awesome retail apparel boutique on Ventura Blvd. I even met the owner while I was there and chopped it up about how he got into the business and being originally out of Philly. We watched a little of the Golden State and Brooklyn game while shopping around. Location has a lot of designs by artist not just from LA, but from all over the country. Come check out the photos of all the celebrities that have stopped by. Many kicks, t-shirts, sweat shirts and pants, bucket hats, bennies, glasses and chains. Found a few things that I needed to take home!”

“I'll admit I have purchased very few Coach products over the past couple of decades. It was a brand that was a hit for me and my friends in middle school and maybe early high school; the bags, wallets, keychains etc. but as an adult it isn't a participant in my handbag rotation. For this reason alone, I do think the brand could use some repurposing or helpful marketing campaign (not JLo) because I'm an age demographic that wrote them off years ago and cringed ever so slightly at even the thought of making a purchase. My grandma and I do own small matching red heart shaped studded coin purses that I purchased years back for a StepUp campaign/event - some proceeds may have been going to this wonderful non profit. Everyone compliments these little coin/card wallets and I love that we match and have for years. A certain thing happened a couple weeks back...Insert some random 12year old TikTok kid who influenced me to buy a little Chalk Nolita wristlet week before last and I've purchased 3 total items in the past 25 years. This item was from none other than a Coach outlet online store. Don't worry I'm laughing at myself too but it is cute and I did take it even a step further and took the tweens advice to get the heart extender chain from Amazon. Someone send help! It's a slippery slope I'm on over here. Where were we??The brand is great quality, that's something no one can take from them but I'd be lying if I didn't say they need an overhaul to get customers back. I typically write this store off as a thing of the past and chuckle over when I use to like it as a kid. You don't hear the Michael Kors bag type "jokes" (but dead serious) about this brand as much but I'd have to guess no woman my age is really their top consumer. I'm not saying we're all at Chanel by this age, I'm simply saying it's a brand that ran it's course many, many moons ago (similar to Lululemon which you couldn't pay me to purchase, but maybe a decade ago I paid their utility bill each month with my weekly purchases).Well... somehow I spotted their seasonal Heart Crossbody In Signature Canvas and really took a liking to it. I'm not really into signature print anything on a brand nowadays. I'd rather something a little unassuming but this bag is really adorable. I spotted it in person at this location and decided to try it on. It's the perfect little crossbody for Valentine's Day and maybe I've been away so long I felt the price was reasonable at $295, coming in a good bit less than some other bags I've picked up overseas recently (Prada, Chanel and while we aren't gatekeeping our favs my other go to's: Polene, Sandro, Maje, Strathberry) I always admit to loving high/low I'll go thrift finds to designer and everywhere in between but the reason I feel the brand needs help is simply because I know how I've felt about it and the little push I needed to give myself to realize, hey! This is cute, I want it, never mind it's this brand.Helpful, friendly customer service! I was in and out in a few short minutes. Satisfied with my purchase, looking forward to using it and encouraging more people to step back through their door if something peaks your interest because the quality of their goods is really rather nice.”

“Vans will always have a special place in my heart... this store is spacious, full of great personalities, and always has a selection available. Prices are okay, Vans shoes have gotten a little more expensive through the years. There's a sale rack if you're interested in clothes. They don't generally have great Black Friday deals, unless you don't mind perusing older styles that aren't as popular. Staff is cheerful and laidback here. Definitely a lot of culture-fits here. Ample parking in the garage and area around the shopping center. Store is on the second floor.”

“I went to Macy's looking for home accessories and stumbled upon a wide selection of sofas and other furniture. I was honestly so surprised at how much stuff they had and how helpful and knowledgeable the sales associates were, mainly Reza! I've been shopping for a sofa for a while now since we moved into our new house and I was so surprised to find such great options for such great prices at my local department store. Next time I will need to bring my husband with me to check out the couches himself but we will be back and will recommend macys for any furniture needs!”

“Hey, who owns Forever 21 these days, anyway? No longer the immigrant Chang family, who built the fast-fashion empire from one single Highland Park store, only to lose it all in bankruptcy in 2019. Now helmed by Authentic Brands; they own a million other brands too (Brooks Brothers, Nine West, Nautica, Aeropostale). And I think they are doing a pretty good job with Forever 21.Like Starbucks, they are everywhere. But I like this two-story Sherman Oaks location -- always so neat and clean, not too much stuff jammed on the racks, plenty of friendly salespeople around to help. I asked about the price of a long coat and the salesperson was nice enough to not only find the price, but looked online for a lower price, then matched that price. Wow. Gents, head up the in-store escalator for men's stuff; all the sale stuff is up here too. The prices are literally jaw dropping and I think you will agree that the quality is a few steps up from what you expected. $20 mens sweaters feel like $100, no lie. Even a Gucci guy like me can find an armful of stuff to try on and a few things to buy. Ladies' stuff dominates here, and I challenge any gal not to find an awesome sweatshirt or top. All I'm saying that Forever 21 is worth another look! Fight me!”
