4419 Van Nuys Blvd, Sherman OaksI cannot express how much I adore Avenue Of The Paws. I've been a loyal customer for about a year and a half, and l've experienced service from two groomers. The first groomer, Tahlia, was sweet and kind to my dog Maisy, a purebred golden retriever. She was efficient, usually finishing within an hour. Unfortunately, Tahlia no longer works there.
When Tahlia left, I was assigned a new groomer, Frankie, who is nothing short of an angel on earth. Frankie is the best groomer l've ever had. From the first visit, Maisy was overjoyed to meet her, which was quite surprising since she'd never reacted that way before, not even with Tahlia. Frankie has a special touch; she quickly got Maisy into the grooming van, something that Tahlia occasionally struggled with.
Frankie's grooming sessions take a bit longer--around two hours--but the results are worth it. The first time, I was concerned because I was used to the quicker turnaround.
However, when Frankie opened the door, Maisy looked like she'd lost 20 pounds of fur! The deshedding was incredible.
Maisy was soft, fluffy, and smelled wonderful, feeling like silk to the touch.
Since then, l've only requested Frankie, and she consistently does an amazing job. She is highly knowledgeable about different dog breeds, knowing exactly which ones can be groomed in specific ways. Her gentle and caring nature makes her exceptional with the pets. Maisy adores her, and I always feel at ease leaving Maisy in her capable hands.
The only downside is the cost. At $235 per grooming session for my golden retriever, it is pricey. However, the quality of service and care Frankie provides makes it worth every penny.

I have taken my mini-golden doodle to them for years before moving to San Diego and they have always provided top tier care. Scheduling is flexible, wait times are reasonable, staff is friendly, and parking nearby is always available. The staff has also gone above and beyond for us, specifically when I was in a bind to get mandatory vaccines prior to dropping my pup off for boarding that same day - calling them en route driving from SD to LA, they empathized with my situation and were able to fit in an appt around the exact time we were expected to arrive in LA (absolute life savers!!). I still benefit from the email reminders re: my doggo's upcoming vet needs (e.g. immunizations) and take her to them whenever we make an LA visit. Highly recommend!!

From the moment I brought my dog in for his temperament test, I immediately felt at ease—the staff were relaxed yet incredibly professional.
My dog is a senior with diabetes, requires insulin, and is partially blind, so I was nervous leaving him for over a week with new people in a new place. The staff reassured me right away that my pup would be in great hands—and he absolutely was.
I also love that the dogs get their own room vs. being in a crate! The frequent Instagram story updates gave me so much peace of mind, too.
Special thanks to Tony, who administered insulin shots twice a day and he stays overnight with the pups! Rose, the owner, is also there every day and made me feel completely comfortable trusting a new facility with my senior dog. I will definitely be bringing my dog back. Thank you so much, Paw Haven!

Even at 1.5yrs she was still struggling with confident issues, so I started bringing her into the zoom room agility classes. The classes have really helped to build up her confidence because she has so much fun getting 1:1 time with me, as well as running over, through, and around all of the different stations. I really love seeing her pittie smile. In the level 1&2 class you usually get 2-3 runs, it really depends on class size if you get more. She recently graduated to level 3.

The kind owner toured the menu with us, gave us incredible suggestions, and treated us with such kindness.
And then the ice cream...WOW!! It was so rich, so flavorful, and you coukd even select how rich you wanted it!!
What a perfectly crafted menu, and you could really taste the love and care that goes into all of their homemade flavors!!

Didn't catch the barista's name but they were super sweet and had great energy this morning! This is located along Ventura so parking is always a pain. Luckily it's Sunday and we found a spot pretty easily. Walked over and there were maybe like 2-3 other people here. My bf and I ordered the Honey, Have a Good Day Latte and Maple Latte both iced and loved it! The cups are SUUUUUPER cute too! I love round bottom cups for whatever reason lol. And the ice, if you know me, I love me some good crushed/nugget ice lol. The strongness and sweetness of both lattes were perfect and such great flavors! It was absolutely delicious!! The bread was warm and buttery and flaky!! I mixed the chili and tomatoes sauce that made a perfect dipping sauce. Lemonade was refreshing! I look forward to my next oil change so I can be in the area and order from them again haha ☺️
