Even with advent of online shopping, I continue to support this local store and buy my surf needs from them. Don't let few one star reviews deter you from checking this place out, cause everyone has bad days. But there are more good days in life than bad days and this store is by no means exceptional.”

    The outdoor retailer plans to open a 100,000-square-foot store in College Station, Texas, in 2028. It'll sit along State Highway 6, north of William D. Fitch Parkway, next to a Costco and in front of the future South College Station baseball and softball complex. On Sept. 24, the College Station City Council approved a $10.84 million sale of 28 acres in a unanimous vote. Bass Pro gets about 14 acres for its store.
