“So I went there to assist my mom in getting a phone. Not only did they go above and beyond to gain her as a client, they also helped with the transition in contacting the correct personnel at the other carrier, who she was leaving due to bad service, to help get the codes she needed for transfer. Many companies these days aren't taking those extra steps, yet Metro employees did today. Great job! I know it can be challenging to work with some clients who may not be so tec savvy but they did it with grace and patience. I know my mother, as a senior felt supported and like I steered her into a better plan.”

“I love coming to this 7-11. I live on the East side of Santa Cruz, and I drive the 20 minutes to this specific location, not just because they are one of the stores that carries the type of cigarettes I buy, but, also because I am always treated like a friend when I go in there. The bad reviews I've read of this 7-11 are confusing to me... In general, people treat you in the same way you treat them. So, for the people that seem to think there are "rude" employees here, it may be good for you to think about how you're coming off to other people, first.”

“Stopped in to get a microwave burrito, but discovered that 7-11 now has an entire collection of hot food ready to go. I tried the wings, taquitos and chicken rollers, they were all pretty good. Paid by phone, walked out in like two minutes with hot food to eat while driving. Staff was polite and upbeat. Will go back.”

“This 7-Eleven is pretty ghetto, as far as the location goes. There's always junkies outside. They have to keep straws and lids behind the counter. Hella getto. However, staff is really sweet. They're all cool, and tolerant. Usually a big line . Owner is way cool. He went way above and beyond and delivered my refund in person when my gift card receipt was too faded to see. Super cool of him.”
“I am so grateful that this store is in walking distance from my condo.The staff is helpful, friendly and accepting in working with seniors. I know Walgreens gets a bad rap as a corporation, but the people here locally are working hard to provide personal service with good humor and understanding.”

“I needed a new IPhone as my old SE version was outdated and pretty much useless. Undecided on a which version of a newer model when I showed up for my appointment, the sales rep, Yancy spent the next two hours guiding me thru the process. Yes, he spent two hours with me focused, attentive and patient as I must have asked the same question over and over again. It was a big decision for me transitioning from my tiny SE to a larger screen and quite intimidating newer phone. But Yancy made the process so easy! His calm demeanor, good sense of humor and product knowledge helped make this purchase a wise one. I so appreciate the time he spent with me helping to build my knowledge base re newer phones as I was still in the dark ages with my SE. If you need a new IPhone, make an appointment at this store and I hope Yancy is available to help you. He is the rock star of Verizon and an amazing IPhone sales rep. You will be very happy with his assistance!”
“I came in on a Friday morning at opening and there was several people waiting with me. When the doors opened the staff got everyone checked in quickly and without issue. I waited my turn which took 15 minutes but the staff was all helping someone and it wasn't that bad of a wait. Francisco helped me and we ran into several annoying tech issues with transferring my old phone to new phone. Francisco was friendly and helped several people during my phone updates and reboots. It was an annoying process but most everyone I saw working with customers was kind and efficient. It was a lovely experience and I think Francisco gave great service very professional and very personable.”

“My latest visit was disappointing, not because of anyone at the store, but due to the online tech repair appointment person. After setting up an in-store appointment, I was told on arrival that only things with an existing warranty of some kind could be worked on. My 6 year old TV in the back of my car did not qualify.Too bad the appointment person didn't tell me this beforehand, as I drove in a long way from the mountains for nothing.I'll keep my prior 4-star rating as it was not the local store's fault. I called the local number but I guess the call was routed to somewhere else in the world.”
