“I like the Safeway Pharmacy on 41st because it is convenient and fast - there is usually a very short line unlike other pharmacies. There are also private rooms to get vaccinated. The staff is mostly polite and attentive. You can easily get someone on the phone when you call.”

“I would give more than 5 stars if possible. Knowledgeable, friendly, service with a smile. I'm so grateful to have a compounding pharmacy that goes above and beyond.”

“I hesitate to Recommend Tom's for selfish reasons, I'm always in and out of there in about 5 minutes and I would hate to be waiting in line if more people start migrating there from the horrid chain pharmacies.”

“I needed to share my fabulous experience! I was not aware of fitting hours and prior to working I drove across the county prior to my work shift looking to be fitted. I was informed it was too late but when I spoke to the lovely woman who was doing the fitting she happily measured my legs, got my info and checked me out within 15 minutes! What a life saver! Thank you so much!!!!!”

“I LOVE this Rite Aid because even though they always seem understaffed, they go out of their way to help their customers. Everyone is great there, but this Shout Out goes out to Heather, the manager (I hope I have her name right). So i went into the store today to buy the large bottle of Listerine, and I grabbed 2 of them when I saw a sign saying "2 for $8". Well when I got up to the checkout, the nice customer service lady told me they were actually 10.99 a bottle, and the sign must have been wrong. So the manager and I walked back to the aisle, and she saw that the price sticker sign was in the wrong spot, BUT she gave both bottles to me for $8 anyway, even though I didn't ask her to. Now THAT is great customer service!”

“I have been a customer at Frank’s Pharmacy for years and they are truly amazing!!!! Wonderful staff who know you by name. They will do anything and everything to help you out and no long lines like CVS and all the others. They also deliver for free, which I have used on occasion. Wonderful, local caring pharmacy. I would never go anywhere else.”

“I’ve been in this game a long time, this is the best pharmacy I’ve found. Kind, fast, and they mess up very rarely, and when they do, they actually handle the problem and are helpful unlike almost all other pharmacies. Anyway, pick this one! Note they close earlier than most and are closed on sunday”

“My vet prescribed an Rx for Methimazole Anhydrous PLO for my 19-year-old cat who was recently diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism Disease. This Rx originally came in pill form but it was ' high drama' for both me & my cat each time she was dosed which was every 12 hours. So the vet changed Rx to accommodate a different application which made it possible to administer the medication successfully w/o the drama. YAY! She directed me to this pharmacy where they hand-prepare the Rx. I highly recommend this pharmacy not only for their ability to prepare medication for specialized cases but their staff was amazing. They are very knowledgeable & gave me very clear & thorough instructions on how to apply & answered all my questions. I was impressed with their professionalism, patience & overall passion for the good care of the animals we love, our precious pets. My cat & I are most grateful to this business. Refills are a breeze AND they deliver. Cool huh?”

“Thank you Maddie (hopefully that's how you spell your rename)! I was there earlier returning a bunch of clothing I bought online. When I got home I realized one of the items didn't make it onto the return. I called in and Maddie said as able to locate the item that was missed and reimbursed it. No need to drive back down. Thank you!!!!!”

“A family member tested positive for an illness late at night. Our physician was able to call in a prescription and I was able to pick it up right before the pharmacy closed. I snagged some supplements and groceries on my way out. The patient was able to promptly start taking their medicine. Overall a very smooth experience.”

“We have an excellent store, and let's face it, customer service revolving around the medical field is the epitome of a thankless job. Our folks really do go the extra mile because I've seen and heard customers really dig into your employees and they just keep on smiling. Well...at our house we appreciate everything that CVS in Scotts Valley does for us. Yes... mistakes are made but mistakes happen everywhere this side of Heaven. Not only do we love you folks, we actually like you, too.”

“Kaiser doesn't have a strong footprint in the Santa Cruz area. These offices fill a gap that is left by the lack of a full hospital. Your only other option for full medical serves is to "go over the hill" (aka through HWY17) to reach the San Jose facilities. If you're willing to wait longer for an in person appointment then Scott's valley may be worth it.”

“Next survey. I hope CVS don't ask me about the COVID butt shot on the survey page. But the store was a slam dunk contest winner. I give them a dunk score of 50.”

“We work with CareMark and Caremark specialty for critical prescriptions related to transplant recipient prescriptions. CareMark or its specialty partner dropped the ball on an important refill which caused my wife to run out. This proved to be a significant time-kill. After hours of calls, customer service frustration, my wife was able to get Caremark to send 4 pills to try to bridge some of the days between when the script was tentatively going to arrive. Caremark, in the late afternoon, sent the script to our local CVS pharmacy. That pharmacy did not have the meds in stock. In an extreme pinch, and under their significant work-load, the Pharmacist at Rio del Mar, Aptos store, contacted another local CVS at 7:20 PM. Both pharmacies at that late hour were inundated with work. The Pharmacist was able to reach Pharmacist (Ms. Thanh) and she confirmed they had the pills. I arrived at the CVS and I was greeted by Michele (Hero). Expecting and fearing the worst, she was amazing. She found the information and swiftly worked with the pharmacist (Thanh) to fill the temporary script minutes before closing. These staffers should be commended. This was not an ordinary script, this was critical medication. The staff, not knowing the importance of the meds nor the time and frustration that had occurred getting to this point - acted with the utmost professionalism, care and follow-thorough - even tho they were buried under end of their end of shift deadlines and work. While most of the CVS pharmacy staff are decent, this service and acumen went above and beyond cleaning up the mishap that was not their doing.”

“Had a great experience yesterday. I went in for a couple vaccines. I only waited about five minutes. The lady that checked me in was very friendly. The pharmacist that gave me my shots was very calm and patient, not in a hurry. We chatted before, then he asked me to let him know when I was ready before each shot. I'll be back for sure.”

“for pharmacy only EJ, pharmacist is the best! We had a difficulty once, and she talked through it with patience and respect. tonight, even though very busy with the pre-holiday rush, she filled a last minute rx for me, immediately, because I was feeling so ill. Rodney, the tech is terrific. Great memory with names and birthdates. He really makes an effort to get to know his customers. Polite and friendly. Good location for me. hope we don't lose them!”

“There are not enough starts to rate this pharmacy. They are awesome. They fill prescriptions, finding the best price, are courteous and kind. I watched as they went out of their way to help a man with two badly burned hands get his pain pills economically. They found the best price for my medication. It is fun to go in there. One man even showed up in a cat in the hat outfit. I have only had one experience at the CVS pharmacy on 41st and they were also quite good.”

“There is a cashier at this location named Ebony, who happens to be the friendliest, sweetest and most attentive employee possibly in all of Santa Cruz. Time after time she has greeted me with warmth and enthusiasm and her attitude is contagious. I wish every business had someone like her.”

“I like that the Santa Cruz Kaiser pharmacy is just a five minute walk from my home. I find the pharmacy techs and pharmacist to be professional and kind. I've never waited more than ten minutes for prescriptions to be filled. The only negative issue for me is that they're closed during lunch, but that's pretty easy to work around.”

“I look forward always to my visits here!i am always treated with kindness & respect. All staff go out of their way to help - I think some folks don't realize that on certain says the pharmacy & store have fewer members on board, & of course after lunch & on weekdays they have play "catch up!" Even so, they have always made the time to explain & help me (as a disabled customer this means so much!) They save me from stress & more than once they have protected my health with great consults for new Rx's. I find if I make enough time for them they always do the same for me! - this CVS is our local treasure!”
