Edit: It's been two years since I wrote this review and Google asked me to update it the same day they fired 12,000 employees. I can't imagine that's not a coincidence. Nevertheless, Safeway still continues to serve an FDA compliant product at slightly higher than market rate values. If that excites you, then you know what to do.”

“This pharmacy was the fastest and had the best customer service I have ever experienced with a pharmacy. We needed a prescription filled after being in the urgent care clinic while on vacation. Within 10 minutes of the end of our doctor appointment, the pharmacy tech had called us to let us know how soon the script would be filled and when they were closing for lunch. I would hands down come back here for all my prescriptions in the Bay Area. 10/10 recommend!”

They bill insurance, give vaccines, are on top of COVID info and newest vaccines (and honestly, such a gentle poke I couldn't feel it!) I don't believe they are affiliated with the huge chain pharmacies like Walgreens or CVS, which is a good thing.”
“Teds is a great pharmacy. They get my medications to me on-time. If I call in the AM, I receive them by 600 pm and they also advise me if the medications are not in stock. However, my favorite part of Teds is my delivery guy, Moises. He is thoughtful and kind. There is a crabby person who answers the phone. I do agree with previous reviews. U know who you are. Girl, If you don't like your job, Quit! You need a lesson in Customer Care and empathy. Teds Manager/owner, she is dragging your reputation down. Fix it.”

“Staff have been truly great.Their service is 5 stars — they solve problems, greet you, seem to be authentic, good humans.I think they are short-staffed in the pharmacy which is a management issue.I hate the new maze of telephone prompts when you call (again, management issue).App is pretty good but if you have a med on hold there is no way to unhold it except coming in person or calling and going through the phone maze.Also, one of the meds I had delivered never arrived, two weeks later. I called and they will have it ready for me to pick up tomorrow.Again, five stars for the staff there!”

“My insurance doesn't cover my meds for the treatment I'm doing. The team here always helps me find ways to get appropriate discounts and find other ways to reduce the cost of medication. I wouldn't know how to do it without them, they are very kind. They are a specialty pharmacy, so they are busy filling orders, so you may have to wait if it is an order that was just submitted, and if you come during a busy time of day. But they have always made sure I get my medications even last minute if I needed them right away. Just play games on your phone if you are waiting, it's normal for not all things to be instantaneous. Very professional, helpful, and have the meds I need that others don't have!”

“This is the first time i came to a Safeway Pharmacy (CVS previously). I called first to inquire about getting a covid vaccine shot. The person over the phone (Adrian) was very attentive, a pleasant surprise. I then went in; both Adrian and the pharmacist Jessica are very friendly - not just with me but with other customers. I had to wait a bit long due to an input error made on my insurance card, but it is ok because they are pleasant to interact with.”

“I have been a long-time pharmacy customer at this location and come in quite often as I manage my family's as well as my parents' medications. The regular pharmacist always took good care of us, remembering details such as if we had changed doctors, coordinating the timing on filling the many different prescriptions to help save me trips, and giving us tips when we encounter a problem with prescription coverage or insurance issues. I have seen this crew go through some tough times, with high staff turnover due to the pandemic, to as recent as this past Sunday when I visited at 4pm and heard from the pharmacist that the power had gone out 5 times that day and hence they had to reboot the system and lose 15 minutes each time that happens, and had some dropped calls too. I agree with a previous reviewer that stated that they do need more help, especially since I can certainly see that they are much busier now with people showing up to get vaccinated and expecting to be helped right away. When I first started using this pharmacy 4 years ago, there was always 2 to 3 people working at a time. Now, it's often just one person. You can only do so much at one time, no matter how great you are at multitasking! Please properly staff your crew so they can take good care of us.”
