They are always eager to help and answer any questions. My dog has several health issues and allergies. The employees there, make it so easy for me to find the right kind of food and treats for my soulmate doggy! This is the place to go for all your pet needs. They carry almost everything including a doggy carriage. There is also a grooming place in the back of the store. They also do an amazing job of grooming, my dog at a reasonable price.”

“Let me start by saying that I love supporting my local shops and small businesses. However, many times the prices in local stores are higher compared to some of the big online sites. This is NOT the case with Big Al's. Not only are their in-store prices competitive to or LESS than online retailers, but the level of customer service from Brandon and his crew is top notch. It is so refreshing to be unable to ask questions to someone working in a pet store and get unbiased and informed answers. This is such an underrated experience nowadays! One Sunday evening I realized that my puppy had run out of his new food and panicked because I knew I wouldn't be able to make it to Big Al's before they closed in 10 minutes. I took a chance and called the store to confirm the closing time, and Brandon answered. He so graciously agreed to stay open past their closing time to allow me to come in and buy my pups food! Another time, I mentioned a food I'd recently switched my pup to that we were using and really loved. Brandon was familiar with the product and agreed that it was a great one, but he didn't carry this brand of dog kibble in store. Within a month, they ordered the product - Farmina, and now carry it in their store! I'm so blown away by the customer service that I've received, the quality of products offered, and the outstanding prices. I will be a forever customer of BIG Al's!”

“Terrific pet store with a variety of options for a lot of pets. I specifically go for my dog. The staff are super friendly and helpful. My dog went through radiation and it she was super picky with her food. One of the staff was able to suggest a few couple of options and it worked!!! Also, a very good variety of treats and toys. On occasions, they offered discounted teeth cleaning and pet adoptions.”

“my Rocky needed more reinforcement to correct him when he is walked and socialized.The Trainer Bridgette immediately recommended the proper chain and the store assistant went and procured the correct size and everything. I am so grateful as this will make it better experience for me and my fur baby when we walk among other dogs. “My vet had recommended this place for finding some more of the specialized foods my little old man needs and I can see why. This place has such a large selection of specialty food for dogs, cats, and others I believe. I went in for some low fat tummy/pancreas friendly food for my dog and the salesperson immediately let me through the sections with all the different brands to choose from. It can get kinda pricey, but it's special food for my special guy and worth it. Such a relief to have this spot so close by!”

“I am a travel nurse with two awesome Siamese cats. I wanted to update their supplies and Unleashed came highly recommended from my patients. The sales staff was very helpful in their honest opinions for my needs since my cats are not just stay at home, they are on the road in my van with me. The new litter box and supplies work perfectly. The dash sleeping pads are great and the toys are so much fun for them. Prices are surprisingly low and the choices and quality is outstanding!!!! I LOVE this store. “Have had a Patio Door xtra large door for German Shep and Fat Lab, they destroyed the housing and the flap. I ordered the parts from Ideal, and when they came, the flap was just a bit short, left about 1/8" gap. I think it may have been my fault that I ordered the wrong part. I contacted support and they are sending the correct one to me via 2 day USPS and no charge.I have been a customer since we had big dogs, 21 years, and will be an Ideal Pet Product until I don't have pets again, which, will be after I die.Thanks for the great customer service.”

“This review is for Vetco Total Care.This year I have become a cat daddy. This was my very first kitten. Since it was a stray abandoned from its litter I wanted to ensure the kitten's health is well. Although I went to a different Vetco for my kitten's initial shots, I came to this location's Vetco to inquire about spaying. I am not sure if it was bad timing but I've had a difficult time find a spay/neuter facility that was accepting new animals. I reached out to many different places and resulted to no avail. My last resort was to go to Vetco and I honestly did not want to go this route as it was going to be a pricey one. But I did. I felt that my kitten should be taken care of before it goes into its first heat cycle. (not sure if this is really an issue or not)I made my appointment online with ease. Shortly after I received a call from the location and set up two appointments. First was for preop and the other was for the actual operation date. It amazed me how much further into the year we had to schedule but as I mentioned earlier, I wanted to take care of it prior to the kitten's first heat cycle. All the staff that I have met were nice and clear about any information or updates on my cat. We completed the preop and all that was left was the operation date. What I didn't like about the operation date is they set me up for an early time. There was no one at Vetco to greet me at the door as it was locked. I did see some Petco employees walking into the store but the store doesn't open for another 2 hours. So what do I do? While while waiting outside. I watched employees walk in. Asked about getting attended as I had an appointment. Called a couple of times but no one was available to receive my call. Then finally a Vetco employee walked up and asked if I had an appointment. From there I was attended to and made the kitty drop off. Later in the afternoon I came to pick up my cat and had some instructions to follow. A week later we came back for a follow up and my cat was doing great with her recovery. Other than the cost and waiting outside for some time to get someone's attention, I am pleased with the service and speaking with vet about any questions or concerns I may have had at the time.
