“While building a bike the service and attention to detail was super solid. Mike did a fantastic job as we negotiated all the options and kept me aware of progress. Chris, fit me on my bike and initially it was a bit uncomfortable, however, some of my little pains went away and now I really like the position. Great bike shop!”
“I had a great experience today at Wheel Away bike shop. I brought my Giant Anthem MTB in for a tune-up because it was stuck in one gear and the dropper post cable was messed up. The staff explained that the issues might be fixable during the tune-up and told me I could pick the bike up the next day.
To my surprise, I received a text later the same day saying the service was already completed. When I picked up the bike, everything was working perfectly, and the final cost was exactly what they had quoted.
I’m very satisfied with the service and will definitely come back for future bike maintenance. Thanks to all the staff!”

“I was looking on Google and I came across this bike shop and remembered George. 20 years ago I did a bike tour across the US for charity and George was the one who helped me build the right bike for the tour. My bike only broke a couple spokes, and a few other minor things during the entire summer. I was very pleased with all the help George gave me to build a reliable bike that I could enjoy during that tour. Updated in 2025. Shortly after I wrote this review one night my six year old Shepherd was looking at the magazines from the 2000s and got the idea....... He asked me if I could train him to cycle all the way to New York from Seattle. After a long chat I said yes and three years later we got to spend an entire summer cycling east together. “I came in on a whim to potentially get a second bike. I was impressed by their selection and how great their prices were. I couldn’t resist picking something up while I was there. They were great in helping me and the lady went out of her way to help me make a decision. She gave me two bikes to test ride and they’ve got a parking lot to ride around in. Ultimately went back in and picked up a 20” bmx bike. The guy working at the station helped to install pegs and adjusted my seat perfectly. The whole rest of the day I’ve just been riding. No major upsells on used bike maintenance or safety tune ups / checks, just good vibes of go out and learn your new-to-you MTB. Will be going back for maintenance I can’t do on my own (eg shock services) and plan to buy my next bike here when the time comes. Hopefully not for a long time.”

“Got a bike off facebook marketplace so I could explore the bay area while I was here for my summer internship. My bike had major shifter/rear derailleur problems and in the process somehow managed to undo my chain into metal spaghetti. Took it to the bike shop and got my bike rideable again for $5 worth of chain work. Pretty efficient service, reasonable prices, and knowledgeable mechanics.”
