Sasquatch Tavern and Grill
775 U.S.40, Verdi99% of the time Sasquatch Tavern is amongst the very best places to grab a meal.
Unfortunately, the Sunday before Memorial Day was the worst experience ever at Sasquatch Tavern.
It was obviously understaffed and the cook was not keeping up with the orders. We waited a whole hour before the 3 of us were served our food. One meal which was 2 different kinds of wings were overcooked and burnt. Another meal which was Beef Strogonoff was served cold and the beef was cut into small cubes. It was the worst experience ever.
These are both the exact same meals we've ordered many times before and they've always far exceeded our expectations every time before.
If this was our 1st time we ever had eaten at Sasquatch Tavern, we would never return.
Thankfully, it was our 1st and only terrible experience.
To be fair, one of us (1 out of 3) did have an awesome Teriyaki Burger with fantastic fries!
I hope Sasquatch Tavern doesn't make this mistake again when scheduling waitresses and/or the cook.
Such a disappointing visit!

1155 hwy 40 c, VerdiGreat BBQ and steaks. The cowboy tri tip sandwich has a cheader and jalapeño bun. It is simply amazing. Tender beef, deep and tasty BBQ, and I love the bun. Good chowder. The fries were crispy and lightly seasoned. Fantastic selection of beers on tap and a full bar. Others in our party are regulars and they got the Argentine steak, cooked to perfection with a side of chimchurri sauce. Highly recommend!
