1155 Old highway 40 East, VerdiDOG FRIENDLY! This roadtrip we took our 18 month old fur baby & realized the biggest challenge was finding good food that accommodates dogs. The friendly owner, Shauna, was quick to get fresh water for her while seating us. The food was AMAZING! I split the breakfast sandwich w my sister & they served it on separate plates, (classy extra mile). My husband got the Shauna scramble (w spinach) & dang… so good, (it made me question my culinary choice). My coffee snob brother was so impressed with their Blind Dog coffee he ordered a one hot & one iced. I don’t normally drink, but I heard their vodka was local so I tried the bloody Mary & then finished my meal w the sparkling cherry lime soda. Can’t say enough good things about this place. 10/10 would recommend.

Sasquatch Tavern and Grill
775 U.S.40, VerdiExcellent fish and chips, and fun cocktails. We sat on the deck and enjoyed meeting the locals. I forgot to take a photo, but the fish and chips is a huge portion that we were able to share for lunch 👍
