We get out all raw frozen dog food here and being a regular our store manager makes sure to always put aside Phoebe’s food in their special freezer. Today was her 10th birthday and Pet Station gets these beautiful cupcakes made local and doggie and kitty safe, just ask the store clerk and they have all the supplies you need stop in and check out their great line of products.

The dog wash stations made it easy to give Boomer a thorough wash. Everything you need it readily available. Boomer left shiny, fluffy, smelling good and not too sad he had a bath. We will be back.

Pet Station South Meadows
577 S Meadows Pkwy, RenoI was running late and called the store to make sure they were open. I had run out of dog food. The manager, Derik, was so nice. It was 6:55, and they were closing in 5 minutes. I told him I was close, and he asked what type of dog food I needed. Then he told me he would have it at the register, so I could run in and get it. I got there at 7:02, and he was there with a smile and my dog food ready to be purchased.
Most places would have just told me it was too late. The fact that he was compassionate and took the time to help my dog and me is beyond amazing. This place is awesome. I was a regular customer, but now I won't get my Dr. Marty's anywhere else!

145 Hillcrest Drive Ste G, RenoMy dad took my dog here for a toenail trim initially and they were so wonderful, he took my dog back for a bath, anal gland expression, and another toenail trim. My dog does not like having her feet handled and my dad said the woman doing her toenails was expert: she was fast, didn't take too much off the toenails, and when my dog got nervous she would soothe my dog and then when my dog was calm, resume the clipping. My dad said the first toenail clipping took a few minutes and he was blown away with the ease and professionalism of the woman doing the job. He said she had a way with dogs that was apparent from that initial appointment which is why he took my dog back for a full appointment. I have seen my dog post grooming and her coat is gorgeous. Even a month later, I can tell how amazing a job Canine Design did because my dog has a tendency to get knots in her haunches and there were none even a month later. I have a German Shepherd husky mix and all she does is shed and Canine Design curbed a lot of that shedding with their grooming. I was nervous about the blow drying portion of the grooming but talking to Melissa reassured me and I am so glad I trusted my dog to Canine Design.
To set up appointments, I message Melissa and she was wonderful. The level of communication is excellent. I wish they used email but otherwise you cannot go wrong taking your dog to Canine Design.

Midtown Mutts
1426 Tonopah Street, RenoBanjo and I tried a few groomers over the years but quickly saw that Midtown Mutts was the best! They were so gentle and welcoming with him. They also did an excellent job with nail trims. Other groomers struggled with clipping too much and hurting him but not Midtown Mutts. They have the skills and you can tell they truly They have some of the best prices for services also! Thank you for always taking great care of Banjo. ❤🐾

I called a couple places in Reno and I had problems with scheduling etc. It was hard for me to speak to anybody and I wanted to ask some questions because my poodle does get anxious around a lot of other dogs and chaos. When I called this place they answered the phone and it was very easy to make an appointment.
I’m very happy with the grooming that he got here. They cleaned all the hair in his inner ears and I didn’t have to ask them and that’s impressive. Plus they did a great job with his cut.
Very happy we found our new groomer. I highly recommend this place!

Upscale Tail Pet Spa & Grooming
1290 East Plumb Lane Ste c, RenoWe were referred to Kenzie at Upscale Tail by our vet at Mountain View Animal Hospital. Our dog, Petunia, was a rescue and nervous by nature, but she took to Kenzie right away.
The setting is more relaxed and quieter than other places we used in the past. Also, we loved that we could schedule her so she did not have to spend any time waiting in a crate.
Kenzie is an excellent groomer and was able to trim around Petunia's face like no one we had used before.
Sadly, Petunia passed away this month, but we have great appreciation for Kenzie and the wonderful service she provided for us over the years.

6340 Mae Anne Avenue Ste 1, RenoWe have a Doberman puppy that came from the shelter. He was very reactive scared and anxious. It made life difficult in that we would have difficulty in taking out and having interactions with other people and dogs.
We went with Stand Proud after hearing so many friends talk about how great they’ve been. We sent our pup to boarding for 4 weeks and it’s been a day and night change. You get a year of group classes and it is such a valuable experience for our dog. He is still training to be neutral with other dogs but he has done so much better than before.
Would always recommend Stand proud as it has changed our dog’s life and ours.

565 West Moana Lane, RenoDuring the most recent fire, we were evacuated from our home and On Command took Skippy in for overnight boarding, no questions asked. They even booked him an extra night in case we needed it. They gave us great comfort knowing he had a safe place to stay while we figured everything out.
Not only that, but during his other recent stay for a separate vacation, Skippy came back not stressed, clean, and seemingly happy after his 4 day stay. When we dropped him off this time, he was actually excited when we pulled up!
We will be back for any other vacations and other services if needed! Thanks On Command Team!

I am one of *those* dog owners that really takes care of their animal and is very particular about food, exercise, and who I leave them with when I have to go out of town, but I can honestly say when I leave my dog Mick here, I don't even blink on the way out. They are so friendly and my dog never looks distressed when I pick him up (vs. other places I have taken him)! They were even understanding about him being uneasy around men, but by the second boarding, they told me Mick had made friends with the male worker. That doesn't happen often, if at all.
The prices are at the higher end of what I feel I can afford, but absolutely the only way I'd stop taking him here is if it became a bad financial fit. Board your dog here and go on a trip stress free.

Real World Canine

We have both a green dog who is able to do social daycare and a yellow dog who needed individual daycare. Non-social daycare and boarding are tough to come by, until Real World came into our lives. Real World has been an incredible option for both with a team who loves and knows each dog and all their quirks. The non-social daycare felt full with enrichment and fun for our yellow dog, and our green dog loves getting to play with friends.
We recently took our German Shepherd in for one final daycare before he passed and the team went above and beyond. The owner (Jodie) made him a steak and each of the team members who had made such a positive impact on his life signed a beautiful card and brought us flowers (thank you, Haley). We can't say enough wonderful things about RWC or the staff that pours their hearts into each dog they care for.
