I tried other places just to hear them yell at her and be rough with her. But thankfully Fox & Hound is nothing like those other places. They are definitely the place to go if you want your fur baby to be treated with kindness, care and respect. They are fantastic!

111 W Church St, UkiahI opted for their namesake, the oco, and was greeted with an insanely large dish that had noodles wrapped in an omelet vibes rather than a filled pancake vibe. It is a thin pancake topped with a layer of sauteed cabbage, noodles, egg, then your toppings of choice and sauce. It was filling and satisfying. The benefit of this new construction is that the dish can be made vegan and gluten-free - the server confirmed the pancake base is vegan itself and can be made wheat-free. I also opted for their house tea which is roasted rice tea with free refills.

Everything was very rich and flavorful. I didn't need a spicy salsa to bury it in, the food spoke for itself and wasn't afraid to be bold. I came at the brightest time of day but the restaurant maintained a dim and relaxing atmosphere. This place breaks out of the average mexican resuraunt mold and seemingly specializes in their own unique flavor and style. Best meal I've had in months. Extremely fair prices for the quality of food. Thought there was a mistake with my check because it was so cheap. Thank you to the staff. (Try the Chili Colorado Chimichanga)

I was satisfied with everything. Nothing was dried out. This place is worth a shot if you come across it. There was a child grabbing sushi with his bare hands tho, so maybe stay away from the sushi if kids are there. That was unappetizing.

I am mainly a hazy guy, so I had 2 helpings of the sidewalk sign advertised Scissor Face Hazy IPA - AN INSTANT CLASSIC! For my first dinner, I had the Fungi Forage Pizza, most unique entree on the menu which does not have too many choices; too bad all the burgers use brioche buns
