3151 CA-128, PhiloA beautiful, dog-friendly winery in Anderson Valley with gorgeous indoor and outdoor seating. The wine tasting was excellent, and Mary, our sommelier, was great at explaining all the wines. A great find in Anderson Valley and a must-stop if you’re driving through Highway 128!

Check out the (free) memberships, where in addition to covering your tasting (up to 4 people) you get 20% off case of 6 + only $20 shipping (mine went to NY). Plus retail prices here 50% lower than in local grocery stores. Membership covers Roederer also, so if you’re in the area tasting this is a must visit.

Goldeneye
9200 CA-128, PhiloGoldeneye and Duckhorn hands down provide the best wine tasting experience of any winery that i've ever been to. And I've been to my share of them..
The wines are excellent, yes. But what really impresses me is the attention to detail on the wine tasting experience itself. They start you off with a glass at the door. Separate glasses for each wine that you'll be tasting all poured in advance so you can compare them at your discretion. A descriptive printout. Water. Some basic accompaniments. Laid out perfectly. And of course the terrific facilities with shade, nice views, great bathrooms, etc..
Then add to that if you order any of their other accompaniments how tasty and perfectly presented they are. It really is excellent and a very tasty first class experience.
The staff is incredible knowledgeable and warm. No pressure. No rushing you.
Just a great experience start to finish. Thank you to everyone there! We've been to both properties multiple times and I always come away impressed.

Greenwood Ridge Vineyards
5501 CA-128, PhiloGreenwood Ridge Vineyards is a beautiful winery with some wonderful wines (my fave was the 2023 Zinfandel Dragon Reserve)! The service is amazing also shout out to Angel she was very personable and hospitable and gave us all kinds of recommendations for the area! Great convo and wine :) a must stop on the way to the coast!
