The grounds itself are breathtaking, and this is in the beginning of March. I can only imagine the beauty when everything is blooming!!! And they have a donkey!!!!! Heaven!

Terra Sávia Organic Winery & Olive Mill
14200 Mountain House Rd, HoplandWe chose Terra Savia because I’m not drinking alcohol at the moment, and we absolutely love olives and animals, and it ended up exceeding every expectation. While the winery itself is beautiful, what truly made this place unforgettable was the incredible olive mill and the heartwarming animal sanctuary.
The olive oils were phenomenal - fresh, flavorful, and clearly crafted with immense care and passion. The tasting experience was thoughtful and welcoming, and every product reflected the farm’s deep commitment to quality, sustainability, and certified organic practices.
The animal sanctuary was equally special. Seeing rescued animals so well cared for in such a peaceful setting brought so much warmth and meaning to the visit. They were all incredibly friendly, and it’s rare to find a place that combines beauty, ethics, and hospitality so seamlessly.
What makes the place especially unique is that the owners/hosts, Jurg and Yvonne, built it around a philosophy of organic farming, land stewardship, olive cultivation, rescued animals, and sustainable agriculture, which is probably why it feels so personal and soulful when you visit.
Even without drinking wine, we felt completely immersed in everything Terra Savia has to offer. The entire property radiates authenticity, kindness, and love for the land. Jurg and Yvonne were wonderful hosts - warm, engaging, and full of fascinating stories. The setting was stunning, and the entire experience felt both relaxing and inspiring.
Terra Savia is so much more than a winery, it’s a place with soul. Highly, highly recommended.

Osha Thai Hopland
13351 US-101, HoplandWe are so fortunate to have a fine dining Thai restaurant in the Hopland/Ukiah area. It is a wonderful addition to our local dining options (we need more).
The food was authentic, the presentation was beautiful, and the portions were very generous. We particularly enjoyed the delicious papaya salad and appreciated that it could be made vegetarian by excluding the fish sauce. The eggplant dish was also very tasty.
Owner Puck is a courteous and engaging host. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

13380 US-101, HoplandThis is seriously good food. The smoked pork chop is pricey, yes, but IMHO worth every penny - it's really that good. The lasagna was also first-rate. We had the double watermelon tequila drink which was awesome too. Highly recommended!
