“So it’s been exactly 1 week since I got my car back from the shop ?I had an electrical issue. (Wires)When I would press the start button to turn off my car, the engine wouldn’t shut off right away. It would take a few minutes. It would shake until it would force itself off… then my headlight would turn itself ON. (Yes, the lights were OFF) So b/c there was no other way for me to turn off, a button that was already off.. it would kill my battery… which would make me jump my car every other day when it wouldn’t turn off properly.Anyway… I had already made an appointment at a Ford dealership in San Leandro for an oil change.. then I included the issue above. I had my car there for a lil over a week, I spoke with him the weekend after drop off (monday), and the day of pick up (the next Monday). I couldn’t get a hold of him throughout the time my car was getting looked at.I called & spoke w/a few other ppl then I eventually spoke w/manager who told me he would get the guy assigned to me to reach out, which he never did. When I picked up the car, they said they couldn’t find anything.A day after, the car started doing the same thing, I dropped my car off after hours (b/c of work)Spoke to someone new, asked for someone different for the lack of communication, the new guy didn’t like that so much, so I took my car to the Ford dealership in Fremont,They ran another diagnostic (2), they too said they could not find anything, but that my oil was over filled & that I needed another one (drain out and put new), something about a lid under the hood needed fixing which would cost $1800, and I have bad tires in the front. They too had issues with communication, but it was kinda better then San Leandro..+ it was there a lil over a week b/c I had to wait 3 days for someone to run a diagnostic ?I honestly felt discouraged, and I didn’t know who to trust.Then I went ahead and took it to Managal Motors, because I remember having a good experience with my rotors getting replaced a few years ago.I called in, I dropped my car off the day of. I was told that they were going to run another diagnostic (3) and that it would take some time to find out the issue of the car. They called for questions about it before working on it, plus called in again to let me know what they were doing, and what he thought the issue might be, and then I got a text of a receipt & a call it was ready. I dropped it off before their shopped closed on a Tuesday, and got the car back on Monday (they had it fixed less then a week!)I haven’t had any issues with the engine turning off, or no spooky lights turning on by itself since ☺️☺️☺️☺️ & I was also told about my bad ties in front. (Which I did know about, I had my back tires changed, and I was working towards the front… anyway) I felt like they actually took the time out to find out what was wrong w/ my car, & kept in communication, and my car wasn’t even with them for a whole week.I’m not sorry for the long review, I’ve been really frustrated with the lost of money,time and lack of communication and trust. I’m so thankful that my car is back up n running.? THANK YOU MANGALE MOTORS!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!Ps. I had some burnt wires (from a car accident) that needed to be replaced, and the total cost was $537.69Which includes a diagnostic, parts, & labor.”

I consider myself lucky, Henry was amazing to work with! He gave me an honest quote with options for OEM or third party parts and explained what the quote did and didn't include.As an engineer who tries to do as much maintenance on my car as I can, I appreciated the way Henry talked me through what he was going to do and what they might find. It's a huge amount of work to get the transmission out of the car and I agreed with him about replacing the main engine bearing/seal while there was access. It's not an upsell, it's common sense and I feel like Henry's explanations throughout the whole process would make sense to even those who are less mechanically inclined. He sent me pictures of the damage they found and pictures of everything sparkling clean before they put it all back together.It sounds like this shop has been around for a long time and I hope it stays in business for a long time to come. I won't hesitate to bring my car back to Henry if it needs transmission work in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone in the area.”

“I spent weeks trying to figure out why my engine wasn't getting sufficient gas. Ken is very knowledgeable and diagnosed my 280zx. Turns out my fuel injectors were clogged due to my fuel filter deteriorating along with some other things. I would trust this man to restore my car to 100 percent, but unfortunately I don't have the money for that so Ken replaced my distributor, fuel filter, fuel injector, fuel pump, and ignition coil instead haha.On the day I came to pick up the car he drove it up front and noticed some last minute behaviors and said "I'm sorry I can't give you something that isn't perfect". That moment right there was when I knew Ken truly CARES (obviously I knew before that moment). They have been cheaper than other places I looked into but I feel like they always do great work. And I trust them more than any other mechanic I've ever had. I feel like they have my best interest at heart. One time I had my brakes need repair far sooner than expected. The dealership did not want to honor the warranty and were asking me to pay for the repair because of "wear and tear". So I brought my car to M&R (because I would rather pay them). And they told me to fight my dealership about the warranty. “I drive for a living so my car is my business and it is important that I trust the people working on it. Mark and his brothers are the best in the Bay Area. Very down to earth people. Someone I could trust was very very important to me and I found it with Mark and his brothers. I had a noise coming from my transmission and had it looked at by several transmission services professionals here in the Fremont area. One guy told me my transmission was a CVT, I asked him how he know that and he said we just know. So he sent me off and told me just drive it till it gives out and comeback when you need a new one. That very same day I went to Marks and asked them "Do I have a CVT transmission?" They knew from years of experience that Toyota puts a sticker on the inside of the drivers door that says what transmission the car has and guess what... "It wasn't a CVT!" on top of that they drove my car with me in it, hooked up a diagnostic tool and explained to me what they were looking for and why they were looking for it. I don't understand cars but I do greatly appreciate them explaining to me what they were looking for. I'll keep the story short. Ultimately, they didn't sell me a new transmission, they had an additive that makes the transmission fluid more sticky and in my particular case that's what they recommend. That same day, I had that done and bam. My transmission felt like brand new again. Mark and his brothers have earned my business for life. Anything I need related to my engine or transmission they will be the first ones I call. No second and third opinions needed. I trust that what they tell me will be their best recommendation for whatever it is that I need. Mark and brothers, I bless your business with love, light and abundance. May you prosper in all ways. “Mike is so great, the first time I went here was about a month ago when I was looking for somewhere convenient to do an oil change that I was due for and I usually go to jiffy lube but it was t convenient for me to go there at the time and I searched for oil changes in the area and found mikes shop and called him and was able to drop off my car within 5 minutes of my call with him about a oil change service. Him and his mechanic were extremely kind and welcoming.As we know being a woman is not easy taking your car to a shop, but they made me feel comfortable and that my car was in good hands. They did my oil change and gave me recommendations for future services as they found the oil plug was not secured properly from my last oil service at jiffy lube. They never pressured me into any other services.Recently my car would not turn over and when I finally got it turned on and was headed in their directions I gave them a call explaining what had happened, Mike remembered be from my previous oil change and told me to bring it by and he and his mechanic took a look at it for me and tested the battery for me and advised me it was getting old and low charge on it. He did not pressure me to get the battery changed there and just gave his advice it was getting old and would have a couple months possibly. I of course did not want to take that risk and asked if he could change it that day if they had time. And he took my car right then and told me he would give me a call once they had the battery to give me the price. He is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I will be coming back here for any future issues with my car and for routine maintenance as I have found a place I trust.”

“Top notch shop to take your Porsche or any European cars. Sanders used to be the master mechanic at Porsche Marin who really only knows his trade! They did an excellent job replacing the clutch on my 911 turbo. I also brought my Audi S4 for regular maintenance with the same quality result. May need to schedule weeks in advance as they are extremely busy.”

Now, he could easily have taken my money and done this major repair, but he actually cautioned us against this and suggested we pursue help from the manufacturer since my car wasn’t very old, and had fairly low mileage.
