“I stopped there on the tail end of a long bike ride. There was such a nice vibe going on with some of the customers just hanging out and being friendly and jovial. The man behind the counter greeted me and asked me about my ride. Nice people and a great selection of drinks and snacks. I'm making this food mart a regular stop on my rides.”

“It's Halloween season and the Vallejo farmers market is ready with seasonal produce. As before I didn't spot carving pumpkins. I assume you have to go to a pumpkin patch. The fruits of the season, plums, persimmons and more were displayed in bountiful splendor. The fruits of the sea were well represented- oysters, fish, shrimp. Wish I had noticed this last time. I could have planned a little better and gotten something going. One of the venders was selling Asian dim sum treats. But I had loaded up on vegetables from my fav farmer. I was too loaded to carry anymore long before I got all the items on my wishlist. Clearly, I need to get a little shopping cart. Or perhaps the market does?As usual the parking was busy. Ended up parking in an empty lot that belonged to a business. Luckily they were closed. But shhhh....”

“The customer service at Bazaar is on another level. The owner is a master of taking care of his customers. If you're looking for a particular product, he doesn't point, he walks you over. If you ever have an issue with a purchase, he makes it right plus some. Pair that with the best selection of middle eastern and Indian goods around and you have place you can trust, rely on for your needs, and look forward to visiting.”

“Decided to try a different deli today and went to J & O's. I had a pastrami on rye with mustard pickle and provolone. Well balanced sandwich. My wife had Ham and pepper Jack on a soft roll while our friend had Turkey and cheddar on a soft roll. All meats, cheeses and spreads were Boar's Head product. Everything was good. We will come back to try other sandwiches.”

“Great customer service! I was hesitant to go to this Grocery Outlet based on the reviews….. but one Tuesday evening I was nearby the area so I decided to check it out. I’m so glad I did. The staff here is super nice. Upon entering the security guard welcomed me into the store. Everything was neatly organized and the store was clean and tidy. The cashier was also very nice. He was patient with my questions. Even the lady who was restocking was nice and friendly. I would definitely return to shop here again. Kudos to the staff.”

“They had what I needed for a reasonable price too. The guy inside was nice, people in the area not so much lol. Ran across this by chance it's a hole in the wall definitely worth checking out for the simple corner store things, & it's quick. Only thing I didn't like is, you will totally bottom out your car pulling in and out if you're not paying attention, it's all bumpy concrete. Other than that I'd go back :)!”

“I like coming here especially after I am done with my appointments at Kaiser Permanente Hospital right across the street. I buy lottery and gas here. They used to sell alcoholic beverages but they lost their license about 2 or 3 years ago. Which is why they now have Krispy Krunchy Chicken taking up the empty space.Jimmy, the proprietor, is a nice man. So was his quiet, beautiful wife Helen. Sadly, she died of cancer less than a year ago. She was still young, in her late 50s or early 60s! ?”

“My go to place for burritos and tacos. Most authentic Mexican food in Vallejo. Down to the beans you can taste the simplistic Mexican seasonings. Aside from their hot food, they have a large selection of fresh meats. The ground beef is lean and the asada taste great. The produce is also fresh. The entire place is extremely clean and the staff are kind.”

“What a great place to shop, easy in and out and it has an armed security guard, and that's important in today's world. The folks in the homeless encampment next door don't bother anyone and keep to themselves for the most part, and the city comes by regularly to keep things in order. Shop the deals and sales to get the best prices and you'll save big money.5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆”

“My friends and I were in the area and we were hungry for delicious Filipino food. I was hoping we could find Capampangan cuisine as they whip up the best Pinoy food, in my opinion. We searched Yelp and came across Selecta. We didn't expect too much from an all you can eat place with a very reasonable price but we got pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious with good variety. The spread had all of the Filipino food you can think of: sinigang, pancit, lumpia, pakbet, rellenong bangus, another fish dish, kare-Kare, fried chicken, picadillo, and a few more! They had leche flan and ginataan for dessert. The ginatan was the best! The flan was a bit burnt at the bottom but it' was still good. Their pancit and pakbet were one of the best I've had. The matured men tending the buffet were the cooks and they happen to be Capampangan. No wonder the food was delicious!! The experience was like visiting the home of your grandma. It was relaxed with so much good food. The owner is hands-on. He served us, talked to us and gave us an insight of what it's like to do business these days. Everyone in the store is friendly and courteous. They took time to answer all our questions. The place holds two businesses: a store and a restaurant. Ambiance is relaxed and casual. It's spacious and clean. It wasn't too busy on a Sunday lunch. Please support this business. You won't be disappointed. Price is very reasonable with lots of delicious food. What else can you ask for?”
