“Just purchased a couch and love seat there for a great price! The owner was very sweet and they also own a U-haul company out of the same location which was very convenient. I rented a truck and took home my furniture; I was in and out and returned the truck in less than an hour. Very pleased with them and will be back”

“I'm an obsessive perfectionist. I don't just willy-nilly buy things. There is always an exhausting amount of research that takes place before anything I purchase (or do for that matter). I usually rely on yelp reviews to a certain extent. And I also take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. So... I liked Design Furnishing ease of information website and prices. I was about to confirm my order when I paused to check their reviews - ouch. After reading everyone's negative reviews I was a bit nervous about my purchase but I trusted my gut and went against the masses. I am very pleased to say that I am glad I did. The website order went flawless - I got a email receipt and confirmation - it was $500 cheaper than all other competitors (like Wayfair, Walmart, and such) - I obsessively spoke, emailed, and chatted with their customer service the days following to ease my mind and each interaction was pleasant and prompt - I got an email days later saying my order had shipped - 6 days from my purchase date the delivery company called me to schedule my delivery time - my order was delivered to my doorstep in 7 days from purchase date - each piece was separately boxed and protected with bubble wrap nicely - and the last and most important part - my $2,300 patio set looks perfect with zero damage. I am 100% happy and will order from them again in the future. I think I have an insight as to why all the negative reviews. 1. It's outside furniture. People need to have realistic expectations. Wicker furniture is not to the 90% degree perfect. And the sun and weather degrade outside furniture quick. Because of this no outside furniture retailer has predominately good reviews. So that's a source of half the negative reviews right there. 2. In Design Furnishings effort to cover their butts (with delivery damage, unrealistic expectations, etc, etc), they go above and beyond to spell out what, where, how, and the whys of product damage, replacements, and returns. So much so in fact, I believe by the time your set arrives the consumer has already come to the conclusion that they will hate it or find a default or damage. Design furnishings could do a better job in this area - to better frame people's expectations. In the era of Amazon where you can take a crap on something and still return it we consumers are defiantly spoiled. But possibly a happy medium should be sought - how I have no idea.”

“Drive up is super quick! Love the friendly staff, make sure you check in with their app before going to pick up your drive up order, that way they'll have your bags ready in their carts when you arrive. FYI if you check in after you've parked, please be patient because they have to grab your bags from the shelves before they come out with them.”
