Theresa's Country Feed & Pet Westlake Village
111 S Westlake Blvd Suite #101, Westlake VillageThis is a great pet food store. They have a good mix of regular and premium brands. They're also good with refunds. They gave me store credit when I returned something after 30 days. The staff is young, friendly, cheerful and helpful.
I've been shopping here for 2 years and I plan to return often.

Fur-Ever Grooming
4637 Lakeview Canyon Rd, Westlake VillageIt’s can be challenging to find a good, reliable, professional groomer when traveling from out of town but I was fortunate to find Fur-Ever Grooming located near our summer rental. Paige gave my 5 month old labradoodle her first puppy trim and was super gentle with her - as she was my 10 and a half year old girl who tends to get nervous. Both dogs looked great after their respective groomings and most importantly I knew they were in capable hands.

Dog Beauty Salon. Wellness Grooming, Boutique, Treat Bar, Daycare
2900 Townsgate Rd #107, Westlake VillageMarcela is so friendly , knowledgeable and meticulous that it is always a pleasure to come see her. Not only is the place squeaky clean and looks out of a canine vogue magazine with treats , little outfits and doggie treats but it’s the way she respects the dogs and loves her job.
It totally shows!
Our dog loooooves her and her salon because of the attention ( she never rushes but takes her time ) and of course those cool doggie treats she always gives him.
If you want a dog spa that won’t stress your pup , takes its time to trim nails, brush and trim in a leisurely fashion and pamper them to the kilts this place is THE PLACE to go.

Anza Animal Clinic
3575 Thousand Oaks Blvd, Westlake VillageDr. Anderson and his staff are fantastic. I had a very sick Sulcata Tortoise. I called approximately 20+ veterinarians trying to get an immediate appointment but was unable to for at least 5 days out. I was very afraid my tortoise wouldn’t make it. Then I found Anza Animal Clinic. They were able to get him in very quickly. Needless to say my tortoise is on the road to recovery thanks to Dr. Anderson and his staff.
Dr. Anderson and his staff are kind, empathetic and truly amazing. I’ve seen/met many veterinarians over the years, but Dr. Anderson is by far # 1 with me. I highly recommend Anza Animal Clinic.

The Barkley Pet Hotel and Day Spa
31166 Via Colinas, Westlake VillageWe have a puppy, Cody, who we needed to put in day care many times & overnight because of family issues out of town. Robert, Caitlin, Meghan & the rest of the staff at the Barkley were wonderful with Cody and made our having to leave town less stressful because we knew he would be well taken care of. Cody loves going to the Barkley! They are always cordial, no matter how busy they are, and prompt whenever we had a question about a bill or our "punch card"

Banfield Pet Hospital
30849 E Thousand Oaks Blvd, Westlake Village? Zelda's on a diet! We visited Gabi P. today for a weight check (which we totally aced... not! ?), and to get some bloodwork done to see if she can stay on her anti-inflammatory medication. Gabi was fantastic! She explained everything clearly and kept me in the loop when we needed a few extra tests. Plus, she sent us home with a bag of low-calorie Royal Canin kibble - fingers crossed Zelda gives it two paws up!

Pet Sitting & Training

Matan Dog Training
742 Hampshire Rd a, Westlake VillageI am extremely happy with the training at Matan and have recommended Matan Dog Training to many people. I currently attend the group classes with Amelia ongoing. She is a fantastic and experienced trainer and each class is different, challenging the dogs and owners with different exercises and scenarios. I was also able to work with owner Matan in a few classes. It is clear that he not only loves dogs but he has extensive knowledge regarding their behavior and their training.
I have a working line German Shepherd who was a MAJOR handful. She used to bark and growl at all dogs and walking her was a huge chore. She was extremely reactive. She will always be a reactive natured dog who does not like to be around other dogs, but by attending the group classes she has learned that it is ok to be around dogs, and that she needs to be obedient and appropriate even when she is feeling uncomfortable. This training keeps her on track so that now she can be walked on the street with no or minimal reaction to other dogs. Most of the time she just looks at them now and checks back in with me. It’s really great. Such an improvement.
Additionally, being of working lineage, she always wants something to do. She actually loves the training and can’t wait to go to class. She happily jumps into the car when I say “ do you want to go to work?”. Her heeling, sit stay, down stay and come are all very good from the ongoing work we have done at Matan.
The classes are fantastic and it’s great working with Amelia. I would highly recommend getting your dog assessed and joining us in the groups!

Finney's Crafthouse - Westlake Village
982 S Westlake Blvd #2, Westlake VillageFinney’s is hands-down one of the best sports bars in the area. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick snack, enjoying one of their many beers on draft, or catching the big game, Finney’s delivers every time.
The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, making it the perfect spot for hanging out with friends, enjoying a date night, or just relaxing solo at the bar. The menu is extensive, the food comes out quickly, and everything is very reasonably priced compared to similar places in town.
If you’re looking for a great spot to watch sports, enjoy a wide beer selection, and grab quality food without breaking the bank, Finney’s is the place to be. You won’t regret it.

Moody Rooster
2900 Townsgate Rd UNIT 113, Westlake VillageEach time I come here the food and service are amazing! I like how the chef has interesting flavors and gets produce from the farmers market. Sometimes their flavors sound unusual but when I taste them all together, it just is so delectable. This is my favorite place to go when I am either treating myself or celebrating with friends because the food is wonderful and the presentation is artful.

Nonna
951 S Westlake Blvd #102, Westlake VillageIt was a very nice experience. A little loud but festive. My wife's brazino was amazing. I ordered the short ribs ... a bit too rich for my taste but see how others would enjoy it. In the past I have ordered the salmon and the pork cops and these have been great. The bread and the dried tomato sauce is so good and hard to stop. The service was outstanding. The cocktails were excellent. I would go again and again.

The Nutrition Fix
3900 E Thousand Oaks Blvd ste 202, Westlake VillageLove this place, and apparently, so does everybody else. In fact, the place always has healthy and happy customers from all walks of life and all ages. The shakes and turbo teas are very healthy and delicious. I know right? I couldn't believe it either until I started reading all the ingredients. I guess the secret is out...no wonder the place is always jumping. Well, I hope I see you there. I go in a few times a week to power up for my trail runs. Others go there to have something healthy as a meal replacement or achieve their fitness goals. I've seen many seniors there too, looking young and fit. I see why I am not the only one who loves this place.
