For celebrations we buy the jumbo pizzas - cheese and pepperoni for the kids, bbq chicken and traditional veggie for the adults. The jumbo is massive and perfect for sharing. It's become a family tradition for us, and everyone looks forward to D'Amore's pizza night.
If you are driving into Malibu for a beach day, call ahead and order a pizza. With their location right off of pch and the parking lot right out front, it's the easiest curbside food pick up on your way to the beach.
If you're looking for local business worth supporting, D'Amore's Pizza is a Malibu institution that never disappoints.

22333 CA-1 Suite 160, MalibuI was visiting Malibu and driving around and found this coffee shop. Easy to park, really friendly barista, plenty of space to sit down an have bathrooms. I got a barista’s recommendation “Honey Buzz”. The barista mare me half decaf because I am pretty sensitive for caffeine. Honey Buzz was nice and sweet but not crazy sweet and taste the lavender. I really loved it and would definitely stop by next time :)

Servers name was monnie I believe and folks lemme tell ya, never in my 19 years of life have I ever had such a fantastic and caring server in my life. Did NOT expect this caliber of person from cali but to my surprise he was the goat. Also a woman who brought it to us was very sweet. ALL around good people. Oh and the food gas too?(promote Mr. Monnie to manager btw)

First day, hubby had the burger…amazing and I had the Tortilla salad…wow!! The white iced tea was refreshing. The second day we shared the crab cakes and the Lobster sliders and those can’t be beat!! The mimosas were delicious because they fresh squeeze the orange juice every morning. If we lived closer this would be a spot we would frequent! It is a must if you are at the Seaport Village in San Diego!!

The one thing I asked my son and bride to be was the importance of the food for the guests ( I didn't need to ask since they are both foodie connoisseurs ). But all our guests enjoyed the hors d'oeuervs, and complimented on the dinners. You get what you pay for and this was great. I can't say much about the service since their wedding planner coordinated everything, but the venue and the food is beautiful and good. The newlyweds stayed 3 nights there and it was luxurious!

Nothing about it felt premium, nothing about it felt exclusive. Service was weak, atmosphere was worse, just all around bad. Makes you wonder if Ashton Kutcher and the exec team even know what’s going on over there, because this House should be delisted immediately. Total mess.

3835 Cross Creek Rd, MalibuInside the courtyard of the Malibu County Mart sits John's Garden, an unassuming little sandwich shop with snacks and drinks galore to go with a large menu of various classics and creative twists on old themes. It is Malibu, so you will not find any bargains here - even the cheapest vegetarian option clocks in at about $16 and add-ons can get your sandwich over $20+ if you are feeling extravagant. They also have salads and soups that looked appetizing. My favorite thing was the Bu-Berry Smoothie. I was wondering how the students from Pepperdine could afford to eat here, but then I remembered where I was, and swallowed the thought along with my smoothie.
Picnic tables in both sun and shade make it easy to grab a quality lunch and soak up the atmosphere. I'd say check it out, it's good stuff.

He came in needing multiple procedures including a hernia repair, neuter surgery, and a toe amputation, and the team treated him with such urgency, compassion, and kindness from the moment we arrived.
You can truly tell that everyone here genuinely cares about animals and the families who love them. The staff was patient, professional, and reassuring during a very emotional and stressful time for me. Sweetheart is already doing so much better, and I cannot thank them enough for giving him the care he needed.
Organizations like this are such a blessing to the community. Their dedication to helping animals, regardless of circumstances, is absolutely amazing. Thank you again to the entire Sam Simon Foundation team for your kindness, urgency, compassion, and for helping save and improve Sweetheart’s quality of life. We will never forget it. ❤️
