Update 2026: they moved a few doors down and they are still doing amazing. Still offering the same quality pet food and rewards. They've always had a pet wash but I only starting using it this year and it is a great option. You get 30min, small bottle of shampoo, 2 towels, and the use of a high speed blow dryer all for $10, can't beat that! I love coming to this pet store for all my pet needs.”

“A quick cat food run turned into a full afternoon outing for the dog, and honestly, that’s the sign of a good pet store. The Arapahoe Crossings location has a self-serve dog wash setup tucked into the store, so on a whim we decided to give our pup a bath while we were there, no appointment, no fuss, just walked in and used it.
The wash stations were clean and easy to use, with everything you need laid out so you’re not improvising with regular shampoo from home. My dog came out smelling great and noticeably happier (she’s a fan of the blow dry at the end, which is more than I can say for the bath itself). After all that effort, she earned a reward, so we let her pick out a bone and a toy to take home letting your dog “choose” is a small thing, but it’s the kind of detail that makes a trip feel like an event instead of an errand.
What really made the visit, though, was Holly. She was running the store solo and still managed to be warm, attentive, and genuinely good with everyone who came through, people and dogs alike. She checked in on us during the wash, helped without hovering, and clearly knows the regulars (furry and otherwise). Running a store alone during a busy stretch isn’t easy, and she made it look effortless while still being personable with every customer.
This isn’t a flashy big-box pet store — it’s the kind of place that feels like the neighborhood spot, where the staff actually care about your animals and the experience isn’t just transactional. If you’re in the Arapahoe Crossings area and need supplies, food, or want to give your dog a proper wash without the groomer price tag, it’s worth the stop.
Best for: dog owners who want a DIY bath option, anyone who likes a personal touch from staff, quick supply runs that turn into something more fun for your pet.

“I bought my kitten Minx back in April 2023 from Natalya. Not only was my experience with Natalya amazing but her kittens are the most precious! Minx is super sweet, playful, talkative, and healthy. Minx’s favorite game to play is tag I’ll hide, and minx will “hunt me” then when she finds me she taps me with her paw and darts off. Her nickname is soft paws because she so gentle when she plays. She is the best cat I’ve ever had and I will only buy from Natalya. Everyone who meets Minx is in awe of her and I can’t help but share where I got this beautiful cat from.”

“This was a very quick and simple process. Made an appointment, fill out a form online, came to the Petco, answered questions on what services needed, walked my dog back, quick check up and 2 shots. We were in and out of the building in under 20 minutes. The ladies working were very sweet, probably the easiest shots visit I’ve ever had with my dog. And 3-year Rabies and another shot were $90!”
“Delivered here 3 times. If you're on time, it's typically less than an hour. If you are late, you get moved to the end of the line. Backing can be tricky since you're backing in off the street, and the JB Hunt trailers make it tighter.”

“We did a private trading class with the dog trainer and it was a great. He really helped us figure out how to handle our dog’s behavior. We will definitely be signing up for the group class when our schedule frees up. Only bummer, and this is not the dog trainers fault at all, is that the training area they give the dog trainer is tiny.”

“I moved to Colorado about a year ago and needed to find a groomer for my three curly haired pups, and wanted to give this Petco a try before looking for a boutique or something else local. I met Lauren in February 2025 and she's a keeper. She's got such a sweet soul, always doing her best to care for customers and their dogs, is always communicative, predictable every single time with both the procedures in checking the pups in and the product of the haircuts, attentively points out if she finds anything amiss (like a bump showed up on one of my girls that I hadn't found yet), helps my anxious boy settle into the groom every single time, and has always been on time for drop offs and pickups. Even when staff at the salon have quit, she's the life that holds the place together. Lauren is truly my favorite person at Petco and I don't really pray, but if I did, I would pray that Lauren would never leave this salon ??? She's earned my loyalty to this salon and this Petco; if she leaves, I will, too.”
“Brought in our baby girl cause she was itching her ears and the staff was so nice and informative! They gave us the pricing before they did anything. We could hear the staff playing with her when they took her in the back to treat her ears. Great service and it wasn’t that expensive! Definitely recommend.”

“This Petco is good. I have moved away from the area and miss it dearly in my new neighborhood. I happened to be on my old area and took the opportunity to visit this location again. Petco stores seem to be a hir or miss, especially if you are shopping for aquatics including live fish and plants. This one is a hit. Someone is always available to assist. If no one is available, management promptly will find someone or jump into action themselves. This is not my experience I'm other Petcos in the metro area. Keep up the good work at this location .hope to see improvement in others .
