“For the first time in months even after going to a podiatrist and getting custom insoles for $550 and injections I was able to walk out of the store with less pain. I worked with Beau who understood my every need. He even gave me slippers due to the pain i was in while he worked out the details. I am greatful for being able to walk without a limp again. My go-to for shoes, packs, gels/nutrition, socks, bottles, and clothes. When buying shoes, employees here are so great at helping to find the best shoe for what I need, no matter how many I try on or how long it takes. They also have a 30 day return window for shoes, worn or not, which is ???

“I can't say enough about Mike and Governor's Plaza Shoes. The zipper on my leather pocket book was broken. I thought it would be a big (costly) repair, but it wasn't. Mike was able to fix it in about 20 minutes while I waited and the price was incredible fair. When I asked how I could rejuvenate the leather, he used a cream polish to see how effective it would be. It looked wonderful and I asked if I could purchase a small container for future use. My husband and I will definitely use Mike for any shoe (or pocket book ( needs we have in the future. Thank you, Mike!”

“Came in for a shoe fitting for my wedding and spent an hour learning about shoes and trying things on. Got a pair of pikolinos and they even added tongue padding to help them fit better on my right foot. Great selection and great service.”
“I ordered two pair of boots from Berkeley supply. When they arrived, there was an issue with one of them, a pair of factory seconds Red Wing 9423 Beckmans (Black Excalibur). In the 9423 box was a pair of 9419 Beckmans (Black Cherry Excalibur). I was worried that I would not be able to return them since the site states there are no returns, exchanges, or refunds on factory seconds. I emailed them and Eli quickly got back with me. He stated that this switch up had never happened before and must have been an issue from Red Wing. In the end, he covered the cost for return shipping, the box FedEx required me to purchase, and issued a refund for the original purchase price of the 9423s. Eli and his crew were great throughout the whole process. I ended up going back to them and bought two more pairs of boots and look forward to their arrival.”

“Helpful staff. They speak both English and Spanish. They give you time to try and decide, they are helpful when you ask questions. I recommend they stock on socks to help clients try on the boots. I also recommend they include the tax in the price so it is clear how much you end up paying. I wish they had more models of boots. Other than that good experience and I got what I came for.”

“Had a great experience at Runner's Roost, with the help of Sandra. I was directed to check them out by my doctor due to knee, ankle, hip pain with arthritis. It was an alignment issue with old shoes that was causing the damage. Sandra took the time and help find the correct pair after several tries/walking. I am currently in a Hoka Gaviota, and have greatly reduced that pain, and back up to my walking routine. Shout out to Runner's Roost, and especially to Sandra making the effort to make those corrections.”
