Lyn at the paint counter was also wonderful and prompt, also answering all my questions and getting my paints ASAP. The service counter was also great when I needed to return some things and even unable to find my receipt they were quick to find it for me in the computer.”

“We drove an hour and a half to pickup an order from Lowe’s only to find out that the items were not actually in stock despite everyone’s computers showing 122 as being available. My wife spent almost two hours in Lowe's trying to sort it all out only to come home empty handed. I asked her to request lowe’s to deliver the item to us and she was told that we’d have to call back another day to make those arrangements. Ironically we then ordered the exact same item from this HD… and they had the exact same problem… only 10 in stock when we needed 25. The difference? The HD manager (Jeff) immediately arranged for delivery to our jobsite from the DC. Actually it was even faster than the next business day, he arranged delivery on Memorial Day… a holiday. That was a lot of wasted time and effort trecking to Lowe’s for this item we needed… and you can see the side by side difference as to Lowe’s vs. HD’s resolution. Lowe’s added another todo for another day (which is busy enough already)… HD got it done.”

He helped me with a range of different things that I needed and was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful with everything (not to mention patient with my really basic questions). He even took the time to explain how to install something, along with the tools I'd need, and found ways to save me money with my purchases. Can't say enough great things about Jeff!”
“Liu in the rental center was extremely helpful. I had issues with the clear process for renting equipment, and he spent nearly 20 minutes helping fix it. The truck was clean, in great condition, and for a reasonable price. Definitely will be renting again from here.”

“Great place to find just about anything. Most of the salespeople are friendly, able & more than willing to help totally incompetent craft people like me with projects. If need be they will usually offer great suggestions that can be of help. As an all thumbs single woman I couldn't manage without Home Depot. It's even a great place to buy orchids sometimes.”

“Rented a van to move some lumber. Very helpful staff that was able to help me out.
The only problem was with some misleading information about filling up the tank. I was informed that I would be refunded whatever I filled up the tank with and I just needed to bring the receipt in. Turns out this was wrong. During checkout the woman working there tried to tell me it would be refunded separately? It made no sense but after a few minutes of trying to get more clarification I gave up and left. The woman was not able to refund me like she promised and this didn’t surprise the other rental worker who was able to straighten things out a few weeks later when I went to ask for the refund.
Good, affordable rental for a short haul. DO NOT FILL UP THE TANK.”

“We bought a bathtub and the remodel took longer than expected. When it was time to install the tub we realized that is was the wrong handed. It was over a year old. We returned it to the store and the store manager went above and beyond. We got a store credit which was more than we paid (the price went up over the year). Couldn't be happier with the customer service we received. Even the customer service representative was helpful and did everything they could to try to return it before calling the store manager.”
“Great store. Check out their Graber Shop at Home program for custom window treatments. They guide you thru the process of helping you choose your blinds, shades, shutters or drapery, simplifying your purchase. They also have great professional installers! I loved my Design Consultant and the consultation and measure were complimentary!”

“We want to thank Tanya, Kitchen Designer at store #1514 for all the hard work she put into designing our kitchen. We had gone to several other kitchen design places, (some we even paid a small fee, to) before we settled on Home Depot, because we were skeptical of going to a "big box" store for this big of a home project. We found the specialized Kitchen Design places continually trying to upsell their products and services because they worked on commission. Other Kitchen Design places didn't want to take the time to listen to want we wanted but wanted us to make quick decisions so they could move on to another client and more commissions. However, Tanya, Kitchen Designer at Home Depot #1514, took time to really listen to our wants and needs and did her best to design the kitchen with that in the forefront of her mind. She was always responsive when we had a question or concern. We are nearing our project completion and couldn't be happier with our kitchen and the help we received from Tanya, Kitchen Designer at the Alameda and Pierce store in Lakewood.”

“I rarely do reviews but I wanted to give this group 5 stars for providing exceptional service and a great product and buying/renting experience. I'm renting to own a beautiful couch from these guys, the couch came promptly on the date scheduled, no charge for delivery and installation, and they even called me 3 weeks after delivery to check up on things. Great job guys and I will be back!”
