It was obvious that they genuinely love and care for every dog as if they were their own.
Ellie and Stella were happy, comfortable, and excited to be there. That gave us complete peace of mind while we were traveling. Knowing they were in such caring hands made our trip so much more enjoyable.
We wouldn't hesitate to bring them back, and we highly recommend Ouray Boarding Company to anyone looking for a place that truly treats your dogs like family. 🐾

Cahoots Tavern
Upstairs, 929 Main Street, OurayMy buddies and I stopped into Cahoots before and after a backpacking trip, and we had an absolute blast both times. We watched the Bears vs. Eagles game there and, despite it being a Packers bar, were treated with the perfect amount of playful teasing and respect.
The best way I can describe Cahoots is that it feels like someone picked up a great little bar from the Northwoods and dropped it right into Ouray. There’s cool vintage stuff everywhere you look, but somehow it never feels cluttered. Everything seems like it has a story and a place.
Fun, eclectic, welcoming, and full of character. Exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble into on a trip. We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in Ouray.

441 Main Street, OuraySmall family run bakery & cafe off Main Street in one of the older building. We stopped in for lunch after hiking into Box Canyon. We ordered the turkey salad with cranberries on wheat and the Italian on a hoagie. The meat was warmed and cheese melted. We picked up a baguette to go for back in camp.
