We are very particular about who we trust with Ellie and Stella, and Ouray Boarding Company exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. It was obvious that they genuinely love and care for every dog as if they were their own.
Ellie and Stella were happy, comfortable, and excited to be there. That gave us complete peace of mind while we were traveling. Knowing they were in such caring hands made our trip so much more enjoyable.
We wouldn't hesitate to bring them back, and we highly recommend Ouray Boarding Company to anyone looking for a place that truly treats your dogs like family. 🐾

Upstairs, 929 Main St, OurayBar always has the game on whether its basketball, hockey, or this time of year world cup. If its not on you can just ask and the bartender will put on whatever you want. Best place in town to hangout and watch the game.

705 Main St, OurayThis burger joint has the vibes. Grab a marker and catch a spot. Write some that will last and others can see. Best onion rings I’ve had in a long time. Delicious fries and I had the bacon cheese burger it was very good. You grab your own toppings which I really liked put as much or as little you want and make your perfect burger yourself now that makes sense. But have to give a 4 star because we ordered the saddest chicken salad I’ve ever had if it wasn’t for such great burger fries and onion rings I would of gave a 3 star but I know, who orders a salad at a burger joint but sometimes you want a salad and they had it on the menu so I ordered it. Definitely coming back just not going to order that salad again. Lol

505 Main St, OurayDog friendly at the Shaggy Coo (most locations in Ouray are not...including the brewery and most restaurants) Shaggy Coo staff was very friendly and welcoming. Purchased a laser cut metal wall sign (great selection, among other quality souvenirs). Great shopping experience with the friendly and happy folks at Shaggy Coo. Enjoyed your background uplifting music. Thank you. Recommend!

441 Main St, OuraySmall family run bakery & cafe off Main Street in one of the older building. We stopped in for lunch after hiking into Box Canyon. We ordered the turkey salad with cranberries on wheat and the Italian on a hoagie. The meat was warmed and cheese melted. We picked up a baguette to go for back in camp.

Two nice shaded porch areas and a very cozy interior. This place is a gem and because it's on the far north side of town most people miss it. Be smart - stop in early in your trip.
