We are very particular about who we trust with Ellie and Stella, and Ouray Boarding Company exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. It was obvious that they genuinely love and care for every dog as if they were their own.
Ellie and Stella were happy, comfortable, and excited to be there. That gave us complete peace of mind while we were traveling. Knowing they were in such caring hands made our trip so much more enjoyable.
We wouldn't hesitate to bring them back, and we highly recommend Ouray Boarding Company to anyone looking for a place that truly treats your dogs like family. 🐾

Upstairs, 929 Main Street, OurayWe were so excited to find out this bar is owned by a fellow Wisonsinite! The fun signs, great service, and buckets of beer made us feel at home after 4 days of hiking! Crystal is a fun and amazing person!

705 Main St, OurayWe have visited Ouray a couple times, but first time to Maggie’s Kitchen. I ordered the cheeseburger and onion rings and my husband had the wang burger and fries today. We both ordered our burgers done medium well. They came out very moist (not dry) and tasted great! Everything was delicious! The food came out quickly after we ordered it and everyone was very nice. We ate outside on the patio. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere was pleasant. We highly recommend Maggie’s.

505 Main St, OurayDog friendly at the Shaggy Coo (most locations in Ouray are not...including the brewery and most restaurants) Shaggy Coo staff was very friendly and welcoming. Purchased a laser cut metal wall sign (great selection, among other quality souvenirs). Great shopping experience with the friendly and happy folks at Shaggy Coo. Enjoyed your background uplifting music. Thank you. Recommend!

Artisan Bakery & Cafe
441 Main St, OuraySmall family run bakery & cafe off Main Street in one of the older building. We stopped in for lunch after hiking into Box Canyon. We ordered the turkey salad with cranberries on wheat and the Italian on a hoagie. The meat was warmed and cheese melted. We picked up a baguette to go for back in camp.

607 Main St, OurayWe stopped in for lunch after doing the perimeter trail and it was a great choice.
The sandwich of the moment was a friend chicken sandwich and it was hot, fresh and tasty. The seasoned fries were very good and the side salad with bleu cheese was the perfect combo. We tried the amber and the brown ale and those beers were perfect after a good hike. Friendly service, good views on the rooftop, cold beers and great food.

515 Main St, OurayBEST BBQ i’ve had maybe ever? i’m from memphis and am very picky about my bbq. also am naturally a little burnt out on it, so a pulled meat sandwich is never my go-to. was skeptical turned shocked when i took a bite of the pulled chicken sandwich. jaw on the floor. almost had to write a review still sitting at the restaurant. i’m sure the other menu items are good, but if you eat meat you should really just get a pulled meat sandwich.
as an added plus our server (can’t remember his name) treated our dogs with such love and care. that is always amazing—thank you!
