1225 Blair St, SilvertonBetter than perfect. Mike the bartender had bob dylan playing softly on the stereo. I started with sweet potato fritters made with goat cheese and bacon. Wish I had a 2nd order now as I write this. Crispy crunchy on the outside, velvety smooth and creamy on the inside. I was stuffed after 4 but ate 7. Then came the most perfectly medium rare NY strip with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. And that sauce!!! Drizzle that over a used moped tire and I would eat it. I was stuffed halfway thru the appetizer but still cleaned my dinner plate. So full at this point, I ordered the pot de la creme for dessert. Yup. Inhaled that too. So many different textures. The chef came out and asked me how everything was. These guys made me feel right at home and they had no idea how much I needed that tonight. I left there 15 minutes past closing time, which they were super cool about. And now I have a bob dylan album downloaded for tomorrow's drive too. You guys are awesome. The food was delicious. Thanks for your sincere kindness.
