1421 Greene St, SilvertonStopped in for lunch as its in a quieter part of Silverton but still on the main street. The restaurant is small with only a few tables inside but it's got a few tables on their lovely lawn so we sat outside.
The food is uneven tho. Their chili is Texas style and very good but their curly fries were undercooked and were soggy and cold. They ran out of green chike so we couldn't try it.

1157 Greene Street, SilvertonI'd recommend at least once while in the area. 140 years of history. Surprised at the huge taxidermy collection. Tried Bison, Elk, Gator, Quail, Beef Rib Eye and Rocky Mnt Oysters.. Everything was amazing. The atmosphere was incredible.

1225 Blair St, SilvertonSo here I am three weeks later back in Charleston, SC and thinking about the best meal I've had in the past month. And yes. It was the bison meatloaf here. Came here with a family of 4 and everybody's meals were great. I ordered the bison meatloaf. Which, given the leanness of Bison was chancy. But it was fantastic. Even my wife that never eats meatloaf tried some and was impressed.
Great friendly service from the wait staff and bottom line is that the kitchen staff know what they are doing. These are real chefs making great food. I respect and appreciate your culinary expertise! Thank you for a very memorable and delicious meal.
