465 D St, PenroseOur first visit, to celebrate Rebecca's birthday. Wow!!! The best food ever and great wines. You've got to try their Bloody Mary made with the Bloody Mary Wine. The owners are delightful and add to the friendly welcoming experience. B'day girl was given a Cork-a-saurus as an added touch of fun by the staff. Will definitely be our new favorite place!

1215 Apple Ln, PenroseExcellent wines to choose from. Reds, whites, mead (off menu wines). Retired military owned. We’ve traveled all over the US tasting wines from various regions, and Bugling Elk’s wines are right up there with some of the best. Dog friendly. Harvest Hosts as well. Our favorite is called Red Velvet and it’s one of the best. Taste for yourself and visit Shawn, Alexis and their team. Visitors are welcomed like old friends and family.

675 CO-115, PenroseWe went here for coffee and pastries before heading to Desert Reef. The coffee drinks are definitely 2 levels above the normal Starbucks. And the pastries are home cooked and baked. If you're in the are I'd highly recommend this as a stop.
