I am going today before my 11:30 am shift starts. Yea! The atmosphere is relaxed chic shabby just like me! Don't change a thing but maybe add Thurs hours if possible.”

“I can’t match socks and my wife was at work the day I had to pick up the tile we had ordered for the bathroom. I found I needed edging for this and not being able to pick socks that match was at risk. Helen is brilliant. She went through all the options between what are called pencils and Schluter and help me find a perfect color match even without my wife being there. Roynette topped it off at the register with a constant smile and wrapping the purchase up for me since my arm is in sling. This is a great store and I look forward to the day. I need more tile.”

“When we bought our new condo, my husband and I wanted to have a custom sofa crafted to fit our living space and our lifestyle and to co-ordinate with other furniture we already had from our previous home. I called the Newington Bassett store and got Lisa Ruglio. I discussed our ideas with her over the phone and she was very helpful and assured me Bassett could do the job. We met with Lisa in the Newington show room where she showed us all the different collections and options, including hundreds of fabric samples. She patiently answered every question. She studied the photos we brought of our existing carpet, furnishings and wall color and the room measurements and made great suggestions on what options would give us the seating and the look we wanted. With Lisa's guidance, we crafted a beautiful u-shaped sectional sofa with a chaise on both the right and left sides and two comfy seats in the middle. We also ordered a matching ottoman. Lisa made wonderful suggestions, including ordering rolled arms and piping to add the bit of old-world formality my husband wanted while still offering casual comfort. While the custom-crafted sofa was being built, I stayed in touch with Lisa from time to time by text. When our furniture arrived in Connecticut six weeks later, Lisa made sure it was delivered promptly and expertly to our condo. The technicians were on time and fanstastic and so respectful of our home. Furniture is a major purchase. Go to a pro like Lisa and a quality firm like Bassett if you want it done right! Lisa is nice, too!”
“My landscape architect and I came across the privacy screens from Rustica Ornamentals and loved them. I purchased 4 screens to frame my new front landscaping and I absolutely love them. I live on a court and they are the talk of the court. Everyone has commented how cool they are and how well they accent our new native landscaping. They are very affordable but add so much value. “After a long day of searching for an accent chair at various stores like Arhaus, Pottery Barn, and Ashley's, we gave up as we had no luck of finding the right one and one we could take home today. We ended up wanting to shop for some snacks at the World Market.
