They (All employees!!!) also go above and beyond in supporting reptile rescue, spreading awareness on proper, ethical breeding and rescue practices. It’s clear they care deeply about the animals, the people who keep them, and the community as a whole.

He also enjoys Pet Supplies Plus in Wethersfield more than I do, because he doesn't know what money is, let along have any. But, the team there is always friendly. The toys are always chewy. The deals are generally good. And their care for pets is evident. Tully approved.”
“AMAZING! my boys Kevin & Wyatt (mini tigers) are no simple duo. Together they can be sweet, but not when they are bring groomed! Claudette and her team are fantastic. When I pick them up they just look beautiful. Everyone is so fun to work with. I like going there and seeing the birds. The boys are always in and out at reasonable times, even on busy days. “Better than TSC by a mile! All my plants from Smithland are thriving. No dead bare root fruit plants to be seen. I do wish the puddles in the plant section were swept out so they could dry, but that's my biggest complaint.”

“Incredible wealth of knowledge and very competitive pricing. I visited the WeHa location to find a new dog food for my rescues after months of researching and trialing various mid grade foods from big box stores. The associate working was incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions (quite technical questions regarding canine nutrition too!) and was able to make a lot of great recommendations. It’s a breath of fresh air to visit a pet store and know that all of the dog food available has been selected by the staff for quality. They have taken all of the hard work out of the selection process.
As an added bonus: the bag of Fromm dog food I purchased was cheaper than amazon. Where else do you get amazing customer service and great pricing on pet items?!?

“I can't say enough about this establishment, the staff is so nice, the owner is so polite and patient. My card had an issue and he was kind enough to wait until I called my bank, also I was told my new puppy cavapoo was a little matted under the belly and before they just shaved or trimmed him, they called me to inform me first. I noticed how the other fur babies were happy and how the place was so clean and the groomers were sweet and friendly and gentle with our babies. It doesn't smell and you could see your pups grooming area and waiting areas which were clean as well. I would highly recommend this place, they did a fantastic job with " jourdy and my best friend's golden noodle poodle chance.”
“The store has a great selection of gardening products for outdoors. They are a bit pricey on some items. Lookup the product you want first than see where it's cheapest. You'll see what I mean. For indoor gardening you'll want to shy away from grow tents or lighting. Better deals online. They do have a great line of Espoma brand mixes and soils and Foxfarm products at a good price. Their plants are great quality and when on sale great prices. I have no clue about their pet department.”
“We just got a kitten that didn't have any vaccinations done yet. We brought her here for her first visit and even though she was a little scared, they handled her perfectly and with care! The check-in process was very easy and the techs who administered her vaccines were wonderful. We'll be returning in a few weeks to do her next round as well.”
“They're pretty cool here. I'm delivering here and they let park in the back no problem. However, the alley dock is ridiculous! Very difficult to get lined up because there is zero room to maneuver! I was brushing the trees and on a patch of dirt that probably everyone winds up on. Be prepared to have your backing skills challenged if you're a semi driver!?”

“James did an excellent job grooming my maltipoo. He met the timeline he set upfront and showed great attention to detail. As he was bringing Bella to meet me, he noticed an errant hair and took the time to grab his shears and snip it. I feel sometimes people have negative perceptions about Petco groomers; however, James is excellent, and it seems several other groomers at this location are standouts as well.”
“I think it's great that Petsmart let's Louie's Legacy Cat Shelter bring cats there so people can see them, with the goal of getting them adopted.
I was looking to see if my local Petsmart had some cats for me to look at.
They did - and I immediately fell in love with one of them.
They are very careful about finding the right home for a cat - but the adoption process went very smoothly in a very timely manner.
The girl from Louie's Legacy was very sweet and patient as she introduced us to our newest member of the family.

“Update:I left a negative review for this store a year ago. I went back a few times after that, and I have to take back what I said. Things have improved since my last visit. Their fish selection is much better. The prices are competitive, if not better, than other local stores, and the staff is friendly. The manager was helpful, knowledgeable, and very polite. I will definitely go back again.”

“We moved to town 3 years ago and weren't sure where we'd end up getting our dog's nails trimmed as even at places we love it felt like a hassle for everyone. Dirty Dog has the option to stay with your dog while the groomer trims (or dremels) nails, which seems to help her calm down a bit. The girls are always quick, incredibly friendly, and know our dog by name. Love getting treats/toys there and every once in a while after a particularly muddy hike we've taken advantage of the DIY baths, too, which are great.”
