“I showed up without an appointment for a nail trim on an anxious Chihuahua. The groomer was gracious, fast and skilled. Never heard my pup yelp and believe me he yelps even for just being scared.

“Incredible wealth of knowledge and very competitive pricing. I visited the WeHa location to find a new dog food for my rescues after months of researching and trialing various mid grade foods from big box stores. The associate working was incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions (quite technical questions regarding canine nutrition too!) and was able to make a lot of great recommendations. It’s a breath of fresh air to visit a pet store and know that all of the dog food available has been selected by the staff for quality. They have taken all of the hard work out of the selection process.
As an added bonus: the bag of Fromm dog food I purchased was cheaper than amazon. Where else do you get amazing customer service and great pricing on pet items?!?

“We had a great experience purchasing our two baby guinea pigs. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful, making the entire process easy and enjoyable.
There was an older guinea pig that had been surrendered, and we would have loved to give her a good home. However, we were disappointed to see that she was priced the same as the younger guinea pigs. In my opinion, surrendered animals should have a reduced adoption fee to encourage people to give them a second chance. It just didn’t feel like the most ethical approach.
Overall, the staff and customer service were excellent, and we love our new guinea pigs. I just hope the store considers adjusting its pricing for surrendered animals to help them find loving homes more quickly.”

“I went in twice to buy birds a week apart. Everyone was helpful and nice. We got our first bird and it got lonely so we went and got another one. Very pleasant experience both times. The reason I took one star away is because I think they tell you whatever they think you want to hear when it comes to the gender of the birds. After doing my research, I understand it can be difficult to gender parakeets. But they both times told me I was buying female birds. I believe now that I have a male and a female and I am seriously hoping I dont end up with baby birds!”

“There are puppies all the way in the back if you are looking for a cuteness overload. You do need a membership however to take them out and play with them. A large fish selection to pick from. Pricing is a little hard to visualize at times, but overall a nice pet store.”

She demonstrated various training techniques, had us try them, and clearly explained things we could do at home to continue practicing. She was also great about answering questions, as we are new dog parents.”

“We moved to town 3 years ago and weren't sure where we'd end up getting our dog's nails trimmed as even at places we love it felt like a hassle for everyone. Dirty Dog has the option to stay with your dog while the groomer trims (or dremels) nails, which seems to help her calm down a bit. The girls are always quick, incredibly friendly, and know our dog by name. Love getting treats/toys there and every once in a while after a particularly muddy hike we've taken advantage of the DIY baths, too, which are great.”
